To measure the strategy uses the typology of Miles and Snow (1978) and to measure performance using the model proposed by Quinn and Rohrbaugh (1983). For this, an empirical study on a sample of 983 MSMEs Federal District of Mexico. The results show that the strategy is an important factor for the development of MSMEs, both in times of growth and economic crisis, since it significantly influences their growth and profitability. The study is based on the panel data 2006-2010 of the World Bank Enterprise Survey. Therefore, in that study from a sample of 285 enterprises, it analyzes the antecedents of market orientation from a view point socio-structural in the manufacturing SMEs of the State of Aguascalientes. Its findings show that for every formal enterprise, there are 2.4 semi-formal ones. The latter refers to those enterprises that have already started the formalization process with the corresponding municipality but that still do not have all the formalization requirements. Owing to the importance of the semi-formal sector in the economic activity of Costa Rica, this study analyzed this business park and the role of municipal management concerning MSMEs, calculated the correlation among semi-formality, competitiveness, and development, and finally, proposed a cluster design to deal with the state of affairs. Developing four levels of competitiveness: macro level (economic environment), meso level (regional environment), Level Goal (Environment Socioeconomic) and micro Level (internal factors). Data collection was done through fieldwork and archival research. The main findings are among the major strengths of the economic environment: high level of gross domestic product, high labor productivity and fiscal autonomy, the main weaknesses: the unions and the unemployment rate; meanwhile stand between foreign investment opportunities between threats and insecurity, corruption and difficulty in business transactions. In the regional setting a positive and 1 perfect relationship between the number of economic units and per capita GDP was found. With regard to socio-cultural factors, presents lower levels of poverty and unemployment to the rest of the country. The research was conducted through a study with 94 firms of the Spanish Construction Sector. The findings show that innovation in products, processes and management has a positive influence on the performance of the company. In this sense, it is confirmed innovation as a means to gain a sustainable competitive advantage. It has been used the variables \"size of government\" of the economic freedom indices released by the Economic Freedom Network (2000-2009) and by The Heritage Foundation (2000-2011), and the variables of \"entrepreneurship\" released by the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor. Furthermore, the same analysis has been carried out grouping the countries by development level, following the classification elaborated by the World Economic Forum. Statistical analyses of correlations have shown that the “size of government” is related to entrepreneurship. The variables \"Size of Government: Expenditures, Taxes and Enterprises\" and \" Government Size” have revealed a positive correlation with the total, opportunity and necessity entrepreneurial activity indices for the economies based on efficiency and innovation, thus less taxes on income and lower government spending, increase the entrepreneurship of the country. The empirical study was conducted using a sample of 600 SMEs in the region of Murcia (Spain). The intrapreneur culture is analyzed considering the classification of Galvez and Garcia (2011). The results show that companies The results show that companies directed by women promoted greater extent than men intrapreneur characteristics of culture such as: autonomy and risk taking, teamwork, compensation and support to management.
