The selected experimental results in comparison with simulation results carried out by using Ansys Maxwell have also been presented. Individual stages of design and construction of the proposed machine have been reported. The aim of the work was to build and test the electrical machine with permanent magnet dedicated to the electric vehicle drive. The machine should have a high ratio of inductances in the q-axis to the d-axis, low values of cogging torque and low torque ripple. On the basis of simulation study, carried out for different topologies, the selection of rotor structure with the favorite magnetic parameters has been done. The prototype machine was built based on the stator and housing of commercial 6.3 kW induction motor.","PeriodicalId":286682,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Symposium on Electrical Machines (SME)","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126434379","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The selection of windings supplied with power depends on a rotor position which can be determined in a number of ways. Very frequently method is using optical or Hall effect two-state sensors fixed on motors. In the case of a sensor fault, when the sensor output signal remains unchanged, drive operation is significantly deteriorated and it is necessary to take actions ensuring further flawless operation of a drive in accordance with of the idea of fault-tolerant systems' operation. The paper presents the results of experimental research related to the reproduction of rotor angle position used after the detection of a rotor position sensor error.","PeriodicalId":286682,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Symposium on Electrical Machines (SME)","volume":"72 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130517526","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

They can cause very harmful phenomena connected with grid voltage drop, glimmering of lights or significant power losses. The presented 18 pulse rectifier circuits enable to lower the content of higher harmonics of the grid currents. When considering leakage inductance of autotransformers and supplying grid these rectifier circuits may be classified to the ‘clean power’ circuit type. Due to instability of ITP type chokes and their vulnerability to magnetic circuits saturation it was decided to resign from their application. Different 18 pulse rectifier circuits were analyzed and diode currents waveforms were calculated and their characteristic parameters were presented. These results may simplify the process of designing such circuits.","PeriodicalId":286682,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Symposium on Electrical Machines (SME)","volume":"76 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132825552","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The main reason of this anisotropy is an occurrence of certain textures in the dynamo sheets. The crystallographic research allowing determination of the dynamo sheet textures is described in the paper. For some typical dynamo sheets the basic textures and their volume fraction of the total sheet sample are presented. The properties of the determined textures are applied in the method which gives us possibilities to take into account the anisotropic properties more accurately than hitherto. In the proposed method, iron particles of the dynamo sheets are treated as grains which have three axes of the easy magnetization unlike to existing approaches. The influence of the texture type on the flux density changes is discussed in the paper.","PeriodicalId":286682,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Symposium on Electrical Machines (SME)","volume":"16 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123365072","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
