Both situations can lead to the loss of precious objects, including jewelry, electronic gadgets, cash, and other important items that might have been acquired over the years. The impact of such events can be far-reaching and can leave an indelible mark on the victim’s life for a long time after the event. Taking safety measures to protect against fire and theft can lessen the likelihood of loss in the event of a disaster. As a result of this, it is necessary to develop an updated warning system which is an upgrade on the one that is already in existence. The Emergency Alert System (EAS) is a system that is designed to provide the user with information regarding the condition of their home. This system was built with a NodeMCU, a gas sensor, a sound sensor, and typical alert devices like an emergency light and a siren. In the past, a standard alert would only notify the people in the general neighborhood, but now it could also notify the owner even when they are not at home. This project utilized the Internet of Things (IoT) and is integrated with Telegram Bot as a tool to expand the alert system’s notification capabilities.","PeriodicalId":244595,"journal":{"name":"2023 IEEE International Conference on Automatic Control and Intelligent Systems (I2CACIS)","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128500325","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Digital manipulation is now a reasonably simple technique. The primary research topics for the detection of image forgeries are two categories of image forgery: copy-move and image splicing forgery. A piece of an input image is copied, and then another section of the same digital image has the copied section pasted over it this manipulation is called copy-move forgery. While splicing is a form of manipulation that merges various sections from the same or different sources to produce a composite forged image. However, this paper compared and analyzed two forgery techniques and attempted to describe recent findings in both kinds by gathering and organizing them according to the qualities that were employed.","PeriodicalId":244595,"journal":{"name":"2023 IEEE International Conference on Automatic Control and Intelligent Systems (I2CACIS)","volume":"110 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134434372","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To ensure a stable and controlled flight throughout the hypersonic flight phase, a robust automatic flight control system was needed. In addition, in the unlikely event of a flight control failure, the autopilot must be able to remain operational and maintain flight stability. In this paper, the hypersonic aircraft feedback control system was designed using Linear Quadratic Regulator theory to guarantee dynamic stability and ensure robustness. Not all aircraft state variables were measurable hence, Luenberger estimator was incorporated to estimate the other states. Then a Control Reconfiguration System was incorporated to recover dynamic stability in the event of flight control failure. The work done showed that during single flight control malfunction, the feedback control system, Luenberger estimator and Control Reconfiguration System were able to maintain flight stability. This paper also shows that activities of the remaining working flight controls increased significantly to compensate for the lost, to maintain dynamic stability.","PeriodicalId":244595,"journal":{"name":"2023 IEEE International Conference on Automatic Control and Intelligent Systems (I2CACIS)","volume":"9 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133440216","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Utilizing multiple renewable energy sources within a single power generation system is known as a hybrid renewable energy source (HRES) system. The main objective behind the development of HRES is to resolve the intermittency issue of an individual renewable energy source (RES). As researchers are focusing more on the optimum use of energy, they have developed low-power energy-saving appliances operated on DC voltage. In order to meet the applications voltage requirements, different voltage levels are required. This paper proposes a parallel combination of networks to generate multiple output DC voltage levels. The selection of the different voltage levels is based on the standard IEC 60038 of the International Electrotechnical Commission. Each of the networks is comprised of a non–isolated, high–gain, non-inverting interleaved (NIHGNII) DC-DC converter, and for the optimum switching of the (NIHGNII) DC-DC converter proportional-integral (PI) control technique is integrated as a feedback control. Performance evaluation of the proposed system is carried out based on steady-state response under seven different scenarios for all three networks. The maximum steady-state response was observed during scenario 7 for all three networks, for network 1 is 0.17 s, for network 2 is 0.11 s, and for network 3 is 0.13 s. The proposed multi-output power system model is analyzed and investigated with different possible scenarios through software simulation using MATLAB/Simulink environment.","PeriodicalId":244595,"journal":{"name":"2023 IEEE International Conference on Automatic Control and Intelligent Systems (I2CACIS)","volume":"19 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116136982","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, no studies have been conducted to investigate how age, educational level, and employment status can impact the adoption and usage of IWB systems in the educational setting. The study aims to analyze the acceptance and the influencing factors on faculty members’ intention and usage behavior towards IWB systems in teaching, utilizing the Modified-Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology 2 (UTAUT2) model. 