The capacity of farmers to manage environmentally friendly paddy rice is closely related to individual behavior towards technological innovations that are applied and disseminated. This study aims to determine the productivity of paddy rice with an environmentally friendly management approach. The research was conducted in Merauke Regency, Papua Province, from July to November 2018 during the gadu planting season (MT II). The design used was a factorial Randomized Block Design (RBD) with 4 child factors, each variety used was Bawor 9, Black Madras, M70, Sertani 8. The results showed that the treatment of four varieties differed on plant height, number of tillers , panicle length, weight 1000 Grains, harvest grain weight, grain dry grain weight, empty grain amount, rice grain amount and heavy stover. \u0000Keywords: Management, Paddy rice, Environmental friendly \u0000Sebagian besar petani padi sawah belum memberikan respon yang tepat atas inovasi pengelolaan sawah yang ramah lingkungan, karena kemampuan atau kapasitas yang dimiliki petani belum mampu mendukung dalam menghasilkan produk-produk usahatani yang ramah lingkungan dan berkelanjutan. Kapasitas petani dalam mengelola padi sawah ramah lingkungan berhubungan erat dengan perilaku individu terhadap inovasi teknologi yang diterapkan dan didesiminasikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui produktivitas padi sawah dengan pendekatan pengelolaan ramah lingkungan. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Kabupaten Merauke Provinsi Papua sejak bulan Juli sampai Nopember 2018 pada musim tanam gadu (MT II). Rancangan yang digunakan yaitu Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) satu faktorial dengan 4 anak faktor, masing-masing varietas yang digunakan yaitu Bawor 9, Black Madras, M70, Sertani 8. Nutrients contained in plants in the form of secondary compounds also determine whether or not plants were selected by insects. The objective of the research was to study the preferences of Henosepilachna sparsa herbivorous insects on several cultivated plants. The study was conducted in October 2013 at the Toxicology Laboratory, Department of Plant Protection, Faculty of Agriculture, Bogor Agricultural University. The steps of the experiments were: a) Extracting plant materials such as takokak, eggplant, tomatoes, and broccoli using hexane and methanol solvents; and b) imago H. sparsa preference of plant was takokak plant extract with methanol solvent, takokak plant material with Hexane solvent, tomato plant with Methanol solvent, tomato plant material with Hexane solvent, eggplant plant material with Methanol solvent, eggplant material with Hexane solvent, broccoli with Methanol solvent), broccoli plant material with Hexane solvent was carried out using a three-branched olfactometer (Y form). Imago H. sparsa of plant extract was taken from around the taro plant in Bogor. The results of the study show that the imago H. sparsa insect preference test for extraction of test plants using hexane solvents was better than methanol solvents. Extraction of eggplant plants with hexane solvents has the highest retention value (Rf) of 0.751 cm with the assumption that the higher the Rf value, the more metabolites are detected. \u0000Keywords: allelochemics, attractants, broccoli, eggplant, repellent, tomatoes, takokak \u0000  \u0000ABSTRAK \u0000Serangga herbivora dan tanaman memiliki hubungan interaksi yang sangat kompleks, dimana tanaman mempunyai peran yang penting dalam membentuk perilaku dan perkembangan serangga herbivora. Nutrisi yang dikandung tanaman berupa senyawa sekunder juga menentukan dipilih atau tidak dipilih suatu tanaman oleh serangga. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mempelajari preferensi serangga herbivora Henosepilachna sparsa pada beberapa tanaman budidaya. