With the rise of machine learning, credit risk can be assessed more easily according to historic data, and support vector machine (SVM) is considered to be an “off-the-shelf” supervised learning algorithm to solve the classification problem successfully. In this paper, an improved fuzzy support vector machine (FSVM) is proposed to overcome the classification problem caused by noise and outliers. First, the notion of mean grey incidence degree is defined to describe the relevance among the training samples. Then, homogeneous and heterogeneous class centers are selected as two reference points in order to discriminate noise and outliers from the valid data. Finally, a fuzzy membership function is given for the purpose of FSVM training. As an empirical study, two credit data set are chosen to demonstrate the feasibility of the model.","PeriodicalId":246110,"journal":{"name":"2015 IEEE International Conference on Grey Systems and Intelligent Services (GSIS)","volume":"36 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-10-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128306283","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Then the paper estimates the time-varying elasticity of wage on inflation and the time-varying elasticity of M2 on inflation by using the state space model. The estimation indicates that after the year of 2000, the effect of wage and M2 on inflation is stable gradually, which is in contrast to the effect before the year of 2000. And the factor of money supply is a better explanation of inflation than the factor of wage.","PeriodicalId":246110,"journal":{"name":"2015 IEEE International Conference on Grey Systems and Intelligent Services (GSIS)","volume":"254 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-10-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114445513","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is the growth power of strategic new industries. This paper establishes an incremental probabilistic equation of strategic new industries economic efficiency, and analyses the positive benefits and negative effects on strategic new industries by control theory. The paper proposes that we must increase positive stimulus measures on strategic new industries for incremental probability of strategic new industries economic efficiency and reduce negative stimulus measures on strategic new industries growth. These positive stimulus measures include establishing subsidies policy of industrial development, subsidies policy of new product's consumption, and purchasing prior independent innovation products that are made in China, etc. These negative stimulus measures include preventing the impact of market and risk on strategic new industries by establishment of national strategic new industries insurance fund.","PeriodicalId":246110,"journal":{"name":"2015 IEEE International Conference on Grey Systems and Intelligent Services (GSIS)","volume":"34 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-10-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133125934","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Firstly, this paper constructs a grey three-dimensional correlation space, which contains a time-axis and different time sections corresponding to the projection surfaces of objects' properties. Points in the time sections represent research objects, and their positions are determined by the objects' attribute values in different investigation periods. Secondly, based on the grey three-dimensional correlation space, we build a new grey correlation degree algorithm for dynamic multi-attribute decision problems. This correlation degree algorithm considers the difference between research objects as well as the fluctuations of their own attribute values, and provides a new method the grey decision theory. Lastly, an example of industrial development verifies the validity and practicability of our model and its algorithm.","PeriodicalId":246110,"journal":{"name":"2015 IEEE International Conference on Grey Systems and Intelligent Services (GSIS)","volume":"58 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-10-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116577318","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It resulted in most listed shipping companies suffering heavy losses. However executive compensation in some enterprises is rose sharply. The paper studies whether the correlation degrees of firm performance, executive stock-holding, continuous growth capacity and other relevant factors of executive payment are effected by all financial crisis and tries to find the key factors in the executive compensation evaluation mechanism. According to statistical data from 2004 to 2013 in representative Chinese ports and listed shipping companies, the Grey system theory is applied to make a contrast analysis of correlation between compensation and other factors such as firm performance. The model was created on the basis of empirical data collected in Poland and analysed with the use of Grey Clustering Analysis. At the first i.e. an empirical stage of the studies, a list of competences was identified which are estimated as significant for the successors. At the second stage, on the basis of significance assessment of the competences distinguished by the successors, a list of distinguished competences according to their significance level in a succession process was sorted out. At the third stage, using the basis of grey systems theory, the competences were classified according to their relation of similarities. As the result the successors' competency model was proposed.","PeriodicalId":246110,"journal":{"name":"2015 IEEE International Conference on Grey Systems and Intelligent Services (GSIS)","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-10-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127554864","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