135 faculty members from various colleges and departments across Batangas State University ARASOF-Nasugbu Campus were surveyed and data was analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) through SmartPLS software for hypotheses testing. The results of the study indicate that faculty members’ behavioral intention to use interactive whiteboard systems in teaching is positively influenced by performance expectancy and social influence. Moreover, facilitating conditions and habit positively impact usage behavior. This study, therefore, concludes that there is significant roles of performance expectancy and social influence as well as the moderating effect of age on the behavioral intention to use interactive whiteboard (IWB) systems in education. Furthermore, the study confirms that effort expectancy, hedonic motivation, and status as moderating variables significantly influence faculty members’ usage behavior when using IWB systems in teaching.","PeriodicalId":244595,"journal":{"name":"2023 IEEE International Conference on Automatic Control and Intelligent Systems (I2CACIS)","volume":"161 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114176282","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, this exposes them to various respiratory diseases and puts them at risk of infection. Utilizing Internet-of-Things is imperative to design a remote monitoring system in implementing a solution to lessen the exposure of respiratory therapists and healthcare workers and prevent the possible further spreading of various respiratory diseases. While ventilators can be designed and replaced with built-in telemonitoring capability, acquiring new equipment with such functionality can be costly. This study proposes to design a device that can be attached to old model ventilators to make them able to be remotely viewable in a centralized monitoring station. This study takes advantage of using an open-source optical character recognition tool (Pytesseract-OCR) so that instead of transferring images that require a lot of data, the device will only transfer text data of vital information. The images captured are pre-processed and warped to increase the confidence level of character recognition of Pytesseract-OCR. The device was able to recognize text from ventilator monitors with confidence level of 58.6% to 94.3% with an average of 81.568%. Many applications on web and mobile have been deployed but still many manual signings attendance record exists at non-internet connections environment which documentation takes a long time and risky. The problem is some attendance records were missing while staff indicated that they have log in. Thus, an attendance monitoring using RFID has been proposed. This research has designed an RFID-based attendance tracking system that uses an RFID card to uniquely identify each employee or student’s attendance with LED authentication. The method to develop the system is comprised of hardware and software components such as RFID cards, RFID reader model RC522, buzzer, and LED. Users’ attendance record is collected whereby users touch the RFID card on the RFID reader. Data for three different locations was collected and analysed. Result has identified that the RFID system is faster in 20 seconds which is 80% performance compared to manual attendance. This study is significant for attendance reporting which is automatically synchronized with a real-time clock and the attendance records is more accurate and would help the administration monitor the staff attendance at the non-internet connections environment.","PeriodicalId":244595,"journal":{"name":"2023 IEEE International Conference on Automatic Control and Intelligent Systems (I2CACIS)","volume":"14 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127484171","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Eight out of ten adults in the Philippines drink an average of 2.5 cups of coffee per day, and nine out of ten households have coffee in their pantries. In 2021, it is reported that coffee will be an approximately PHP 3.0 billion (USD 5 million) industry in the country. As such, much effort is placed into sustaining its economic production. Botanical studies reveal that some factors severely affect the quality of coffee plants. One of them is coffee leaf rust which is caused by the fungus known asHemileia vastatrix and affects many coffee-growing regions.If not detected early enough it can greatly reduce coffee yield or worse wipe out an entire plantation affecting the farmers. This study proposes a methodology for detecting coffee leaf rust disease using computer vision and employs multiple pre-trained architectures of Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs). Specifically, this study used twenty-five convolutional neural networks, and the best-performing models are ResNet101V2, InceptionV3, ResNet50V2, Xception, and DenseNet169. They have a training accuracy of 92.62%, 96.90%, 93.45%, 98.45%, and 96.79% respectively. Meanwhile, their validation accuracy is 91.67%, 90%, 94.44%, 93.89%, and 95.56% respectively. Out of the top five CNNs, ResNet101V2 achieved the highest test accuracy with 95.56% and it also excels in other evaluation metrics such as Precision, Recall, and F1 – score. Although this study used a variety of CNNs, it is also recommended to use more types of algorithms as well as increase the number of epochs. Future studies can also consider the detection of other coffee diseases and a larger dataset for a wider scope. Overall, the result of this study is a step closer to achieving improved coffee production and the livelihoods of farmers.","PeriodicalId":244595,"journal":{"name":"2023 IEEE International Conference on Automatic Control and Intelligent Systems (I2CACIS)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128532216","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