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Oktober 2013 di Laboratorium Toksikologi, Departemen Proteksi Tanaman Fakultas Pertanian, Institut Pertanian Bogor. Tahapan penelitian meliputi: a) Ekstraksi bahan-bahan tanaman seperti takokak, terung, tomat, dan brokoli dengan menggunakan pelarut heksana dan metanol; dan b) Preferensi imago H. The research was aimed to provide recommendations for upland rice-based cropping pattern technology in dryland agroecosystems in Maluku that would be able to increase land productivity > 1.00 (MCI = Multiple Cropping Index > 100%) compared to existing cropping patterns. The study used a Randomized Block Design (RCBD) with four treatments and repeated five times (farmers as replications). Four treatments for upland rice-based planting pattern technology assemblies, namely: 1) Pattern-A (Farmer A Pattern); 2) Pattern-B (Farmer B Planting Pattern B); 3) Pattern C (Farmer Improvement Cropping Pattern); and 4) Pattern D (Introduced Plant Pattern). The results showed that upland rice was planted double (multiple cropping) through intercropping and/or sequential cropping, namely Improved Cropping Patterns (Pattern C = Upland Rice + Corn - Peanuts) and Introducing Cropping Patterns (Pattern D = Upland Rice + Corn/Cassava - Green Beans - Peanuts) can increase land productivity with a double-cropping index 1.35 - 1.80 (IPG = 135% - 180%) compared to upland rice grown in monoculture (Farming Patterns). Multiple cropping (Upland Rice + Corn/Cassava - Green Beans - Peanuts) can be recommended as Upland Rice-Based Planting Technology Package on dry land in Maluku, because it can increase land productivity> 1.00 with an MCI (Multiple Cropping Index) of 180%. \u0000Keywords: dry land, performance, upland rice \u0000  \u0000ABSTRAK \u0000Pola Tanam berbasis padi gogo merupakan bentuk pola bertanam ganda meliputi tumpangsari, tumpang gilir (runtun) dan tanaman sisipan dimana padi gogo sebagai komoditi pokok (base crop) yang bisa didahului dan atau digilir dengan tanaman pangan lainnya sebagai komoditi ikutan (secondary crop). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatan rekomendasi paket teknologi pola tanam berbasis padi gogo pada agroekosistem lahan kering di Maluku yang mampu meningkatan produktivitas lahan > 1.00 (IPG = Indeks Pertanaman Ganda >100 %) dibandingkan dengan pola tanam petani eksisting. The method used in this research was survey method. Distance observation was free survey, by using identification observation type (boring), and pit profile. Based on the actual land suitability assessment, it was known that in the research location there were several characteristic and quality factors of the land that became the limiting factors on the growth of peanut crops, i.e: rainfall factor during growth period (wa), effective depth (r), C-organic (nr), slope (s). Based on the land area improvement action for peanut crops were in the S2 and S3 classes. The recommended land units for peanut plants were: for class S2: L0a1D, L0a3A, L0a3B, L0a3C, L0a3D, L1a1D, L1a3B, L2a1D, L2a3B with area 1942,13 ha or 36.1 percent and S3: L0a2E, L1a2E, L2a2E covering an area of 219.12 ha or 4.1 percent. \u0000Keywords: evaluation of land suitability, peanuts, Werwaru Moa Island \u0000  \u0000ABSTRAK \u0000Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan factor-faktor pembatas untuk tanaman kacang tanah yang terdapat di lapangan dan menetapkan kelas kesesuaian lahan untuk tanaman kacang tanah di desa Werwaru Kecamatan Pulau Moa Kabupaten Maluku Barat Daya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survey. Jarak observasi yang digunakan adalah free survey, dengan menggunakan tipe pengamatan identifikasi (boring), dan profil pit. Berdasarkan hasil penilaiaan kesesuaian lahan aktual diketahui bahwa pada lokasi penelitian terdapat beberapa faktor karakteristik dan kualitas lahan yang menjadi faktor pembatas terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman kacang tanah yakni: faktor curah hujan pada masa pertumbuhan (wa), kedalaman efektif (r), C-organik (nr), Kemiringan lereng (s). Berdasarkan tindakan perbaikan satuan lahan yang direkomendasikan untuk tanaman kacang tanah yaitu pada kelas S2 dan kelas S3. Some of the most important nutrients in the soil include nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium. However, regosol soil cannot provide enough nutrients and water. The objectives of this study include: 1) comparing the volume of water given with a frequency of 1, 2 or 3 days for NPK nutrient availability on regosol soils; 2) determining the amount of NPK nutrients available after 30 days of incubation by giving different compost doses; 3) determining the interaction between the frequency of water supply and decomposition of organic matter in providing NPK nutrients to regosol soils. This study used a completely randomized design method with a 3 × 3 factorial pattern with 3 replications, therefore there were 27 experimental