The study examined both students’ and teachers’ looked at its impact the students’ motivation and the factors in their learning performance especially in writing. The analysis of the data in this study uses the technique of qualitative data analysis and coding the data by grounded theory or thematic analysis. It was found that students’ motivation in writing learning performance is low because of writing anxiety. On the other hand, some of the factors would engage and motivate them in writing learning performance based on some the aspects of learning situations in the perspective of Dӧrnyei, 1994).
