With the large surrounding, new students or visitors may find difficulties in searching specific buildings. Several techniques have been developed to allow people to walk in larger virtual spaces than permitted by the physical extent of the virtual reality (VR) hardware and provide a new way of thinking about the user’s relationship to the virtual environment, guiding the user’s continuous and direct input within both space and time allowing a more narrative presentation. The paper then presents the details of how this analogy was applied to the VR experience. The immersive walkthrough (IW) could be done in VR, where people can try to play immersive environment to improve their understanding of UiTM Melaka and help them to navigate the facilities and find the specific area easily by searching it in the building. This study comprises five phases in developing IW UiTM Melaka: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation (ADDIE). We evaluate the result by applying usability testing on effectiveness, efficiency, and satisfaction for the correctness of the IW. The questionnaire was distributed using a survey method involving 43 participants. Based on the survey analysis, we received a percentage of 89% effectiveness, 88% of efficiency and 89% of satisfaction. As a result, the usability test of this study achieved 89%. Despite these advantages, the basic ABC algorithm has some drawbacks such as slow convergence, poor exploitation, and difficulty in finding the best solution among all feasible solutions in some cases. Hence, a hybrid optimization algorithm called Artificial Bee Rabbit Optimization (ABRO) is proposed in this paper. This algorithm synergizes the ABC algorithm and Artificial Rabbits Optimization (ARO) algorithm. The original ABC algorithm has a better exploration approach while the ARO algorithm has a better exploitation strategy when approaching the optimum value. The new hybrid algorithm integrates the good features of both standard optimization strategies, thus producing better possible solutions. Four types of benchmark functions are applied to test the performances of the proposed algorithm. Furthermore, the proposed algorithm is applied in the IEEE-26 bus system for tackling the economic dispatch problem. However, not all traffic lights are built safely, and are subject to malfunctioning. With the use of formal methods, systems can be designed to be faultless in deployment. With the use of Event-B, a common formal method for formal modelling and the assistance of Rodin, a tool for Event-B, a traffic light system model was designed with safety and functionality in mind. The system focuses on a T-junction model of Sunway City, Selangor, which is a smart city in Malaysia, as it does not have a formally proven traffic light system, which could lead to incidents or accidents that may be fatal. The Event-B model has been formally specified by Rodin and verified by theorem provers. Some aspects were simulated to showcase the flow of traffic through the day. This paper uses the NodeMCU system platform to automate parcel delivery monitoring and control via the Internet of Things (IoT). This initiative was born out of a current parcel drop box practice study, which revealed that parcels delivered to and placed in drop boxes are frequently lost and abandoned by users. The main purpose of this research is to provide convenience to the consumer by notifying them when their parcel is delivered and safely protecting the parcel in the drop box, therefore at once can improve the parcel delivery systems smartly. Furthermore, this research will help promote the Fourth Industrial Revolution (IR 4.0), which will make all systems smarter and more automated by alerting consumers to parcels and receiving notifications via their smartphones. The Infrared (IR) obstacle sensor is used to detect the existence of the parcel. When a parcel is dropped in the drop box, the sensor activates and interfaces with the Wi-Fi Module, which sends a notification to the user’s phone via the Blynk app. The smart drop parcel application may be installed on Android and iPhone devices. The Arduino IDE and the Blynk platform were utilized. The Arduino IDE is used for compiling and uploading the software to the NodeMCU, and the Blynk platform is used for displaying parcel notifications and controlling the lock mechanism. It is accessible from any location as long as it is linked to the internet. As a result, the I-Dropbox has fully functioned and accomplished its objectives. Thus, this research paper proposed the development of a data-driven fractional-order PID controller based on marine predators algorithm (MPA) for liquid slosh suppression system. The MPA is used as a data-driven tuning tool in finding the optimal FOPID controller parameters based on fitness function which consists of total norm of tracking error, total norm of slosh angle as well as total norm of control input. The motor-driven liquid container performing a horizontal movement