The gain matrix of the observer was determined by pole placement method in such a way, that the observer without adaptation has only real poles. It has been shown that adaptive proportional observer is stable also during generation mode of operation of the motor. Abstract
The paper presents problems related to the design and the stability of adaptive proportional observer which is used in sensorless, field oriented control system for estimation of magnetic flux and motor speed of induction motor.
