Wireless sensor networks have verities of applications including endangered animals monitoring, military applications like tracking positions of soldiers. Important points to be considered in this application are to secure the location of monitored objects. In presence of object sensor nodes sends event reporting messages periodically. Attackers can back track those messages to reach at source to capture the object. Different kind of techniques have been developed to protect the object from adversary like “Phantom routing”, Cyclic entrapping method (CEM) and Path extension method (PEM) which provides source location privacy in some extend but not provides 100 percent safety to the source. In this Paper a new method called Bypassing using Directional Transceivers (BDT) is introduced which performs well in case of safety, energy consumption and throughput analysis. Within a sensor network instead of using single transceiver in this new method four directional transceivers are used to provide better safety. Power supply noise (PSN) is an important issue among all the issues in today's application Specific Integrated Circuits (ASIC) design. Present trends in VLSI design are inclined towards the placement of decoupling capacitors for multi-core design. An early prediction and estimation of decoupling capacitance in the pre-layout stage of the design can provide a better scope in optimizing power, noise and delay effects for the circuit. In this paper, we investigate the change in noise and delay parameters with and without the decap allocation for multi-core circuit at the pre-layout stage. Here a 1024 point FFT core is considered as an example for our test circuits as they are quite complex in nature and are also used as custom cores in many applications. To the best of our knowledge PDN analysis for execution time and noise suppression on FFT application cores is not available in related research works. The novelty of our work lies in the fact that by using our approaches noise can be suppressed approximately by 37% on an average at the prelayout stage and 1.84% increase in increase in propagation delay when compared to the original circuitry. The need of change in radiation parameters of an antenna like frequency, polarization, radiation pattern or combination of these parameters, on board had given rise to design reconfigurable antennas. This reconfiguration on antenna is achieved by switching feed location of an antenna or switching ground or switching the radiating path of an antenna which brings change in the effective resonating length. The switching can be done by using PIN diodes, varactor diodes, optical switches and MEMS to connect/disconnect different parts on an antenna. Due to this the total antenna volume of printed reconfigurable antenna can be reused to achieve different antenna modes. The proposed algorithm works with any existing compression algorithm to provide added compression. This kind of series application of algorithm with existing algorithms provides flexibility it terms of implementation and integration with existing products. The concept proposed in this paper uses the concept of quadrature carrier multiplexing in the digital domain to compress alternate frames on quadrature digital virtual carriers to reduce the size of the video. Since the algorithm is generic it can be applied to any packets or chunks of data. Experiments were performed to quantitatively evaluate the performance of the proposed compression algorithm. The enormous numbers of sensors are redistributed for sensing as well as accumulating data from its neighborhood through routing protocol. Industrial township area yields smoke on account of burning of diesel, coal, fossil fuels etc. The leading goal of this paper is to evaluate AODV, RIP and STAR routing protocols in cloud smoke sensing in industrial township area using Qualnet 7.1 simulator with different parameters like average number of packets dropped, signals transmitted, signals detected, data packets sent, data packets queued and de-queued for CAP and average energy consumed in transmit, receive as well as idle mode. Due to this drawback, segmentation result may hamper for not selecting the cluster centroids properly. To overcome this, a modified genetic (MfGA) algorithm is proposed to improve the performance of FCM. The optimized class levels derived from the MfGA are employed as initial input to FCM for finding global optimal solutions in a large search space. However social interactions are also governed by relationships existing between the various nodes. The role of relationship specific attributes on categorical influence prediction in a social network forms the basis of the presented work. This paper proposes a two phased collaborative model for predicting spread of influence in a social network by utilizing multiple relationship specific parameters. The initial phase identifies and visualizes the varied opinions based on relationships in a network which are then quantified through a distinct measure, the opinion metric, in the second phase. The metric takes in consideration the opinion and page rank centrality of respective nodes to generate the strength of node's negative influence factor. A high value is indicative of higher probability of spreading maximum negative influence. An experimental study on a sample network of ten nodes is conducted using Gephi, a social network analysis software. Using the opinion metric, the node capable of spreading the maximum negative influence in the network was identified. This number increases day by day due to unawareness of the people, lack of confidence about medical treatment, improper screening, maltreatment and lack of motivation to go for institutional treatment and management. The most common form of detection mechanism for breast cancer available to the mass people is mammography, however, several risks, such as direct exposure of radiation are associated with it. Mammography tests are also quite expensive which cannot be readily availed by the mass population of the country. Electrical Bio-impedance (EBI) analysis can be used in breast cancer detection and screening. When EBI measurements are taken at various frequency points it is called Electrical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS) which can be used as a locally available and cheap screening tool for breast cancer detection. This paper uses an established model of a biological tissue to study the effectiveness of an EIS device that can be constructed with simple electrical components available locally. The impedance and phase angles of both models of normal tissue and cancerous tissue were measured and compared with a known reference. Classifiers provide poor performance when such dataset are feed into it for categorization due to their high dimension. The most important attributes are extracted from the dataset prior to classification for efficient classifier design. It is also true that there may be many classifiers of a particular system, some provide better accuracy than others but selection of single classifier with all its optimized parameters is always not a good choice for various real world applications. The paper proposes a novel method for construction of an ensemble classifier by combining multiple classifiers obtained using Rough Set Theory and Genetic algorithm. The method selects the classifiers for integration based on accuracy and develops an efficient and effective ensemble classification system. In the first phase of the work, rule based classifiers termed as base classifiers are constructed from the reduced information sub systems obtained using Rough Set Theory, where a set of high quality rules are generated for each sub system. In the second phase, base classifiers are combined and an optimal ensemble classification system is developed using Genetic Algorithm. Here, ensemble classifier takes an important role to discover the class labels of the test objects with higher accuracy.
