This research used a case study approach at Asahan University. This study aimed to analyze the effect of the Merdeka Belajar-Kampus Merdeka program at Asahan University. Method: The approach was used as an experimental research approach. The respondents constituted students and lecturers at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education at Asahan University, which accounts for 26 participants. In sampling from the population, researchers used purposive sampling with sample characters, namely students and lecturers of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, students and lecturers involved in the MBKM program batch 1 to batch 6. Data collection was carried out using 20 questionnaires, which were analyzed using a Likert Scale. The data was collected using the Google form integrated with Internet-Based Data Analysis (IBDA) and analyzed using the Microsoft Office Excel formula. Results: Therefore, based on the questionnaire distributed using Google Forms, it was found that the program MBKM that Asahan University has carried out affects the competence of graduates involved in the program, with a significance of 64.4% with significant criteria. Novelty: Based on the analysis and discussion results, the Learning Management System integrated the MBKM program to require a clear, structured concept and scientific transparency in all aspects to increase the number of graduates who contribute to the development of Indonesia Maju 2045.","PeriodicalId":275346,"journal":{"name":"IJORER : International Journal of Recent Educational Research","volume":"140 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-01-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139629525","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Method: The research employs a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) methodology involving identifying, evaluating, and interpreting relevant literature on the research topic. Results: The findings reveal that the ethnomathematical approach effectively enhances students' understanding of mathematics. Students exhibit higher motivation and satisfaction with mathematics learning when connected to their local culture. Novelty: This research shows that the ethnomathematics approach facilitates the development of teachers' competencies in integrating cultural elements into mathematics education. Both teachers' recommendations and research findings support the inclusion of ethnomathematics in mathematics curricula both directly in developing learning tools and materials and in curriculum policies. Additionally, there is potential for technology applications to support ethnomathematics learning, enabling students to study mathematics independently. In conclusion, integrating ethnomathematics holds significant potential in improving students' mathematical understanding, connecting mathematics with local culture, and motivating students to learn mathematics more enjoyable and relevantly.","PeriodicalId":275346,"journal":{"name":"IJORER : International Journal of Recent Educational Research","volume":"68 2","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-01-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139629290","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Method: The research method used was included in preliminary research with a sample of 19 students. Data collection techniques use critical thinking skills tests, student response questionnaires, and lecturer interviews. Then, the data was analyzed using qualitative descriptions to represent the research results. Results: Analysis shows students' critical thinking skills are still relatively low. Critical thinking indicators that get an average score from high to low are interpretation, analysis, inference, and evaluation. An alternative that can be done to increase students' interest and critical thinking skills is to apply the PBL model in physics learning. Novelty: The novelty of this research lies in its new contribution to mapping students' initial abilities regarding their critical thinking skills with the help of the PBL model. This mapping helps lecturers evaluate physics learning, especially electromagnetic material, and determine what future steps can be taken to improve students' critical thinking skills.","PeriodicalId":275346,"journal":{"name":"IJORER : International Journal of Recent Educational Research","volume":"7 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-01-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139629321","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Method: This study examines the scale of cross-cultural adaptation and assesses the modified version using higher education as an organizational context. Translation, synthesis, back-translation, engagement with subject experts, and an emphasis on readability were all part of the thorough scale adaptation process by the International Test Commission (ITC) Guidelines for Translating and Adapting Test. The researchers performed an anonymous self-administered survey and gathered 534 responses from two samples of non-academic staff working in different universities. Results: Results showed that the scale, consisting of 25 questions divided into four subscales, had acceptable fit indices using CFA and excellent internal consistency. The population in this study were all high school students at one of the senior high schools in West Nusa Tenggara, with the sample being class X students with a total of 60 students. Results: Based on research findings, it is known that the skills of the students in the sample are divided into three categories, namely very low, low, and moderate. Half of the sample size is in the very low category. At the same time, the rest is divided into the low and moderate categories, where a small number of students belong to the moderate category. One example of its implementation in education is the use of websites in science learning. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of learning websites in improving student achievement. Method: Using the systematic literature review method, the research collects and analyzes twenty articles related to learning websites. Result: The results of the twenty journals showed that the use of website media has a positive impact on improving student achievement in the context of science learning. This reflects the critical role of technology in education in the era of global society 5.0. There has been a significant increase in minimum score achievement and student satisfaction with learning. Using the website allows students to learn efficiently and flexibly anywhere. This indicates that learning websites effectively aid students' comprehension of the material, motivate them to learn, and foster interest in learning.