units. Data analysis of the observed variables was done using variance analysis with SAS program ver 9.0 and if there was a real treatment effect followed by a different test between treatments using BNT (5%). Compost applied to the soil was done, this was indicated by a low C / N value of 14.3 and in accordance with the SNI value standards of 10-20. The results of the study showed that the application of water and organic matter independently has a significant effect on the N content, P, and K in the ground. Whereas, the interaction between the two treatments of water frequency application and organic matter had no significant effect on the levels of N, P, and K in the soil. The conclusion of this study, with the application of water once every 3 days and the treatment of 300g/pot organic matter (B2) was best to provide the highest Ntotal value (0.53%), P available (17, 50 mg/kg), and Kexch (2.03 me/100g). \u0000Keywords: compost, frequency of water supply, regosol \u0000  \u0000ABSTRAK \u0000Tanah yang baik memiliki kandungan hara yang cukup bagi tanaman. Beberapa unsur hara yang terpenting dalam tanah antara lain ialah nitrogen, fosfor dan kalium. Tetapi tanah regosol tidak dapat menyediakan unsur hara dan air dengan cukup. Tujuan dari penelitian ini antara lain: 1) membandingkan volume air yang diberikan dengan frekwensi 1, 2 atau 3 hari sekali untuk ketersediaan hara NPK pada tanah regosol; 2) menetapkan banyaknya unsur hara NPK tersedia setelah 30 hari inkubasi dengan pemberian dosis kompos yang berbeda; dan 3) mengetahui interaksi antara frekwensi pemberian air dan dekomposisi bahan organik dalam menyediakan hara NPK pada tanah regosol. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Rancangan Acak Lengkap dengan pola faktorial 3 × 3 dengan 3 ulangan sehingga terdapat 27 satuan percobaan. Analisis data dari variabel yang diamati menggunakan analisis ragam dengan program SAS ver 9.0 dan jika terdapat pengaruh perlakuan yang nyata dilanjutkan dengan uji beda antar perlakuan menggunakan BNT (5%). Analisis Bahan Pencemar Dominan Di Muara Way Tomu Dan Muara Way Lela Wilayah Pesisir Kota Ambon

Siregar","doi":"10.30598/jbdp.2018.14.2.55","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.30598/jbdp.2018.14.2.55","url":null,"abstract":"The aims of this research are to find the dominant pollutants in estuarine of Way Tomu and Way Lela, determine the water quality in the estuary Way Tomu and Way Lela, and comparing the effects of the density of settlement on water quality of estuary Way Tomu and Way Lela. The research was conducted in October until November 2015. The method used was survey method with variables the physical parameters (Total Dissolved Solid, Total Suspended Solid, temperature), chemicals parameter (detergents, nitrate, nitrite, pH, BOD, COD, DO, amonia, phosphate, iron, oil and fat, manganese, coopper) and biology parameter (E. coli) class II. The result showed that the dominant chemicals parameter and affect water quality in the Way Tomu is Detergent (746 mg/L), while for the Way Lela estuary are detergent (835 mg/L), phosphate (0,4631 mg/L), and dissolved oxygen (3,2 mg/L), and biological parameters i.e., E. coli. These values have exceeded the value of the quality standard of the water quality is appropriate Government Regulation Number 82 the Year 2001 about Water Quality Management and Control of Water Pollution Classes II. It is thought to be due to the behavior of the people who live the area of the riverbanks of Way Lela and Way Tomu that their household trash into the river. For that is a need for the attention of the Government and local communities to improve the quality of the river water in the Way Tomu and Way Lela with improving the environment-friendly behavior. \u0000Keywords: pollutants, pollution estuary, way Tomu, way Lela \u0000  \u0000ABSTRAK \u0000Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menemukan polutan yang dominan di muara Way Tomu dan Way Lela; menentukan kualitas air di muara Way Tomu dan Way Lela; serta membandingkan efek dari kepadatan pemukiman terhadap kualitas air muara Way Tomu dan Way Lela. Penelitian ini telah dilakukan pada bulan Oktober sampai November 2015. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode survei dengan variabel penelitian berupa parameter fisik (Total Dissolved Solid, Total Suspended Solid, suhu), parameter kimia (deterjen, nitrat, nitrit, pH, BOD, COD, DO, amonia, fosfat, besi, minyak, dan lemak, mangan, tembaga) dan parameter biologi (E. coli) kelas II. