Banking sectors are considered as the life blood of the Indian economy as they play an important and vital role in the economic activities. This study examines the overall performance of selected private sector banks using capital adequacy, asset quality, management effectiveness, earnings quality and liquidity level (CAMEL approach) over the period 2013-2022. Although profitability indicators (such as return on assets, return on equity and net profit margin) present the performance of selected private sector banks, it would be more appropriate to use the CAMEL Approach as a tool to assess overall performance. Because the performance of banks does not only depend on the level of NPAs or profitability, it is primarily based on various dimensions. To consider this point of view, the researchers adopted the CAMEL approach for this study to evaluate the overall financial performance of selected private sector banks.","PeriodicalId":286082,"journal":{"name":"ComFin Research","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123106931","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Early 2000s technological developments in broadband and e-commerce led to a situation that was somewhat reminiscent of the contemporary digital banking ecosystem. Through the following ten years, smart phones became widely available, paving the way for mobile payments outside of ATMs. If banks are to satisfy customer needs, they must continue to focus on creating digital technology that enables agility, scalability, and efficiency. Businesses’ capacity for creativity, adaptability, and variety may increase more than ever with the usage of artificial intelligence (AI). Numerous businesses are currently utilising AI to increase efficiency and competitiveness while quickening the digital revolution.","PeriodicalId":286082,"journal":{"name":"ComFin Research","volume":"222 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132058622","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

If you want to stop the spread of COVID-19, you must wear a mask, especially while you’re around other people. But if you venture outside of your “safe-at-home” paradise, you might see people with masks on in a number of different configurations, such as dangling from one ear, pushed down below the nose, or lying below the chin. These frequent errors reduce masking’s effectiveness and raise the wearer’s risk of contracting and disseminating the disease. Many COVID-19 patients don’t exhibit any symptoms, but they can still transmit the virus by speaking, sneezing, or coughing, which causes droplets to leave the mouth. Masking reduces COVID-19 incidences, even over time, according to scientific research. This paper provides an overview of what is currently known about using masks to protect against COVID 19. It addresses a variety of aspects of mask usage during the pandemic, such as the quality requirements for various face masks, consumer purchasing patterns, brand consideration, and knowledge of the effectiveness of face masks.","PeriodicalId":286082,"journal":{"name":"ComFin Research","volume":"18 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125718756","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
