Students usually found many difficulty to expressing ideas or choosing the words which they will write. However, it is not the case if the teacher guided well their students with corrective feedback. The teacher as the fasilitator has important role in the fasilitating learning by guiding students and eliciting response from them. This study examined the teachers corrective feedback in respoding to students english writing in one of public senior high school in Indramayu. In this research, the data were obtained from a teacher of one of senior high school in Indramayu . This research were being analyzed descriptive qualitative method and therefore the data were being collected through documentation and interview questions. The framework undertaken is being proposed by Ellis, thus the interview question was being adapted from Thorsteinsen. The findings was found that there were three categories of feedbacks specifically, direct corrective feedback, unfocused corrective feedback and metalinguistics corrective feedback. There are two types of motivation tested in this study: intrinsic and extrinsic. Intrinsic motivation includes self-efficacy and self-desire, while extrinsic motivation includes environmental factors and goals to be achieved. The participants in the present study are 33 eighth-semester university students from various departments in the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, except English Education Department, from one private university in Cirebon, West Java, Indonesia, who got the English lessons as a subject taught in that university. The participants are from the Department of Economics Education, Mathematics Education, Elementary School Education, and Indonesian Language and Literature Education. The present study uses a qualitative case study method. The data is gathered from the distribution of online questionnaires and interviews. The questionnaire contains 18 questions and is divided into four parts: self-efficacy, self-desire, environmental factor, and goal to be achieved. Then, the writers conduct indirect interviews through one of the telecommunications applications, namely WhatsApp. The results indicated that intrinsic motivation was the motivation that most influenced non-English Department students' motivation to learn English using ICT. This article also investigates the use of English proficiency, specifically for students in Indonesia and Thailand via online platform. It is based on semi structure interviews synchronously and asynchronously conducted with international students in both countries. The article focuses on five international students studying abroad from five different countries. This article uses an ethnography case study which describes some images from the results and findings in greater depth. The findings indicate the reasons for analysis and effectiveness in moving literacy practice toward digitalization for L2 students. These findings suggest that new literacy learning is rapidly evolving with advanced technology, necessitating the use of a high-speed Internet connection. This study contributes to language planning as L2 based on ethnography which has also been adapted into digital literacy for Thai and Indonesian students. In addition, this research's contribution is to give some people more about the importance of digital literacy practices, especially for an institution that has international students in teaching and learning. Learners are fond to use MALL to practice their English proficiency inside and outside the classroom. Moreover, with the assistance of MALL features, learners can enhance their English competence as well as their learning autonomy. In this study, we intend to investigate perceptions of EFL students toward the use of MALL in English learning to promote their learning autonomy. Situated in a private university in Cirebon, this study voluntarily recruited four EFL students who have fulfilled a set of criteria to be involved in interview sessions and self-reflection. They are English students who have positive perceptions on technology acceptance and learning autonomy based on the data of a preliminary study. The findings show that participants perceived the ease of use and the usefulness of MALL applications in English learning. Besides, this study also reveals that participants agreed that MALL can support their learning autonomy outside the classroom. The study examined both students’ and teachers’ looked at its impact the students’ motivation and the factors in their learning performance especially in writing. The analysis of the data in this study uses the technique of qualitative data analysis and coding the data by grounded theory or thematic analysis. It was found that students’ motivation in writing learning performance is low because of writing anxiety. On the other hand, some of the factors would engage and motivate them in writing learning performance based on some the aspects of learning situations in the perspective of Dӧrnyei, 1994). This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using the ekuliah website as a learning medium for third semester students in the D-III Accounting study program at Politeknik Harapan Bersama in studying descriptive text material during the COVID-19 pandemic situation. This research is a true experimental study that uses two class groups as research objects. Pre-test was given to both class groups in order to determine the initial competencies possessed by students. The two class groups were then taught descriptive text material with different treatments. The treatment was carried out using the conventional method for the comparison class group and the use of the ekuliah website media for the experimental class group. After the post-test was held at the end of the treatment, the test results experienced a significant increase in the average score for the comparison class group of 2.4 points (mean of pre-test score was 72.6 and post-test was 75) and 6.9 points (mean of pre-test score was 76 and post-test was 82.9) for the experimental class. This study will use the theory of humor and satire to find out the meaning of Kiky's roasting material. Many factors can influence people to be bilinguals at the same time. By being bilinguals, people are urged to do code-switching. This study aims to answer the questions of what types of code-switching are used by the main character of Emily in Paris series and the functions of code-switching that are found in the Emily in Paris series. This study used a qualitative method and the data were collected from the script of episode 1 till episode 10 of Emily in Paris series. The results of the research showed that there were 3 types of code-switching that are used by Emily in Emily in Paris, such as inter-sentential switching, intra-sentential switching, and tag switching. Even though Mobile-Assisted Language Learning (MALL) is widely used to support online language teaching and learning, nonetheless, the integration of Mobile-Assisted Language Assessment (MALA) in speaking skills has not been immensely examined. Thus, this current study aimed to scrutinize Indonesian EFL learners perceptions of the use of WhatsApp as a tool for peer assessment in an online speaking class, as well as its potential benefits and drawbacks. This qualitative study employed a semi-structured interview to gain the data which were then analyzed by using phenomenological analysis. Fourteen secondary learners participated in two sessions of an online class by assessing their peers oral performances via the WhatsApp application. In the end, they were interviewed regarding their views on the method employed to assess their oral skills. The results indicated the participants positive perceptions towards the method along with various benefits and drawbacks they encountered during the process which were divided into technical and academic aspects. Among other social media, Twitter is the most well-known social media platform for idea-sharing. With a resource such as hashtags, people can search, follow, and contribute to a specific topic, which can create a nationwide and even worldwide discussion. With such a high engagement between users, how the twitter users use language to manage interpersonal role-relationship effectively will determine how smooth a communication goes. Character education is an integral part of Indonesia's education system. Therefore, in this internet era, it is also essential to understand the language resources of interpersonal meaning that students can exploit to engage more positively while exercising their freedom of expression in social media. This study draws upon the Systemic Functional Linguistic's (SFL) theory of interpersonal metafunction (Halliday, 1978; Halliday & Matthiessen, 2014; Martin, 1992) that focuses on Mood and Modality and the Appraisal system (Martin, J.R.; White, 2005).