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa parameter kimia yang dominan dan mempengaruhi kualitas air di muara Way Tomu adalah Deterjen (746 mg/L) sedangkan untuk muara Way Lela adalah Deterjen (835 mg/L), Fosfat (0,4631 mg/L), dan Oksigen terlarut (3,2 mg/L), serta parameter biologi yaitu E. coli. The objectives of the study were 1) to determine the limiting factors of land suitability classes of the upland food crops land-use types, and 2) to establish the land suitability classes of the upland food crops land-use types. The study method was surveyed with a synthetic approach and filed data collection was conducted using distanced-flexible observation. The study shows that there are two land sutability classes on the Wae Batu Merah, namely marginal (S3) land sutability class covered area of 116,93 ha or 17,06% and not-suitable (N) land suitability class covered area of 568,21 ha or 82,94%, while there are seven limiting factors, namely effective soil depth, soil texture, soil drainage, slope steepness, soil pH, soil erodibility. The application of terracing, mulching and contour planting are recommended to reduce the effect of slope steepness and soil erodibility. \u0000Keywords: Ambon city, land suitability class, wae batu merah watershed \u0000  \u0000ABSTRAK \u0000Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di DAS Wae Batu Merah Kota Ambon Provinsi Maluku pada bulan Juli sampai Oktober 2016 dengan luas lokasi penelitian 685,14 ha. Penelitian ini dilaksankan dengan tujuan : 1) Menetapkan faktor-faktor pembatas tingkat kesesuaian lahan untuk tipe penggunaan lahan tanaman pangan lahan kering di DAS Wae Batu Merah Kota Ambon, 2) Menetapkan kesesuaian lahan untuk tipe penggunaan lahan tanaman pangan lahan kering di DAS Wae Batu Merah Kota Ambon, Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survey dengan pola pendekatan sintetik dan jarak observasi fleksibel mengikuti perubahan bentuk fisiografi dan penggunaan lahan. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan lapangan dengan evaluasi lahan, hasil yang di temukan adalah: 1) terdapat 2 kelas kesesuaian lahan pada Das Wae Batu Merah yaitu, kelas kesesuaian lahan S3 terdapat pada area seluas 116.93 Ha atau 17.06%, dan kelas kesesuaian N terdapat pada area seluas 568.21 Ha atau 82.94%, 2) Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi lahan maka terdapat 7 faktor pembatas yaitu kedalaman efektif, tekstur tanah, drainase, kemiringan lereng, pH tanah, erodibilitas, zona agroklimat. Endophytic bacteria are bacteria that live in plant tissues and colonize the intercellular and vascular systems. This study aims to obtain endophytic bacterial isolates from parts of the roots, stems, and leaves of sago plants which have the potential as agents for plant growth promoting bacteria. Endophytic bacteria are isolated from the roots, stems, and leaves. Based on the results of isolation, 21 isolates of endophytic bacteria were found. Then, the selection is done by hypersensitivity test and gram reaction test. The results of the selection obtained 20 isolates of endophytic bacteria that were not pathogenic. After that, it was followed by plant growth promoting test for endophytic bacterial isolates. The test results were obtained three isolates potentially as plant growth promoter that is STA1, STA6, and STA11. \u0000Keywords: endophytic bacteria, plant growth promoting, sago \u0000  \u0000ABSTRAK \u0000Tanaman sagu merupakan tanaman pokok masyarakat Maluku dan Papua, yang memiliki banyak manfaat dan keunggulan untuk terus dikembangkan. Bakteri endofit adalah bakteri yang hidup di dalam jaringan tanaman dan berkoloni pada daerah ruang interseluler dan sistem vascular. