This research uses a quantitative approach to the type of descriptive-correlational quantitative research. Collecting data this study used a questionnaire or a questionnaire distributed to students as many as 364 students, which has been divided into 12 Vocational High School in Malang. The results showed that the level of participation of extracurricular scouts were getting results, and the results of the level of discipline students get the results being. There is a relationship between extracurricular participation scout with the level of discipline of students in Public Vocational High School Malang City. Relationships resulting from extracurricular participation variables scout with the level of discipline of students categorized as moderate. Keyword : extracurricular scouts, and the level of student discipline Abstrak: P enelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendiskripsikan keikutsertaan ekstrakurikuler pramuka, mendiskripsikan tingkat kedisiplinan siswa di SMK Negeri se-Kota Malang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian kuantitaif deskriptif-korelasional. Pengambilan data penelitian ini menggunakan angket atau kuesioner yang dibagikan kepada siswa sebanyak 364 siswa, yang sudah dibagi kedalam 12 SMK Negeri di Kota Malang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat keikutsertaan ekstrakurikuler pramuka mendapatkan hasil sedang, dan hasil tingkat kedisiplinan siswa mendapatkan hasil sedang. Ada hubungan antara keikutsertaan ekstrakurikuler pramuka dengan tingkat kedisiplinan siswa di SMK Negeri se-Kota Malang. Hubungan yang dihasilkan dari variabel keikutsertaan ekstrakurikuler pramuka dengan tingkat kedisiplinan siswa berkategori sedang. This research uses descriptive quantitative approach with descriptive research design correlation based on quantitative data obtained from empirical data. The research location in the SMP as the city of Blitar, amounting to 9 schools. With a sample size of 380 students who were taken using proportional random sampling technique. Data collection techniques used is a research instrument in the form of a questionnaire. The analysis prerequisite test is validity, reliability, and test for normality. While the analysis of the data in this study using the technique of Pearson product moment correlation analysis The results showed that the level of provision of facilities to support free education in middle category with an average of 126,74 (60,3%), and the level of learning motivation also are in the category with an average of 89,30 (76,6%). Simultaneously there is a positive and significant relationship between the provising of support facilities for free education and learning motivation of junior high school student in Blitar city. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan: (1) tingkat kualitas fasilitas pendukung pendidikan gratis yang diterima peserta didik SMPN se Kota Blitar; (2) tingkat motivasi belajar peserta didik SMPN se Kota Blitar; dan (3) hubungan pemberian fasilitas pendukung pendidikan gratis dan motivasi belajar peserta didik SMPN se Kota Blitar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif-kuantitatif dengan rancangan penelitian deskriptif korelasi berdasarkan pada data kuantitatif yang diperoleh dari data empirik. Lokasi penelitian di SMPN se Kota Blitar yang berjumlah 9 sekolah. Dengan jumlah sampel 380 peserta didik yang diambil menggunakan teknik proportional random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah instrumen penelitian dalam bentuk angket/kuesioner. Uji prasyarat analisis yang digunakan yaitu uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, dan uji normalitas. Sedangkan analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis korelasi Product Moment Pearson . Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat pemberian fasilitas pendukung pendidikan gratis berada pada kategori sedang yaitu dengan rata-rata 126,74 (60,3%), dan tingkat motivasi belajar peserta didik juga berada pada kategori sedang dengan rata-rata 89,30 (76,6%). Secara simultan terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara pemberian fasilitas pendukung pendidikan gratis dengan motivasi belajar peserta didik SMPN se Kota Blitar. This research used the qualitative approach with case studies types. Data collection tecniques used are interviews, observation, and documentation. The process of data analysis are data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. The result of this research: there are 3 types of school independent businesses, namely school waste banks, business center school, and car air conditioning workshops; has collaboration with the industries namely Bank Sampah Malang, eSWe, Aice, Unggul, and Auto 2000; school independent businesses impacts are school be famous, the needs of students and school residents are fulfilled, and school has the tools and location for practice; the supporting factors of the school independent businesses are based on the need relating to late payment of tuition fees, learning and teaching processes, and government programs, inhibiting factors of the school independent business are the arrival of the rainy season and holiday, violations committed, and the administration system that not good enough, and the solution used are by temporarily closing independent school businesses, do the supervising, and fix the system. Keywords: management, school independent business Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah memberikan informasi pengelolaan usaha mandiri di sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Proses analisis data dengan data condensation, data display, dan conclusion drawing/verification . Hasil penelitian ini: terdapat 3 jenis usaha mandiri sekolah yaitu bank sampah sekolah, business center school , dan bengkel AC mobil; menjalin kerjasama dengan pihak industri yaitu Bank Sampah Malang, eSWe, Aice, Unggul, dan Auto 2000; dampak usaha mandiri sekolah yaitu sekolah menjadi terkenal, kebutuhan peserta didik dan warga sekolah terpenuhi, serta memiliki alat dan lokasi untuk praktik; faktor penunjang usaha mandiri sekolah yaitu adanya keterlambatan