It is a visible service that requires surmountable expenditures while ensuring that clients are satisfied with the service. As outlined in the paper, static route optimization is implemented by adopting the traveling salesman problem to enhance the development of a cost-effective route. The study takes a case of the Al Awali district, Mecca City and attempts to establish the best outlay of the waste collection vehicle movement to optimize their operational route besides ensuring that customers are assured the quality of service. The study focused on utilizing the static route optimization with the traveling salesman problem, which was solved through the incorporation of the Hamiltonian path and the Nearest Neighbor algorithm. Finally, it became clear that an optimized route is achievable with a concerted approach to an examination of various routes by performing several trials to trace out a cost-effective route that serves all clients efficiently.","PeriodicalId":253361,"journal":{"name":"2020 IEEE 6th International Conference on Optimization and Applications (ICOA)","volume":"31 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-04-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122401338","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This method can reduce the total length of cable which has a direct impact on the electrical power losses. The cost of the electrical system is estimated between 15–30% of the total investment costs. By optimizing the substation location, these high costs can be avoided even in the design phase of the wind farm. The optimization methods are tested on a regular as well as an irregular wind farm. In order to check the reliability of the optimization methods, two real existing onshore and offshore wind farms are used. The results of the proposed optimization show that the optimization of the substation location is an effective way to design the wind farm layout with low cost.","PeriodicalId":253361,"journal":{"name":"2020 IEEE 6th International Conference on Optimization and Applications (ICOA)","volume":"36 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-04-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122568899","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The main factor that causes the gears system failure is the bending stress and contact stress. This paper is about studying the effect of the Profile Shift Factor x on the bending stress generated on the root of the spur gear teeth pair, to minimize the stress and optimize the design. Three cases of Profile Shift Factor are chosen in this work, $mathrm{x}=0, mathrm{x}=0.1$, and $mathrm{x}=0.2$. The theoretical results of bending stress are calculated using ISO standard equation according to the LEWIS theory and confirmed by Finite Element Method (EFM) with ANSYS Workbench software. The three geometry models are generated on Solidworks.","PeriodicalId":253361,"journal":{"name":"2020 IEEE 6th International Conference on Optimization and Applications (ICOA)","volume":"75 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-04-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116845992","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This material has been synthesized using flash autocombustion method. The as-prepared sample was calcined at different temperatures such as 450, 650 and 850°C for 2 hours. To investigate the structural, morphological and magnetic properties, the X-ray diffraction technique, scanning electron microscopy and Müssbauer spectrometry were employed. Indeed, X-ray diffraction results reveal that the annealing samples exhibit a cubic spinel structure with space group Fd-Sm- In addition, they do not exhibit any secondary peaks which confirms the formation of single phase, which is cobalt ferrite spinel (i.e. CoFe204). The sample annealed at 850°C shows fine and intense peaks reflecting a good crystallinity of the sample. Otherwise, the scanning electron microscope observations indicate an irregularity of grains shape while the X-ray microanalysis spectra confirm the presence of only Co, Fe and O ions signature of the purity and homogeneity of our samples. On other hand, the 57Fe Mössbauer spectra measured at room temperature present a Zeeman patterns, which are fitted with different components reflecting the ferrimagnetic behavior of the samples. Mössbauer hyperfine parameters were also calculated for each annealed temperature. 850°C is the optimal annealing temperature to obtain spinel ferrite with good crystallinity and hyperfine field of 474.4 kOe.","PeriodicalId":253361,"journal":{"name":"2020 IEEE 6th International Conference on Optimization and Applications (ICOA)","volume":"227 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-04-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114856524","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Munro (C.C.M) fishery model, [1], where the dynamic is the evolution of both stock and capital controlled by the investment and the part of the capital dedicated to the harvest. The contribution of the present work consists of substituting the profit maximization objective to a more of a sustainability approach that could be seen as constraints on the states, which corresponds more to the concerns of decision makers and legal authorities. In this new formulation, we give conditions on the parameters of the model which guarentee the non-emptiness of the viability kernel, that means the determination of the biggest set of intial conditions on which an investment and exploitaion sustainable policies could be defined. At the center of this result, we find the viability theory introducted by Aubin [2], which consist of studying the existence of controls yielding admissible states. Thus, we build the viability kernel corresponding to the studied model, under the conditions cited above.","PeriodicalId":253361,"journal":{"name":"2020 IEEE 6th International Conference on Optimization and Applications (ICOA)","volume":"42 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-04-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116430504","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It aims to establish the gap among the actual situation and the objectives desired, then identify the most effective levers of action. This article introduces a new HOFs maturity model, developed through the five key factors essential to human performance. Seen that the factors do not have a similar impact, and in order to deal with uncertainty and imprecision of deciders' information, the methodology suggested is based on the combination of the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and the Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation Method (FCEM). The proposed maturity model is implemented to assess the actual state of a multinational company in construction industry during the execution of a project in Morocco.","PeriodicalId":253361,"journal":{"name":"2020 IEEE 6th International Conference on Optimization and Applications (ICOA)","volume":"2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-04-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128397351","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This solution is a traditional solution that divides the input image into a number of data blocks. Each block is treated independently to another following the same steps of estimation than the standard approach before dividing follows. The treatement of these blocks is sequentially. After the treatement of all blocks, we combine the result blocks to build the image result of segmentation. We compare our approach with the initial approach in term of complexity, segmentation quality and execution time. From the values of evaluated measures, we can confirm that our proposition provides the same results of segmentation than the initial approach but, our solution reduces the real execution time before dividing approximately by 40%.","PeriodicalId":253361,"journal":{"name":"2020 IEEE 6th International Conference on Optimization and Applications (ICOA)","volume":"2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-04-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133871355","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
