Lots of higher education institutions of the country admit international students, and they face similar hardships there, affecting their studies: lack of information regarding the country, different climate, lifestyle, living conditions, and the new language to acquire. The paper reviews the research on widely accepted organizational and administrative steps, along with pedagogical decisions, developed by the pedagogical community to support international students in social adaptation. We herewith reveal that the pedagogical support in this respect focuses on the educational potential of socio-cultural environment and is aimed to involve international students in a varied range of extra-curricular cognitive, research and leisure activities. Their life and cognitive foreign cultural experience being applied in the course of teaching Russian as a foreign language clears out the possibility of a broader educational context - social organizations activity. The article considers the International Students Club (UdSU social organization) activities through participation of international students. The grounding technologies to involve international students in team work with Russian students are project and play based learning. The article describes a number of projects and interactive games. The educational environment of this kind has the advantage of Russian and international students interacting and is characterized by multilingualism, equality of participants, informal communication, freedom to implement creative ideas, openness to the newcomers, as well as increased productivity. It contributes to the development of new and diverse speech practices in verbal and written communication, whereas their cognitive activity in discovering new socio-cultural environment helps develop professional skills.","PeriodicalId":280577,"journal":{"name":"Bulletin of Udmurt University. The analysis of these trends shapes the contours of new subject field of not only socio-philosophical or cultural studies, but also inter-disciplinary researches of the multifractality phenomenon as a whole. Consideration of the multifractal prospects from the point of view of social philosophy of culture of an informational society is a kind of inter-disciplinary research in a sphere of philosophical works. The paper forms a discourse of the multifractal mediacommunications in a global networking space. Mediacommunications in this research are defined as a kind of social communications in a media sphere. The main problem of the research may be reduced to the question: is it possible to characterize the issue of multifractality of network mediacommunications in a philosophical context? The purpose of the research is the analysis of the philosophical aspect of multifractality of network mediacommunications in the information civilization. The object of study is a variety of processes of social communications development connected to the prospects of modern mediacommunications. The main hypothesis formulated in the research is that elaboration of the philosophical theory of global networking mediacommunications may be of a fractal-like nature. The relevance of addressing the problem of the gift is dictated by the ambiguous interpretation of the term in modern Western philosophy. The problem of the gift is presented most controversially by the French philosophers M. Enaff, J. Derrida, M. Moss, J.-L. Marion. The article notes that the existence of human society is communicative by nature. The desire to accept the other, to tolerate the other, to crave the other, to seek a meeting with him/her persists in time and is constantly updated. The reason for this desire is neither psychological nor social. This desire has an ontological structure, it is inherent in the entire human race, and therefore determines the structure of its existence. This desire arose at the dawn of human relations and is characteristic for any culture. Desire is an attitude towards the other just like a gift and a demand for reciprocity. We are not talking about gratitude as a favor, but about the gesture of the offer, which is intended to glorify the meeting and the need to respond to this gesture with an appropriate gesture. The exchange of gestures, when both sides show interest in the exchange, is communication. Among them, there is not only the one that is involved in the technique of Yu.T. Glazunov and K.R. Sidorov, where goals are divided into regularly reproducible goals, analogue and development goals, but also the classification of D. Derner, who divides them into goals of striving and avoidance, general (global) and specific (definitized) goals, clear and unclear goals. The conducted analysis also leads to the formulation of a new classification of goals based on their orientation: towards oneself (\"I\"), towards other persons (\"Others\"), towards the world (\"World\"), towards the material sphere (\"Material values\"). The conducted research allows to increase the interpretative capabilities of the technique and, consequently, its objectivity. Okonnikova","doi":"10.35634/2412-9550-2020-30-4-390-406","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.35634/2412-9550-2020-30-4-390-406","url":null,"abstract":"The article reveals the results of a sociological survey that allowed the authors to measure and analyze the levels of digital literacy of teachers and students of the Udmurt State University, as well as to assess the willingness of teachers and students to use digital technologies in the educational process and to the transition to the active use of distant learning technologies, including emergency transition to distant education due to the spread of coronavirus infection and rigid restrictions connected to self-isolation in the spring of 2020. In assessing the readiness of teachers and students for distance education, the authors proceed from the fact that it can be identified on the basis of their digital literacy index. According to the results of a sociological survey, the digital literacy indices of teachers and students are calculated, a detailed analysis of the components of these indices is given, the problem areas in the ICT competencies of teachers and students are identified, and the corresponding conclusions are drawn. The geographical boundaries of the study are the modern territory of the Volga Federal District. The period of the late 1940s and early 1950s was a stage of students’ science formation in universities. The student science society and the science circle became the main organizational forms of students’ research activity. Based on the study of the state and university normative documents, universities’ plans and reports of those years, the author draws conclusions about the main peculiarities of the organization of students’ scientific activity and problems of development of the direction. The basic requirements for a student science society member are described. The importance of such forms of work as review-competition of student scientific works and student scientific conference is considered. Allakhverdov. Consciousness appears as a constructive reaction of the psyche to the uncertainty of a state in which it is impossible to use one or another automatism to successfully regulate behavior. The human psyche immediately after its birth receives a huge amount of information and carefully records it. At the basic (not conscious) level, the entire personal \"archive\" of individual experience is stored in the maximum completeness. At the surface (conscious) level, the stream of consciousness flows continuously and provides the reception of higher, rational decisions. But at the level of awareness, the basic consciousness without restriction allows for those images and strategies that are necessary for solving urgent and not fully understood problems. As long as variants of unconscious ideas remain in the unconscious, they do not change or modify and form a stable basis for conscious search. The use of such theoretical attitudes helps to re-evaluate many established pedagogical views. The teacher has important didactic functions. When a student learns a new scientific term, he can automatically connect it inaccurately with the existing intellectual experience and only in a dialogue with the teacher he goes from erroneous statements to true ones. The teacher helps one to overcome a variety of negative choices and get closer to a successful positive choice. The teacher also acts as a motivator for creativity, helping the student in solving non-standard tasks to activate internal resources to remove a barrier in the unconscious. Insight removes the block from the previously selected option that was negatively selected. The role of the self-system in the process of setting and stabilization of person’s psychological comfort remains undeniable as well. One of the psychological and pedagogical problems of verifying students' knowledge in the current educational process, and especially during the examination tests, is the high stress caused by information and psychological overload. In particular, examination stress affects the student’s cognitive activity, and this in turn can have a significant impact on the test result. This article describes the study of influence of self-esteem of psychological characteristics directly related to the perception, understanding, remembering of new information in the context of the educational process and factors of self-attitude, as the structures of person’s self-system, on students' memories of cognitive and affective states experience during the examination tests. The research methods were testing and questioning followed by analysis of statistical connections and differences. The results of the research indicate the existence of certain general psychological mechanisms of influence of the self-system’s structures on cognitive and affective states regulation of students in situation of examinations. In practical terms, the data obtained can be useful for the development of psychological and pedagogical technologies for working with secondary and high school students in order to improve the quality of examination answers, taking into account the context of situations and individual psychological characteristics of students.","PeriodicalId":280577,"journal":{"name":"Bulletin of Udmurt University.
