This research aims to reveal socio-religious ideology in the Anggabaya East Denpasar subak’s texts. Research methods include the matching method and the agih method, with data obtained through interviews and direct observation of several respondents taken by sampling. In this subak, farmers practice high respect for God Vishnu and Dewi Sri, considered to be the givers of prosperity in the rice fields. Work in the rice fields is not only done physically but is also based on a religious aspect full of offerings and prayers. For example, farmers pray to Ratu Betara Sri, asking for safety when working in the rice fields by offering biukukung offerings. The agricultural process is directed through ritual stages, including ceremonies for rat pests. Palynology is a study of pollen that frequently used as a reference to support data in identifying mangrove species. Mangrove areas in Bali have patchy distribution, one of which can be found in the Batu Lumbang area. Batu Lumbang is a mangrove area that is part of the Ngurah Rai Forest Park. Observation of the micromorphological characteristics of pollen in the Batu Lumbang mangrove forest area was carried out through the acetolysis method with modification. Eleven mangrove species were sampled, comprised of Aegiceras corniculatum, Avicennia marina, Bruguiera gymnorhiza, Ceriops tagal, Exoecaria agallocha, Lumnitzera racemosa, Rhizophora apiculata, Rhizophora mucronata, Sonneratia alba, Sonneratia caseolaris, and Xylocarpus granatum. The results of observations on pollen from eleven species of mangroves show similarities of pollennits, monads. In addition, other pollen characters such as aperture type, pollen shape, and pollen size categories found vary among the samples observed. These characters can also group several species that have the same family or genus. Snakehead fish (Channa striata) is one of the freshwater fish commodities in Indonesia which is still widely cultivated. Snakehead fish (Channa striata) is a fish that is economically feasible and has benefits that are beneficial to human health. This research was conducted in a period of 58 days aimed to determine the effect of feeding maggot BSF (Hermetia illuences) on the growth and survival of snakehead fish (Channa striata). The stocking density of fish in this study was 20 fish/pond, 3-4 cm in size fish obtained from cultivators in the Denpasar area, the pond used was made of tarpaulin with a size of 50×50 cm. This research used 3 treatments, treatments A (100% pellet), treatment B (100% BSF maggot), and treatment C (50% pellet + 50% BSF maggot) with 3 replications. Parameters observed in this study were specific growth rate, absolute length growth, survival rate, feed conversion ratio and water quality. The results of the research that have been carried out show that treatment C gave the highest yield on the specific growth rate, absolute length growth and survival rate of snakehead fish (Channa striata). Pantai Lovina memiliki kawasan perairan pantai yang masih sangat alami sehingga berpotensi dijadikan sebagai kawasan ekowisata. Informasi mengenai daya dukung dan kesesuaian lingkungan untuk pengembangan pariwisata berkelanjutan di Pantai Lovina belum pernah dilakukan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kondisi kesesuaian lingkungan dan daya dukung, dan kondisi objek daya tarik wisata di Pantai Lovina untuk pengembangan pariwisata berkelanjutan. Pengambilan data dilakukan pada bulan Januari-Februari dengan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Pengamatan dan pengukuran dilakukan pada tiga stasiun dengan karakteristik lingkungan perairan yang berbeda-beda. Kondisi objek daya tarik wisata di Pantai Lovina masih sangat alami dengan pesona keindahan yang sangat menarik dan didukung fasilitas pelayanan pendukung lainnya. kondisi indeks kesesuaian wisata kategori rekreasi termasuk dalam kategori sesuai dengan nilai 2,4 pada stasiun 1 dan 2, dan kategori sangat sesuai dengan nilai 2,7 pada stasiun 3, sedangkan daya dukung kawasan didapatkan dengan nilai 2.291 orang/hari. Budidaya konvensional pada udang vannamei seringkali identik dengan pengolahan limbah yang kurang baik, dimana limbah budidaya dibuang langsung ke perairan sehingga menyebabkan penurunan kualitas air. Penelitian ini menggunakan 2 sistem budidaya yang