pembayaran SPP, kebutuhan peserta didik dan warga sekolah, dan program pemerintah; faktor penghambat usaha mandiri sekolah yaitu datangnya musim hujan dan liburan, adanya pelanggaran, dan sistem administrasi yang kurang baik; dan solusi yang dilakukan yaitu dengan cara menutup sementara usaha mandiri sekolah, melakukan pengawasan, dan memperbaiki sistem. This study used a quantitative approach with a simple linear regression design. The sampling technique used in this study was cluster sampling by taking a representative from each region contained in the population. The sample for the participation of extracurricular activities was 284 students from a population of 978 students which located in SMPN Trenggalek district. The instrument used in data collection was in the form of a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used in this study was descriptive technique, simple linear regression. The conclusions of this study were: (1) the level of participation of extracurricular activities of SMPN Trenggalek students was in the medium category; (2) the level of learning achievements of SMPN Trenggalek students was in the medium category; (3) simultaneously, there was a positive relationship between the participation of extracurricular activities with students’ learning achievements of SMPN Trenggalek district. Keyword: participation of extracurricular activities; learning achievement Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui : (1) tingkat keikutsertaan peserta didik pada kegiatan ekstrakurikuler di SMP Negeri Kabupaten Trenggalek; (2) tingkat prestasi belajar peserta didik di SMP Negeri Kabupaten Trenggalek; (3) hubungan tingkat keikutsertaan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler dan prestasi belajar peserta didik di SMP Negeri Kabupaten Trenggalek.Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan rancangan regresi linier sederhana. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik area (cluster) sampling yaitu teknik sampling dengan mengambil wakil dari setiap wilayah yang terdapat dalam populasi tersebut. Sampel keikutsertaan kegiatan ekstrkurikuler terdapat 284 peserta didik dari populasi sejumlah 978 peserta didik dengan lokasi penelitian di SMP Negeri Kabupaten Trenggalek. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data yakni berupa angket. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu teknik deskriptif, dan regresi linier sederhana. Simpulan penelitian ini yaitu: (1) tingkat keikutsertaan peserta didik pada kegiatan ekstrakurikuler di SMP Negeri Kabupaten Trenggalek dalam kategori sedang; (2) tingkat prestasi belajar peserta didik di SMP Negeri Kabupaten Trenggalek dalam kategori sedang; (3) secara simultan terdapat hubungan yag positif antara tingkat keikutsertaan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler dan prestasi belajar peserta didik di SMP Negeri Kabupaten Trenggalek. Kusumaningrum","doi":"10.17977/um027v2i32019p167","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.17977/um027v2i32019p167","url":null,"abstract":"Abstract: The purpose of this study was to know (1) what are the factors the influence students in the selection of high school in Blitar City, (2) the high level of factors that effects students in the selection of high school in Blitar City, (3) the dominant factors affecting participant students in the selection of high school in Blitar City. This research uses a quantitative approach and is include in the type of descriptive research with exploratory analysis technique. The total population in this study was 3722. Determination of the sample using the Random Sampling technique with calculations using the Slovin Formula as many as 361 respondents, with a 5% error chance. Data collection tools use a questionnaire in the form of a positive statement with the assessment using a Likert Scale on each item statement. The results showed factors that influence students in selecting schools, namely: facility factors (16.60%), human resource factors (HR) (10.98%), and superior school factors (9.66%). This study was able to explain 37.25% of students’ factors in choosing schools, due to the limitations of the factors in this study so that 62.75% could not be explained such as school location factors, tuition fees, extracurricular activities, and education quality. Key Words: analysis factors, choosing school, leaners Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini mengetahui (1) faktor yang mempengaruhi peserta didik dalam pemilihan SLTA Negeri di Kota Blitar, (2) tingginya tingkat faktor yang mempengaruhi peserta didik dalam pemilihan SLTA Negeri di Kota Blitar, (3) faktor dominan yang mempengaruhi peserta didik dalam pemilihan SLTA Negeri di Kota Blitar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan termasuk dalam jenis penelitian deskriptif dengan teknik analisis eksploratori. Jumlah populasi pada penelitian ini sebanyak 3722 responden. Penentuan sampel menggunakan teknik Random Sampling dengan perhitungan menggunakan Rumus Slovin yaitu sebanyak 361 responden, dengan peluang eror 5%. Alat pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dalam bentuk pernyataan positif dengan penilaian menggunakan Skala Likert pada setiap butir pernyataan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan faktor yang mempengaruhi peserta didik dalam memilih sekolah, yaitu: faktor sarana (16.60%), faktor sumber daya manusia (SDM) (10.98%), dan faktor sekolah unggul (9.66%). Penelitian ini mampu menjelaskan 37.25% faktor peserta didik dalam memilih sekolah, karena keterbatasan faktor pada penelitian ini sehingga 62.75% belum bisa dijelaskan seperti faktor lokasi sekolah, biaya pendidikan, ekstrakurikuler, dan mutu pendidikan. This research was conducted through a qualitative approach using a type of case study to obtain descriptive data in a natural, comprehensive, and intensive manner. