Furthermore, the emergence of the coronavirus has enhanced contactless payment awareness in numerous nations, including Malaysia. Even though e-wallet usage in Malaysia has drastically increased, however, it is realised that the transaction volume of e-wallet is still not so desirable as compared to online banking. Hence, the main objective of this research is to investigate the e-wallet usage continuance intention among consumers in Malaysia. This research has adopted the Modified Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology 2 (UTAUT2) model to explain the continuance intention of E-wallet use. A minimum of 160 target respondents will be interviewed by a set of questionnaires via Google Form. The data collected were then keyed into the SPSS software and further analysed by using the Smart PLS software. The analysis result revealed that five factors which are performance expectancy, facilitating conditions, habit, hedonic motivation and trust, were found to have significant relationship to influence customer continuance intention of E-wallet use. It can be concluded that facilitating conditions and performance expectancy have shown as the most influential factor with significant positive effects in affecting the customer continuance intention of E-wallet use. In conclusion, all these findings emphasise the critical role by providing an insight to the e-wallet providers, e-wallet system developers, and future researchers with new ideas and suggestions for business innovation models regarding the perspectives of customer continuance intention towards the e-wallet services.","PeriodicalId":253813,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Business and Technology Management","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126092104","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Enterprise risk management is particularly important for this emerging Bay Area. On the basis of predecessors, this study empirically analyses the enterprise risk management of 708 listed companies in China's GBA. Through data processing and literature search, this paper focuses on the influence of the drive for executive support, research and development expenditure and knowledge integration capability of employees on ERM. In factor analysis, the principal component factor is used to reduce the dimension of many factors, and then regression analysis is used to model and analyse the relationship between variables. Through the use of SPSS analysis software, combined with factor analysis and regression analysis, it can be concluded that there is a positive correlation between enterprise risk management and the three influencing factors, which have a significant impact on ERM. Therefore, the attitude of senior executives to actively support and explore ERM, the experience and education of employees, and the expenditure of enterprise research and development expenses are all the exposure of enterprise risk. In order to keep the sum of exposure within the sustainable risk appetite of the enterprise, it is important to pay attention to the trends and strategic plans of these indicators. It is hoped that this will provide value for enterprises to continuously improve their own risk management system.","PeriodicalId":253813,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Business and Technology Management","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123864745","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Besides that, it is also noteworthy to understand that two important theories underlie the integration towards achieving the objectives of developing the blockchain technology for smart agriculture are the Grounded Theory and will conceptualise the Technology-Organisation-Environment (TOE) Theory. This study employs a qualitative approach because it can extract the complex description of the blockchain technology towards smart agriculture that involves various agriculture sector stakeholders. Semi-structured in-depth interviews will be conducted in six states: Perlis, Kedah, Selangor, Negeri Sembilan, Pahang and Sarawak as part of the research to get a more in-depth understanding of the profiles and better understanding on the challenges created by blockchain technology to the agriculture stakeholders. Drawing on the high value of smart agriculture principles, this study reconciles a comprehensive blockchain technology model and draw connections with the challenges faced by various stakeholders. This study expands knowledge on blockchain technology in supporting smart agriculture by looking into the blockchain technology attributes in terms of traceability, visibility, security and accessibility, as well as the challenges created by blockchain technology to the agriculture stakeholders. This study output will boost the modernisation process in the agriculture sector, managing the demand and supply of national food and agriculture supply. The underlying trend of agricultural research is discovered to be primarily embedded in scientific investigations from technologies’ perspectives. Researching in smart agriculture is crucial but remains scanty due to the challenges facing at the different levels in the supply chain. As such, the novelty fits within this research model are unavailable to the researchers’ best knowledge.","PeriodicalId":253813,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Business and Technology Management","volume":"218 ","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114004146","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study employs the content analysis method and examines the degree of governance, accountability, and transparency across 45 CLBG Foundations in Malaysia to further explore corporate governance. The two key criteria used to choose the sample were the foundations incorporated as a company limited by guarantee (CLBG) with the CCM and those that are subsidiaries of the parent company listed on the Bursa Malaysia. Analysis shows that most of the CLBG Foundations did not have their own websites and did not publish annual reports. Malaysian CLBG Foundations were found to still have low accountability, transparency, and governance, which supports the need for a law requiring NPOs, specifically CLBG Foundations, to disclose information about themselves to enhance their governance, accountability, and transparency. More stringent regulations will enhance the foundations' governance, accountability and transparency, and boost stakeholder confidence to continue their support and donations. The government should also design a good governance code suitable for the adoption of all Malaysian NPOs in Malaysia. We also recommend the creation of a single regulatory body responsible for monitoring the operations and activities of all NPOs in the country.","PeriodicalId":253813,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Business and Technology Management","volume":"218 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116251039","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The survey was created in Google forms and distributed via purposive sampling through social media platforms. Target respondents are generations Y and Z consumers with experience purchasing health supplements online. Data collection was carried out in December 2020, and 200 valid respondents gave feedback to the survey. Based on data analysed using Smart-PLS, health awareness, perceived value, new normal and social influence positively affect online purchase intention and account for 60.5% of its variation. New normal is the most significant predictor, followed by perceived value, health consciousness, and social influence based on the effect size and standard beta value. There are scarce past studies that combine online purchase intentions and health supplements. Furthermore, consumers' behaviour and perception toward certain products will likely change during a crisis. Concerning this ground, this study appears to be the first to explore how the current pandemic has impacted and shaped consumers' willingness to purchase health supplements online in the Malaysian context. It explicitly considers new normal as one of the predictors on top of health consciousness, perceived value, and social influence.","PeriodicalId":253813,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Business and Technology Management","volume":"38 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130548314","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Thus, manufacturing industry internationally have been pursuing the paradigm shift and attempting to implement Industry 4.0 Digital Technologies into their respective organizations. However, albeit the fact that Industry 4.0 had promised substantial improvement to manufacturing system and processes, the correlation and influence of Industry 4.0 Digital Technologies upon Business Performance are still ambivalent as there are insufficient empirical data and studies to support the implementation and lots of challenges were met during the process of implementation. Therefore, the paper aims to provide empirical evidence collected from manufacturing firms in Malaysia via questionnaire to bridge the literature gap by identifying the correlation concerning Industry 4.0 Digital Technologies and Business Performance with Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM) method to model their correlation. Accordingly, 124 responses were gathered, and results implied that Industry 4.0 Digital Technologies are directly positive correlated with Business Performance. In other words, manufacturing firms intending on achieving high excellence in Business Performance, Industry 4.0 Digital Technologies will be the impeccable solution.","PeriodicalId":253813,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Business and Technology Management","volume":"102 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131458350","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
