The simulation model is based on the measuring device described in D4935-10 standard. The basis of the method is the placement of a sample between two holders, passing a signal through the sample and measuring the outcome. The simulation model is implemented in the commercial software COMSOL. Numerical tests have been performed on dimensional (2D) models with axial symmetry. The results of the simulations are briefly presented for a copper probe within a frequency range between 30 MHz and 3 GHz.","PeriodicalId":271843,"journal":{"name":"2014 International Conference and Exposition on Electrical and Power Engineering (EPE)","volume":"21 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-12-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132302120","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study can be a starting base for developing a risk of exposure evaluation questionnaire. Two types of exposure situations are considered in measurements: places situated in the vicinity (but in far field zone) of the main sources and places situated remotely from main sources. Also an exposure evaluation is performed for each case, taking into account the pollution from all sources together. There were found field levels of about tens to hundreds of mV/m and relative exposure of about 5×10-5 to 8×10-5 in the “source vicinity” cases and about few to tens of mV/m and relative exposure of about 3×10-6 to 1.4×10-5 in the “remotely by source” cases.","PeriodicalId":271843,"journal":{"name":"2014 International Conference and Exposition on Electrical and Power Engineering (EPE)","volume":"4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-12-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128468638","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Based on this analysis, two simulation algorithms have been proposed to reduce CPU time and memory, can help the grid operator to assess power situation and increase penetration level of DG. Firstly, It deals with an algorithm developed for power load flow studies in electrical power systems using Schur complement method. By dividing Jacobian matrix into two separated matrices with reasonable computation time, It could be avoided divergence of the solution. A next step that was applied concerned Data Compression for the Simulated algorithms conceived to study load flow calculation in electrical power systems. Real time monitor of grids required less computation time in calculation of power system analysis. It proposed an algorithm based on Run Length Encoding (RLE) method where no zero values are included. Matlab results obtained by applying these algorithms match the analytical approaches. Results have been compared with Newton Raphson and Fast Decoupled methods in term of influence of convergence properties and it's efficiency. These methods have been implemented and tested on several IEEE bus test systems.","PeriodicalId":271843,"journal":{"name":"2014 International Conference and Exposition on Electrical and Power Engineering (EPE)","volume":"14 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-12-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132098303","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In construction some nonlinearityes exist into the throttle. The most significant nonlinearity is a dead-zone. It has its origin in a security position of the throttle position. There are other nonlinearities e.g. Coulomb friction and nonlinearities related to wear. The work is focused on the control of the position of the throttle. Discrete-time designs of electronic throttle control systems are required for implementation on electric traction borne computers. This paper presents an nonlinear, discrete-time control system design method. These is the discrete-time feedback linearization method. First, the system dynamics is transformed into linear, time-invariant form. Next, the pole placement control techniques it is applied to the transformed control problem. In the presence of parametric variations, and perturbation the linearized system is modified. Next, we propose to use the adaptive dynamical control to minimize the consequences of these parametric variations. The resulting control scheme is applied on the original system and its effectiveness is evaluated by simulation tests.","PeriodicalId":271843,"journal":{"name":"2014 International Conference and Exposition on Electrical and Power Engineering (EPE)","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-12-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134221498","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The Largest Lyapunov Exponent - LLE was computed for the MFCC mel frequency cepstral coefficients and the LPCC linear prediction cepstral coefficients. The Support Vector Machine - SVM classifier provides better results than Weighted K-Nearest Neighbors - WKNN classifier in emotion recognition for feature vectors that contains LLE (around 75%). The best recognized by using SVM classifier was the neutral tone, followed by the sadness, fury and the weakest recognized was the joy. For features vectors which include LLE the best results was obtained in combination with LAR - Log Area Ratio coefficients, respectively PARCOR - partial correlation coefficients.","PeriodicalId":271843,"journal":{"name":"2014 International Conference and Exposition on Electrical and Power Engineering (EPE)","volume":"29 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-12-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134223706","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

These elements relate to continuous monitoring of comfort level, the weather conditions and temperature of an object by thermal radiation and detection the approaching of a storm with lightning activity. When the comfort level is dangerous, temperature of monitored object is outside predetermined limits or a storm with lightning activity is approaching, the system will automatically issue a warning SMS to a preset number. An SMS can also be issued in response to a received SMS from a known number. Issued SMS messages contain relevant data on situations that generated the messages. Being warned of the occurrence of these situations one can take the necessary preventive measures resulting in increasing the comfort, safety, reduced domestic consumption of energies and time savings.","PeriodicalId":271843,"journal":{"name":"2014 International Conference and Exposition on Electrical and Power Engineering (EPE)","volume":"124 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-12-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132969026","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
