For this reason, music therapy activities, which are mostly performed in enclosed spaces, and have a high droplet generation due to singing or playing wind instruments, were inevitably atrophied more than any other treatment methods. And the frequency and intensity of domestic violence were increasing worldwide due to the control according to social distancing. In this situation, in order to overcome the problem of virus spread, non-face-to-face music therapy activities using media that enable real-time interactive communication have emerged. These activities are thought to be an effective treatment method even after the COVID-19 situation. This paper examines the practice of real-time interactive music therapy based on Max van Manen’s hermeneutic phenomenology research method itself, which can transform or remodel the victim by deriving the meaning of the experience and reflectively conscious of the victim’s own experience. And furthermore, I expect the effects of this music therapy on the hidden and helpless victims of domestic violence.","PeriodicalId":246265,"journal":{"name":"Korean Association of Criminal Psychology","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115168803","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In particular, the present study focuses on examining the perception of Korean police officers regarding the necessities and the ways of building international cooperation with foreign police officers. \u0000The numbers of dangerous criminals who had fled overseas have been dramatically increased in South Korea. International Criminal Police Organization(INTERPOL) refers to the international organization that supports worldwide partnerships of police in order to combat transnational crimes and arrest the offenders fleeing overseas. Numerous criminals who tried to flee overseas have committed various types of transnational crimes such as cyber crimes, trafficking in persons, and other organized crimes avoiding investigation of INTERPOL. Few studies have been conducted about the attitude and perception of policemen who work in the sectors of foreign affairs and INTERPOL in South Korea. The current study emphasized the significance of the perceptions of police officers about utility of INTERPOL for re-arresting criminals who fled overseas and subjective opinions of police officers about red notice for combating transnational crimes. Furthermore, this study concentrated on the comparative police cooperation strategies in terms of assigning the effectiveness of “KOREAN DESK Police Officers” regarded as Korean liaison officers who work in foreign countries. Data were drawn from the total number of 317 police who had participated in survey from 4, December to 7, December, 2020 with the support of Korean National Police Agency. Result demonstrated that specific training and education for police officers are required in the field of foreign affairs due to the lack of perception about non-red notice issues of INTERPOL and insufficient international cooperation systems with foreign police departments. Further policy implications will be discussed.","PeriodicalId":246265,"journal":{"name":"Korean Association of Criminal Psychology","volume":"114 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123750537","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The subject of this study is Pyeongtaek, south Gyeonggi-do. In 2020, the number of crimes nationwide was 1,611,906, 3,108.7 per 100,000 people, and the Gyeonggi Nambu Provincial Police Agency had 379,794 crimes, which was 3,877.5 per 100,000, while Pyeongtaek City had 28,270, which was 5,510.4 per 100,000. This is more than 2,000 cases higher than the national crime rate per 100,000 people, and 1,500 cases higher than the crime rate in Gyeonggi-do. In other words, the study began with the need for an alternative for the safety and order maintenance and risk prevention of Pyeongtaek citizens due to crime. As a result, the problem with the occurrence of crimes in Pyeongtaek City is First, the occurrence of crimes due to insufficient security conditions. Second, there is a lack of CCTV, an infrastructure for crime prevention. Third, it is the deterioration of crime prevention activities through people-to-people cooperation, which is one of the police activities of the local community, which is outside the traditional police activities. Based on these problems, suggestions were made on how to increase the efficiency of the construction of a crime-safe city. First, the factors vulnerable to crime and improvement of the environment. Second, the strengthening of police patrol power in response to crime. Third, crime prevention is the duty of the police.","PeriodicalId":246265,"journal":{"name":"Korean Association of Criminal Psychology","volume":"2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122658617","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To provide suggestions on how to address the problem, the current study reviews the existing literature on violent victimization of gender and sexual minority individuals and the relevant U.S. laws, prohibitions, and policies. This study suggests that the South Korean criminal justice system should establish explicit anti-discrimination prohibitions and policies regarding criminal justice professional interactions with LGBTQ+ populations. The authors purported to investigate if adolescents’ experience of online sexual victimization can be prevented by their willingness to control their exposure to adult contents and by education. Specifically, independent variable autonomous control and exposure to adult contents based on lifestyle-related theory were employed in the analysis models. For the study, we analyzed the \"2020 Youth Media Use and Hazardous Environment Survey\", which collected by the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family, and the data included the responses from 14,536 teenagers with regard to their online sexual victimization experiences. As a result, first, it was verified that the autonomous control of adolescents had a significant effect on the online sexual victimization by mediating the exposure level. In other words, the higher the autonomous control of adolescents, the lower the exposure level, and the lower the exposure level, the lower the online sexual victimization. Second, as a result of analyzing the moderating effect of education in the relationship between autonomous control and exposure level, both uneducated and educated groups had a negative effect, but the negative relationship between autonomous control and exposure level was stronger when educated. Third, it was verified that the mediating effect of exposure level in the relationship between autonomous control and online sexual victimiation has a significant moderating effect depending on the presence or absence of education. Finally, based on the results, suggestions were made for the intervention and development of various educational programs such as media use education, violence prevention education, and sex education to increase youth's autonomous control and lower exposure levels.","PeriodicalId":246265,"journal":{"name":"Korean Association of Criminal Psychology","volume":"17 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115574770","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The fact that life satisfaction in adolescence decreases compared to other periods of life should be treated as a very serious problem. This is because the number of teenagers who end their lives by suicide is increasing every year. Nevertheless, not many studies have been conducted on the quality of life of adolescents. This study statistically analyzed the structural equation model to obtain the following results. First, Violence victimization and cyberbullying victimization do not directly affect the quality of life of adolescents, but abuse from parents have a direct effect. Second, Depression has a mediating effect in the effect of cyberbullying victimizaton and abuse at home on the quality of life of adolescents.In the case of cyberbullying, depression has a complete mediating effect in the quality of life and causal relationship. The finding of the research results is as follows. Unlike the previous explanation that in adolescence, the influence from peers is greater than from family, it was still found that the most influenced by adolescents is still the family. The effect will be more positive only when the role of the family must be included in the youth-related recovery program. Above all, strengthening family relationships will contribute to improving the quality of life of adolescents.","PeriodicalId":246265,"journal":{"name":"Korean Association of Criminal Psychology","volume":"27 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123477679","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
