Character education will grow well if it starts with instilling a good Islamic soul. Islamic education learning has started in elementary Centers, through Islamic education learning a student is taught aqidah as the basis of religion. Learning at the Al-Quran Education Center provides a lot of strengthening of children's character and understanding of religion which can be a provision for life in the future. The Al-Quran Education Center is a level of education for children which is held in order to develop the personality and knowledge of children as well as education to read the Al-Qur'an. The development of TPA began in the 1990s with the discovery of various methods of reading the Qur'an and Iqro. He tried to confirm and explain religion through pure reasoning and observation. The portrait of the philosopher represented by Al-Kindî, considers the text as symbolic or encrypted and acts on the basis of its etymological meaning within the limits of language. Al-Kindî translated the Qur'anic verse \"the same Who produced for you fire from a green tree\" (Qur'an 36/80) under the principle of light \"contrast is made of contrasts\" introduced in the time of Plato and Aristotle. He mentions that every being is made of something of itself and insists that every thing has come into existence from non-existence (ex-nihilio). In this article, Yaqub Ibn Ishaq Al Al-Kindî's views on religion and the interpretation of religious texts will be analyzed in detail. Al-Kindî's different philosophical methods reflect his understanding of religion. In this article, we aim to explain his views on religion, language, meaning and comments regarding Al Kindi. Thus, parents as educators are obliged to form Islamic personalities in children from an early age, especially when children are 7-12 years old. In general, children at this age really like to play and often meet with other important activities. In addition, this age is also known as the ripe period for learning. So that parents can use it to instill religious behavior in children. \u0000From this background, the author examines what are the patterns of family communication in shaping the personality of Islamic children in Sinar Harapan Village, Rajabasa Jaya Village, Bandar Lampung City? and what are the effects of family communication on the child's Islamic personality?. This study aims to explain the communication pattern of the child's family in shaping the Islamic personality and explain the effect of family communication on the child's Islamic personality. This research is a type of research that collects data from the field, which is descriptive qualitative. In taking the sample, the researcher used a purposive sampling technique, namely taking samples with certain criteria. Data collection tools used in this study were interviews, observation and documentation. \u0000As for the findings in this study, families in Sinar Harapan Village use a communication pattern in the form of dyadic interpersonal communication which in the communication process uses a two-way communication model, and gets direct responses that are positive or negative. dyadic interpersonal relationships are carried out by means of hiwar, stories, examples, habituation, tarhib, advice and punishment. Berdasarkan hasil persurvey yang dilakukan oleh peneliti di SDN 06 Metro Utara diperoleh data disetiap kelas belum ada ruang pojok baca, sehingga kebiasaan membaca 15 menit sebelum/sesudah selesai pembelajaran tidak dilakukan. Literasi sangat penting bagi individu serta mendukung kemajuan suatu negara dalam berbagai bidang, seperti ekonomi, sosial, ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SDN 06 Metro Utara menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan alat pengumpul data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwasanya setelah diberikan pengertian tentang pentingnya kegiatan literasi, seperti tempat pojok baca di kelas, melakukan pembiasaan membaca sebelum/sesudah membaca sudah dilaksanakan khususnya di kelas V SDN 06 Metro Utara. Selain itu, buku yang dibaca oleh peserta didik ditulis judul, pengarang serta membuat catatan terkait apa yang telah dibaca. Kegiatan literasi harus terus digalakkan mengingat salah satu tolak ukur keberhasilan pendidikan adalah banyaknya anak yang gemar membaca. Kegiatan pembelajaran IPS berbasis literasi terbukti memberikan peningkatan pada ketarampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik.