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan isolat bakteri endofit dari bagian akar,batang dan daun tanaman sagu yang berpotensi sebagai agens pemacu pertumbuhan tanaman. Bakteri endofit diisolasi dari bagian akar, batang, dan daun. Berdasarkan hasil isolasi yang telah dilakukan didapati 21 isolat bakteri endofit. Kemudian seleksi dilakukan dengan uji hipersensitif dan uji reaksi gram. Hasil seleksi diperoleh 20 isolat bakteri endofit yang bukan patogen. Setelah itu dilanjutkan dengan uji pemacu pertumbuhan tanaman terhadap isolat bakteri endofit. The study was conducted at the Ambon Plant Crops Protection and Protection Center laboratory. The study used a factorial completely randomized design with two types of factors and three replications. The storage media consists of 3 levels, namely: Without the storage media, the media for storing rice husk and the media for storing sawdust. The second factor is the storage period consists of 4 levels, namely: 10 days storage, 20 days storage, 30 days storage and 40 days storage. The parameters measured were germination power, germination rate, and vigor index. Storage media and storage period significantly affected germination and vigor indexes but did not significantly affect germination rates. The results showed that the sawdust storage media was a good medium for storing clove seeds (Syzygium aromaticum L.). This can be seen in the results of the average germination of clove seeds stored in powder storage media with a storage time of 10 days giving better results of 85% compared to rice husks at a storage time of 10 days with a germination percentage of 65%.  \u0000Keywords: clove seeds, save media, save period \u0000  \u0000ABSTRAK \u0000Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh media dan periode simpan terhadap viabilitas benih cengkeh. Penelitian dilaksanakan di laboratorium Balai Besar Perbenihan dan Proteksi Tanaman Perkebunan Ambon. Penelitian menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap pola faktorial dengan dua macam faktor dan tiga kali ulangan. Media simpan terdiri dari 3 taraf yaitu: Tanpa media simpan, media simpan sekam padi dan media simpan serbuk gergaji. Faktor kedua adalah periode simpan terdiri dari 4 taraf yaitu: penyimpanan 10 hari, penyimpanan 20 hari, penyimpanan 30 hari dan penyimpanan 40 hari. Parameter yang diukur adalah daya berkecambah, laju perkecambahan dan indeks vigor. Media simpan dan periode penyimpanan berpengaruh nyata pada persentase perkecambahan dan indeks vigor tetapi tidak berpengaruh nyata pada laju perkecambahan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa media simpan serbuk gergaji merupakan media yang baik bagi penyimpanan benih cengkeh (Syzygium aromaticum L.). This research was carried out in Wae Ruhu Watershed, Sirimau Subdistrict, Ambon City in August - September 2018. This research was divided into three stages, namely the research preparation stage which included secondary data collection, making land unit maps, fieldwork maps, flood hazard maps. The field research phase includes observing and verifying flood parameters, verifying the extent of flood vulnerability, observing position, density, building construction, and data analysis and reporting stages that produce flood hazard maps and maps of flood-prone residential areas. The results showed that the high vulnerability had an area of ​​60 ha or 3.68%, the medium vulnerability level was 1096 ha or 67.28% and the low vulnerability level was 473 ha or 29.04%. The results of the study also obtained the position of settlements already in the river border even on the banks of the river, the density of settlements were divided into two, namely: 1) densely populated class settlements (99.6%); and 2) infrequent density class settlements (30.5%), and permanent settlement construction , multilevel and not terraced. \u0000Keywords: flood, settlement, vulnerability \u0000  \u0000ABSTRAK \u0000Penelitian ini bertujuan memetakan tingkat kerawanan banjir dan sebarannya di DAS Wae Ruhu, mengevaluasi wilayah permukiman yang berada pada tingkat kerawanan banjir yang berbeda di DAS Wae Ruhu. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada DAS Wae Ruhu Kecamatan Sirimau Kota Ambon pada bulan Agustus – September 2018. Penelitian ini terbagi menjadi tiga tahap yakni tahap persiapan penelitian yang meliputi pengumpulan data sekunder, pembuatan peta satuan lahan, peta kerja lapangan, peta kerawanan banjir. Tahap penelitian lapangan yang meliputi pengamatan dan verifikasi parameter banjir, verifikasi batas tingkat kerawanan banjir, pengamatan posisi, kepadatan, kostruksi bangunan serta tahap analisis data dan pelaporan yang menghasilkan peta tingkat kerawanan banjir dan peta wilayah permukiman rawan banjir. Hasil penelitian diperoleh tingkat kerawanan tinggi memiliki luas 60 ha atau 3,68%, tingkat kerawanan sedang memiliki luas 1096 ha atau 67,28% dan tingkat kerawanan rendah memiliki luas 473 ha atau 29,04%.