berbeda yaitu RAS (Recirculating Aquaculture System) dan sistem konvensional (flow-through). Lokasi penelitian bertempat di BPIUUK Karangasem, Bali. Pengecekan kualitas air pada masing-masing bak meliputi pengukuran amonia, nitrit, TSS (Total Suspended Solid) dan kelimpahan mikroba. Pengukuran berat dan panjang dimulai dari umur udang 30 hari dengan pengecekan lanjut setiap 7 hari sekali. Pengambilan sample kualitas air maupun pengukuran berat dan panjang dilakukan dengan metode Random sampling pada masing-masing bak pembesaran. Berdasarkan data hasil penelitian, kualitas air budidaya menggunakan RAS dan konvensional tidak berbeda nyata. Data kelimpahan mikroba yang di dapat pada budidaya menggunakan RAS dan konvensional tidak berbeda nyata, terbukti pada hasil yang didapatkan pada RAS mencapai 2,0 x 105 cfu/mL dan pada budidaya konvensional mencapai 2,1 x 105 cfu/mL. Laju pertumbuhan dengan nilai rata-rata ADG (Average Daily Growth) pada RAS sebesar 0,88 g sedangkan pada konvensional sebesar 0,80 g. Perbandingan budidaya menggunakan RAS dan konvensional flow-through secara keseluruhan tidak berbeda nyata dari segi kualitas air, kelimpahan mikroba dan laju pertumbuhan. The success of ex situ orchid conservation requires knowing the types of its host trees. The study aimed to carry out an inventory of D. linearifolium and its host trees in the Lemukih Village Area, Buleleng – Bali. An explorative method was applied in the research. There were 63 individuals of D. linearifolium found in Lemukih Village. The highest number was present at an altitude of 500-700 meters above sea level (masl) (35), followed by those at 901-1200 m apl (22) and at 701-900 m apl (6) respectively. Meanwhile, 17 host trees were obtained which consisted of 10 species and eight families. Most D. linearifolium were found on Syzygium aqueum (Burm.f.) Alston (11), followed by those on Tamarindus indica L. (10), Helicia robusta (Roxb) R.Br. ex Blume (10) and Coffea canephora L. (7). Tingginya permintaan abalone menyebabkan peningkatan pengambilan langsung di alam dan berisiko pada kelangkaan abalone di perairan. Salah satu cara untuk mengatasi hal tersebut adalah melakukan budidaya abalone dengan sistem monokultur. Salah satu teknologi yang diaplikasikan adalah budidaya abalone adalah dengan menggunakan sistem recirculating aquaculture system (RAS) yaitu mengolah air yang telah digunakan agar dapat dimanfaatkan kembali untuk kegiatan budidaya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis parameter kualitas air, pertumbuhan panjang dan berat serta kelulushidupan pada pemeliharaan benih abalon (Haliotis squamata) dengan menggunakan sistem RAS. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Juni – September 2020 di Balai Induk Udang dan Kekerangan, Karangasem, Bali. Penelitian menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Parameter kualitas air yang diukur meliputu nitrit, ammonia, TSS , pH, suhu, DO, dan salinitas. Hasil pengukuran kualitas air menunjukkan nilai nitrit berkisar 0 – 0,338 mg/L, ammonia 0 – 0,09 mg/L, TSS 0 – 15 mg/L, pH 7 – 8, suhu 26 – 28 oC, DO 4,3 – 7,07 mg/L, dan salinitas 31 – 38 ppt. Nilai tersebut masih dalam kisaran optimal untuk pemeliharaan abalone. Pertumbuhan penduduk, perkembangan industri, rumah makan dan restoran cepat saji menyebabkan penggunaan minyak goreng semakin meningkat. Peningkatan penggunaan minyak goreng tersebut akan menyebabkan peningkatan limbah hasil penggorengan. Limbah minyak bekas atau minyak jelantah yang tidak dikelola dengan baik akan menyebabkan pencemaran di lingkungan. Kurangnya kesadaran masyarakat akan bahaya limbah minyak jelantah terhadap lingkungan sehingga perlu adanya pembinaan kepada masyarakat terkait bahaya pembuangan limbah minyak jelatah ke lingkungan dan memberikan solusi pemanfaatan minyak jelantah menjadi produk baru yang mempunyai nilai ekonomis. Oleh karena itu, sebagai bentuk pengabdian kepada masyarakat dari Institut Sains dan Teknologi Nahdlatul Ulama Bali (ISTNUBA), kami mencoba mengajak masyarakat di Desa Banjar Anyar, Kediri, Kabupaten Tabanan Bali untuk dapat berpartisipasi dalam pelatihan pengolahan minyak jelantah menjadi sabun cuci batangan dan lilin aromaterapi. Metode yang digunakan adalah penyuluhan dan pembagian brosur informasi mengenai bahaya dan manfaat minyak jelantah.
