Thus, this study aims to raise awareness by analyzing solar energy generation and simulating potential cost savings based on solar irradiance data. A Linear Regression model was developed by identifying the correlation between actual solar energy generation and solar irradiance data at a specific location. The study employs MSE, RMSE, and R-squared metrics to evaluate prediction accuracy. The developed model has a low MSE and RMSE value of 5.9 and 2.43, respectively, and a high R-squared value of 0.75, indicating high prediction accuracy. This model can predict solar power generation at specific locations based on solar irradiance data, enabling the estimation of cost savings from reduced electricity bills and maximum power generated by the solar panels.","PeriodicalId":244595,"journal":{"name":"2023 IEEE International Conference on Automatic Control and Intelligent Systems (I2CACIS)","volume":"39 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121132826","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Recent literature has presented interesting results employing a linear kernel and a nonlinear kernel. It was shown that, via careful design of the kernels, high accuracy can be achieved. However, long data records are required and the hyperparameter optimization is computationally intensive. In the current work, the identification problem is explored from a perturbation signal design viewpoint. In particular, the pseudorandom maximum length binary signal is applied to identify the nonlinear terms present in the system. Such an experiment may be useful as a preliminary test as insights gained can potentially simplify the subsequent identification problem and shorten the required data record.","PeriodicalId":244595,"journal":{"name":"2023 IEEE International Conference on Automatic Control and Intelligent Systems (I2CACIS)","volume":"64 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121379282","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Indigenous peoples who have inhabited and cared for these regions for generations attach great cultural, spiritual, and economic significance to them. Indigenous Peoples Rights Act (IPRA) of 1997 acknowledged for the first time the idea of ancestral domain in the Philippines. However, the IPRA’s implementation and the preservation of ancestral properties in the Philippines have encountered obstacles. There have been instances of unlawful logging, mining, and land appropriation in ancestral domains, typically with the participation of local government officials and influential persons. This has resulted in the uprooting of indigenous populations and the devastation of their land and resources. This research aimed to analyze the data in relation to tree planting activities initiated by several advocates, especially the Father Saturnino Urios University Foundation. Which aims, helping to preserve and saving Ancestral Land. This research employs data mining activity and develops insights according to generated patterns. Descriptive analytics is the branch of data analysis that involves summarizing and describing data. It typically involves using statistics, data visualization, and other techniques to identify patterns and trends in data. Descriptive analytics can be used to understand the characteristics of data and to communicate those characteristics to others. Further, the results show that tree planting activities conducted by some advocates resulted in good results, since planted trees near the watershed have had a survival rate of 92.28 (%) percent and around 43,270 seedlings planted in 88.05 hectares. On the other hand, abaca have been planted in the area for the livelihood of IP situated in the area, have a survival rate of 96 (%) percent. This result is the output of an ongoing rehabilitation of the area and effort made by some organization resulted to a good output. However, it needs a long process to maintain and continue to preserve the ancestral land.","PeriodicalId":244595,"journal":{"name":"2023 IEEE International Conference on Automatic Control and Intelligent Systems (I2CACIS)","volume":"70 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121462859","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Detecting bomb under the car has been one of the routines for police and military personnel during their mission to protect important individual from bomb threat. In this study, the localization, navigation and mapping of vehicle undercarriage are simulated. Navigation simulation includes the perimeter navigation, path planning and manual threat search. Perimeter navigation navigates the perimeter of the vehicle to construct a boundary condition for threat search. Path planning allows for automated threat search and three different methods were used to construct the path on random spot generated within the perimeter of the vehicle. The methods are heuristic (Greedy Method), GA, and GA optimized heuristic. Manual threat search allows user to define search area within the perimeter of the vehicle. Mapping of vehicle undercarriage is done by sweeping under the vehicle while scanning the undercarriage of the vehicle using distance sensor.","PeriodicalId":244595,"journal":{"name":"2023 IEEE International Conference on Automatic Control and Intelligent Systems (I2CACIS)","volume":"21 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121665717","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To authenticate a digital image, many digital image forgery detection (DIFD) techniques have been developed. Machine learning is one of the greatest technologies for addressing the issue and assisting in the development of such a system. In this paper, the proposed DIFD has been separated into three steps. The first step involves image processing, followed by feature vector extraction of two handcrafted features from images. Finally, for training these feature vectors, the Gaussian Discriminant Analysis (GDA) classifying model is utilized to distinguish between authentic and fake images. The experiment findings indicate that in the GDA classifier, the (Tamura) texture feature outperformed the (LBP) texture features, as a result, it is the best texture property for fake detection. A comparison of the suggested approach with other with additional modern methods is displayed using the CASIA V2.0 freely accessible dataset.","PeriodicalId":244595,"journal":{"name":"2023 IEEE International Conference on Automatic Control and Intelligent Systems (I2CACIS)","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128185756","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The growing conditions and health of the oil palm trees have a direct impact on the yield of the trees and the income of the growers. With thousands of trees planted on a plantation, an effective solution for large-scale oil palm tree detection must be developed to maximise income and management efficiency. However, the detection of oil palm trees in high-density crowded regions is difficult. This study proposed an intelligent method to detect oil palm trees by using UAV images and deep learning. This study focused on the detection of oil palm trees within crowded and overlapping regions. The datasets used in this study are very complex, containing highly crowded regions and various growing statuses of oil palm trees. U-Net deep learning-based segmentation model was employed to extract the regions that contain oil palm trees in the input image. The segmented image was then post-processed to refine the region of interest. The performance of the proposed architecture was compared against DeepLab V3+ and PSP-Net with different hyperparameter settings. The experimental results show that the proposed method achieved an accuracy of 97% in oil palm tree detection.","PeriodicalId":244595,"journal":{"name":"2023 IEEE International Conference on Automatic Control and Intelligent Systems (I2CACIS)","volume":"59 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121455605","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
