As transportation activities affect environmental quality, knowledge, why travellers prefer specific modes can help a region do judicious transportation planning. The travellers' daily trip and mode choice process have mainly involved three types of choice: mode choice, time choice, and route choice. In this paper, we focus on studying the impact of the activity characteristics that include activity purpose and the characteristics of the individuals, such as gender, age and income, and average distance of the trip, on the transport mode choice for completing activities of travellers. The aim is to use statistical analysis to investigate the impact of these variables on transport mode choice applying the decision tree model, which provides a set of easy-to-interpret decision rules necessary to make appropriate decisions. The data processing in this study is based on actual observations of travel behaviour in Budapest. Our analysis's findings indicate that income, distance, and activity purpose are the most significant factors in the decisions related to mode choice. Also, this study provides promising insights for developing activity chain modelling.","PeriodicalId":278114,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 2021 9th International Conference on Information Technology: IoT and Smart City","volume":"14 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115367394","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This should also comply with national and international jurisdiction, and time appeal to parents as well. In this paper the researchers used of an educational game called Tahderiyyah Literacy App (TLA) with standard general framework which designers and developers created for children ages four to six years old. This platform has been the testing ground for the edutainment game in the field of user experience. The purpose of the paper is to observe the interactions, experience and adaptation of kindergarten pupil (learners) on a particular on the TLA based on game's user experience. TLA was design using their mother tongue which can be played on mobile devices. Focusing only to learners from Muslim Community. While the term User Experience encompasses both physical and digital experiences, the main focus for the framework is purely for digital services wherein only touch based devices are evaluated in greater detail. On the assessment process, students were observed and interviewed about the game and what they learned about numbers and letters from game they played. This process was done to help the kindergarten answers their questionnaires. Every learner that act as respondents were guided to answer the answer the questionnaires given to them. Results of using TLA to analyze an HCI factors in learning environment are described in the later part of this paper. Implications for using TLA as a design for pedagogical tool are also discussed.","PeriodicalId":278114,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 2021 9th International Conference on Information Technology: IoT and Smart City","volume":"57 3","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"120853384","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Autonomous vehicles (AVs) will play a role to improve road safety, relieve congestion, save energy, and reduce air pollution. Moreover, it would be also a solution to solve the first mile and last-mile problem in transportation. Shared autonomous vehicle (SAV) is a service for public transportation, or paratransit system. Once SAV service is applied in an urban city, the new mode will have new interactions with existing modes. Besides, an emerging technology breakthrough is accompanied by user adoption and reliability. This paper proposes a demand-supply conceptual framework for studying the possible operations of SAVs. The demand side is modeled through multinomial logit models (MNL) based on a survey. The MNL is used to analyze travelers' preferences for SAVs and Biogeme software to estimate parameters. The results show that SAV is more likely to be used by people who use public transit frequently, have a ride-sharing experience, and are female.","PeriodicalId":278114,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 2021 9th International Conference on Information Technology: IoT and Smart City","volume":"59 2","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"120985690","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

How to build a multi-level tourist bus system that serves world-class tourist cities is worthy of attention. Based on the concept of TOD, this paper innovatively proposes methods to evaluate the TOD index of tourism and to plan the tourism bus network hierarchically. First of all, this paper constructs a tourism TOD index from three perspectives: the service level around the tourist intention point, the development potential around the tourist intention point, and the traffic convenience near the tourist intention point. In the context of traffic big data, a web spider which is written in Python crawls POI data to realize the quantification of tourism TOD indicators. Then, ArcGIS is used to statistically analyze the tourism TOD index to determine the graded travel demand points of passengers. According to the demand of passenger flow, the multi-level tourist bus network is planned reasonably. Finally, the research results are applied to the tourist bus in Guilin City, which proves that the method has good applicability.","PeriodicalId":278114,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 2021 9th International Conference on Information Technology: IoT and Smart City","volume":"14 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127474771","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In windy weather, the vehicle is prone to slip and capsize, causing the ship to tip over. This article analyzes the five aspects of \"ships, crews, large vehicles, natural environment, and navigable environment\", and establishes an index system for the safety of short-distance Ro-Ro passenger ships carrying large vehicles; the C-OWA operator weighting method is used to calculate each evaluation index For weight, the asymmetric close degree function is introduced to replace the maximum membership function in the traditional extension theory to solve the problem of the failure of the maximum membership degree, so as to establish an improved matter-element extension model. Taking the Qiongzhou Strait Ro-Ro passenger ship as an example to verify, the navigation safety risk level of the Ro-Ro passenger ship is obtained for the situation that large vehicles are not secured. The research results are basically consistent with the actual situation, verifying the effectiveness and practicability of the improved matter-element extension model for the research on the impact of this type of navigation safety.","PeriodicalId":278114,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 2021 9th International Conference on Information Technology: IoT and Smart City","volume":"36 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125439386","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

How to make space-based TT&C network run more efficiently is challenging. In order to reveal the internal relationship between satellite nodes and between satellite and ground user nodes in space-based TT&C network and give a general law, the network capacity of space-based TT&C network is studied in this paper. Firstly, according to the characteristics of nodes and links in space-based TT&C network, a network capacity model for time-varying space network is proposed. The model describes and constrains the network capacity model from four aspects: path availability, transmission rate, path planning strategy and path reliability. Then, the change trend of network capacity of space-based TT&C network is analyzed. Through simulation analysis, the possibility of optimizing the control networking strategy of space-based TT&C network is pointed out.","PeriodicalId":278114,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 2021 9th International Conference on Information Technology: IoT and Smart City","volume":"13 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122331691","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