is used as a mathematical modeling to justify the suggested data-driven control approach. The effectiveness of the FOPID controller tuning method based on MPA was assessed by evaluating the performance criteria in terms of convergence curve of the average fitness function, statistical results, and Wilcoxon’s rank test. Drones are made up of electrical and mechanical components, and failure in these components might deteriorate the drone’s performance and, worse, lead it to crash. In this study, fault detection approaches based on raw vibration and acoustic parameters were introduced. Motor failure and loose screws are simulated to represent electrical and mechanical faults. Based on the raw data obtained from the MEMS sensors, motor failure can be successfully detected by both approaches. The mechanical fault is difficult to be detected by the raw data of both approaches as the amplitude values recorded are close to the normal drone condition. This work is an extension from our previous work exploring the rover wheel assistive grouser angle of attack effects on traction force in soft terrain. Therefore, a new experiment involving the different grouser shapes on the assistive grouser wheel must be conducted to comprehend the interactions between the grouser and loose soil. From observation, the bulldozing effect of the assistive grouser is also influenced by the grouser shapes. Further understanding of the soil flow also effect of the grouser shape design in general. Hence, we have developed 4 different grouser shapes to be attached to the single wheel rover testbed to evaluate the effects of the shape to the performance of the assistive grouser wheel on a 0-degree slope loose soil surface. The grouser shapes consisted of Inverse Parallel, C-Shape, Inverse C-Shape and Inverse Chevron Shape. The average total traction force and current consumption was examined. It was observed during the grouser entering the sand surface, the sand piled up onto the grouser surface effecting the value of average total traction force. This was caused by surface area of the grouser. The more surface area of the assistive grouser, the more traction force generated to push the wheel forward. Based on the experimental results, it was concluded that Inverse Parallel is the optimal grouser design for use as assistive grouser in wheeled rover on soft sand, as it has the lowest surface area and the lowest average total traction force. However, Inverse Chevron generated the least current consumption by the half-wheel rover. This paper presents the comparison of the 51-level HMI and 57-level SCBMI topologies in terms of the total number of components and the total harmonic distortion (THD) across different modulation indices (i.e., 0.2, 0.4, 0.6, 0.8, and 1). In addition, the effective switching frequency and the fundamental frequency component of the AC voltage waveforms were also compared. Both the presented inverter topologies were driven by the nearest level control (NLC) modulation technique under one resistive-inductive RL loading condition. Airlines, forwarders, integrators and logistics service provider are trying to increase their market share by developing strategies to attract as many e-commerce activities as possible. Compared to sea freight and trucking, airfreight is the first choice that consumers tend to choose when it comes to time-varying delivery. However, airfreight is the highest contributor to the carbon emissions in transportation industry despite its ability to be the fastest mode of delivery. Based on the trends in the transportation industry, the sector utilized nearly 36.4% of the natural resources and has been reliant on it for decades. Lack of sustainable technology can impose inefficiency and insufficient infrastructure. In this paper, integrated framework is introduced to measure overall sustainability performance of an air freight services provided by logistics companies in Malaysia. Water is an important and free natural resource that humans require on a regular basis. Maintaining water cleanliness is important and our shared duty. Most infections illnesses, which result in millions of deaths each year, are brought on by contaminated water. The purpose of this study is to analyze the water quality of Melor river in Kelantan and to develop a solar-powered Internet of Things (IoT) based water quality monitoring system. The device is powered by a solar array which deployed with three sensors that are turbidity, pH, and total dissolved solids sensors. The water’s parameter data has been sent to a data center in real time using an ESP32 microprocessor and sensors. Data on water quality can be monitored using a Blynk application on a smartphone through IoT development. The result presents the analysis which shows 34 hours for the battery to completely charge in a solar-powered system. The findings indicate that the neighborhood’s river’s water condition was suitable based on the water’s TDS content readings which is below 300 ppm.
