Abstract

In this paper the proposal for filtering AC line currents distortions of AC mains has been presented. The distortions are caused mainly by power electronics drives. Thus, the effectiveness of filtering was illustrated for two popular drives with an induction motor. The applied filter is passive with a wide range of tuning or automatically controlled self-tuning for a required frequency band. Presented results are theoretical, obtained due to simulation.