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, observation and documentation. The results of this study explained the activities of planning, organize, implementation, evaluation, inhibitor factors, support factors, and efforts in overcome barriers to extracurricular activities of club science to support the activity of students in learning science at Elementary School of My Little Island. Keyword: management of extracurricular activities, club science, activeness of students Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan secara rinci kegiatan dari manajemen kegiatan ekstrakurikuler sains club yang dimulai dari tahap perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, penilaian, faktor penghambat, faktor penunjang, serta upaya dalam menanggulangi hambatan dalam kegiatan ekstrakurikuler sains club untuk menunjang keaktifan peserta didik dalam pembelajaran science. Penelitian ini dilakukan melalui pendekatan kualitatif dengan menggunakan jenis penelitian studi kasus untuk memperoleh data deskriptif secara alamiah, komprehensif, dan intensif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menjelaskan mengenai kegiatan perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, penilaian, faktor penghambat, faktor pendukung, dan upaya menanggulangi hambatan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler sains club untuk menunjang keaktifan peserta didik dalam pembelajaran science di SD My Little Island. The application of professional ethics is rooted in school culture as an educational institution that upholds the values and norms of society. The hypothesis of this study is that there is a significant influence of school culture variables (X) on professional ethics (Y). To answer this hypothesis, then make this research use quantitative research. The instrument used to measure the research variables was a closed questionnaire, so respondents chose alternative answers provided. The respondents of this study consisted of 31 people, consisting of: 1 principal; 20 teachers; and 10 school administrators. The study was conducted at Junior High School An Nur, Bululawang, Malang Regency, East Java, Indonesia. Data analysis uses simple regression. Based on the results of data analysis, it was concluded that there was an influence of school culture (X) on professional ethics (Y), with a regression coefficient of 0.537. The formed regression equation is Ŷ = 28.923 + 0.43X. Keywords : school culture, professional ethics, soft systems methodology Abstrak : Etika profesi merupakan hal yang perlu dijunjung tinggi oleh para guru dalam melaksanakan tugas profesi guru. Penerapan etika profesi berakar pada budaya sekolah sebagai lembaga pendidikan yang menjunjung tinggi nilai dan norma kemasyarakat. Hipotesis penelitian ini adalah ada pengaruh yang signifikan variabel budaya sekolah (X) terhadap etika profesi (Y). Untuk menguji hipotesis tersebut, maka penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian kuantitatif. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengukur variabel penelitian adalah angket tertutup, sehingga responden memilih alternatif jawaban yang telah disediakan. Responden penelitian ini berjumlah 31 orang, terdiri dari: 1 orang kepala sekolah; 20 orang guru; dan 10 orang tenaga administrasi sekolah. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMP An Nur Bululawang Malang Jawa Timur. Analisis data menggunakan regresi sederhana. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data disimpulkan ada pengaruh budaya sekolah (X) terhadap etika profesi (Y), dengan koefisien regresi 0,537. Persamaan regresi yang terbentuk adalah Ŷ = 28,923 + 0,43X. Kusumaningrum","doi":"10.17977/um027v2i32019p98","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.17977/um027v2i32019p98","url":null,"abstract":"Abstract : the goal of this research was to know: (1) the level effectiveness of teachers’ coaching events in all vocational high schools in Malang City; (2) the effective level of sustainable professionalism at vocational high schools Malang City; (3) the level teachers’ teaching performance at vocational high schools Malang City; (4) the correlation between coaching and teachers’ teaching performance at vocational high schools Malang City; (5) the correlation between development of sustainable professionalism and teachers’ teaching performance at vocational high schools Malang City; and (6) the correlation between coaching and development of sustainable professionalism with teachers’ teaching performance at vocational high schools. This research used quantitative approach with using correlational descriptive design. Based on analysis data, there were six conclusions as followed: (1) the level effectiveness of teachers’ coaching in all vocational high schools in Malang City was in moderate category; (2) the level effectiveness development of sustainable professionalism (DSP) in all vocational high schools in Malang City was in low category; (3) the level of teachers’ performance for learning in all vocational high schools in Malang City was high category; (4) there was no relationship significantly between effectiveness of coaching and using teachers’ performance in all vocational high schools in Malang City; (5) there was low relationship between development of sustainable professionalism and teachers’ performance for learning development of sustainable professionalism in all vocational high schools in Malang City; and (6) there was low relationship coaching and development of sustainable professionalism using teachers’ performance for learning. Keyword : Coaching; development of sustainable professionalism; teachers’ teaching performance Abstrak : Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) tingkat keefektifan kegiatan pembinaan guru SMKN di Kota Malang; (2) tingkat keefektifan kegiatan pengembangan profesi guru berkelanjutan SMKN di Kota Malang; (3) tingkat kinerja guru dalam pembelajaran SMKN di Kota Malang; (4) hubungan antara keefektifan pembinaan dan kinerja guru dalam pembelajaraan SMKN di Kota Malang; (5) hubungan antara pengembangan keprofesian berkelanjutan dan kinerja guru dalam pembelajaran SMKN di Kota Malang; dan (6) hubungan keefektifan pembinaan dan pengembangan keprofesian berkelanjutan dengan kinerja guru dalam pembelajaran SMKN di Kota Malang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan rancangan penelitian bersifat deskriptif korelasional.
