However, because of the large number of images it produces, the physicians need to spend a long time reviewing them, for the diagnosis. Therefore, Automatic computer-aided diagnosis tools are highly needed, to reduce the burden of physicians. In this paper, we present an automatic classification of different lesions in WCE images. We propose a deep learning method based on an ensemble of two pre-trained convolutional neural networks (CNN), namely MobileNet and DenseNet169. The extracted features from the entire selected architectures are concatenated and then fed into a multilayer perceptron, for the classification task. Experimental results proved that the proposed method improves the performance compared to the individual CNN classifiers.","PeriodicalId":266229,"journal":{"name":"2022 4th International Conference on Pattern Analysis and Intelligent Systems (PAIS)","volume":"77 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124402899","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

According to several studies, texture could be seen differently based on the selected scale of interest (SoI), which raises a serious problem of finding the appropriate SoI. To tackle this issue, a new scheme based on mathematical morphology and artificial neural networks (ANN) has been introduced. Firstly, the image is subjected to a series of morphological operations to extract the different SoIs. From each SoI, a set of color features are extracted and fed to two successive ANNs in order to categorize the textures. The present scheme maintains the extraction of both color and multi-scale texture information. A comprehensive experimental comparison has been conducted where the present scheme has outperformed other widely known texture and CNN-based descriptors.","PeriodicalId":266229,"journal":{"name":"2022 4th International Conference on Pattern Analysis and Intelligent Systems (PAIS)","volume":"28 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122478226","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The contribution of this sector to the economy must increase since the context requires it. Therefore, its management in Algeria represents a crucial problem because of its impact on the environment and human life. This paper presents the first extensible, scalable, agile, and incremental decision support system allowing for the preservation of this wealth in Algeria. The developed system is structured in three parts: data collection, data storage and processing and restitution of this data in a dashboard and mapping. To conclude, this system can help provide better visibility to Algerian decision-makers, allowing optimal management of this wealth with the ultimate goal of improving the lives of Algerian citizens.","PeriodicalId":266229,"journal":{"name":"2022 4th International Conference on Pattern Analysis and Intelligent Systems (PAIS)","volume":"26 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130737439","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is one of the most important tests in the field of medicine because we used it to detect all heart problems. To observe the results of this test we applied Artificial Neural Network exactly Radial-Based Functional Network (RBF) and Support Vector Machine (SVM) which belongs to supervised machine-learning approaches. These algorithms are used to predict the classification of ECG signals. Each of these techniques is exploited for classification and regression purposes. The goal is to classify the normal and abnormal beats in ECG signals with a very low error rate and good accuracy. A comparison between the value of the accuracy and roc curves acquired during this work gives us an idea about the effectiveness of each approach in the classification of heartbeats. In this work MIT-BIH Arrhythmia database is exploited.","PeriodicalId":266229,"journal":{"name":"2022 4th International Conference on Pattern Analysis and Intelligent Systems (PAIS)","volume":"70 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133126052","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Big data projects are even more complex in terms of development and they too have experienced a lot of failure. The majority of research has focused on data analysis, the decision-making process and a little less on storage. However, few works have focused on the upstream phase on which all the other development phases depend on it. Our contributions to reduce the failure rate of IT projects lie in the proposal of a requirements engineering process dedicated to the specific characteristics of big data. Particularly in this work, we propose a new method for the activity of requirements analysis for the development of big data projects.","PeriodicalId":266229,"journal":{"name":"2022 4th International Conference on Pattern Analysis and Intelligent Systems (PAIS)","volume":"25 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125743799","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The problem arises from the difficulties of landing an airship in some of these areas due to their hard nature. In this paper, we discuss, for the first time, the problem of automatically landing an airship on dangerous terrain in the Ahagar environment. Due to its effectiveness, deep Q-learning (DQL) has been employed for realizing such a task. Our proposed landing model has yielded satisfactory results in normal cases. To examine the stability of the proposed model, it has been subjected to two random forces which are wind and engine failure. The proposed model has proven stability to a certain extent after which the landing becomes dangerous. The proposed model can be employed for two tasks, the first one is the automatic landing of airships on Ahagar, and the second one is the prediction of landing outcomes in case of the presence of random forces.","PeriodicalId":266229,"journal":{"name":"2022 4th International Conference on Pattern Analysis and Intelligent Systems (PAIS)","volume":"26 4","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114010039","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
