Therefore, using a stylistic analysis approach, the researcher developed Madārij al-Ṣu‘ūd teaching materials with al-Barzanjī text teaching materials. The method used in this research is Research and Development with ADDIE model. This study aimed to determine: (1) the steps for developing teaching materials; (2) the results of the field trial of teaching materials. Based on the study results, it can be seen: (1) the average result of the pretest for the experimental class is 48.33, and the control class is 50.83; (2) the average post-test result for the experimental class was 86.66, and the control class was 59.16; (3) the results of the N-Gain Score test showed an increase in the experimental class of 0.73 in the high category. In comparison, the increase produced by the control class is 0.12 in the low category. In conclusion, developing Fatḥ al-Bayān as a teaching material can improve students' understanding of the al-Barzanjī text. One way to improve students' critical thinking skills is by learning that accommodates High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). The HOTS level is in the cognitive aspect; evaluate, analyze and create. The curriculum for Arabic subject learning has been regulated by the Decree of the Indonesian Minister of Religion number 183 and 184 of 2019, which stated that teachers are asked to direct Arabic subject learning that focuses on High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). This study is descriptive qualitative research, describing Arabic subject learning using the Project-based learning (PjBL) model. Barthes explained that in the meaning of the word, there are two parts, denotation, namely the original meaning contained in the dictionary, and connotation, where this meaning involves human emotions and thoughts. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research, and the data source used is the animated film Amīrat al-Rūm by Hadi Mohammadian. The data collection technique uses watching, listening, and translating. Meanwhile, the data analysis is linguistic messages, unencoded iconic messages, and encoded iconic messages. One of the books that are often used as a textbook by various madrasas and Islamic boarding schools on learning naḥwu for beginners is the al-Naḥw al-Wāḍīḥ. Unfortunately, this book has not determined the quality in the validity of practice for the lesson, because it was written by an Arabic native speaker. So, the target of this book is not for non-native Arabic speakers. This study uses a mixed method of qualitative and quantitative to describe a more complete picture of item analysis. The purpose of this study was to determine the quality of practice questions in the al-Naḥw al-Wāḍīḥ book in terms of validity, reliability, level of difficulty, and discriminating power. The results obtained are, (1) 93% of the exercise sample is under content validity; (2) from the results of the ANOVA test of two exercise samples, this test is quite reliable; (3) the difficulty level of the sample practice questions on naḥwu is fairly easy; (4) the discriminating power of the nahwu sample is sufficient. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method that describes the existing data. The data is obtained from the verses of the Quran surah Yūsuf, which contains the commandment sentences. The results of this study indicate that in surah Yūsuf there are 32 command sentences, namely in verses 9(2), 10, 12, 21, 23, 29(2), 31, 36, 42, 43, 46, 50(2), 54, 55, 59, 62, 63, 67, 78, 81(2), 82, 87, 88, 93, 97, 99, 101, and 108. The results of the 32 data show 31 in the form of fi‘l amr and 1 in the form of isim fi‘l amr. Then, of the 32 command sentences, there are 19 which have an essential command meaning. The scenes in this film are filled with codes that aim to attract sympathy and empathy from other countries. The problem in this research is the use of signs used by Anaïs Barbeau-Lavalette in describing the life of the Palestinian people and the actions of the Israeli soldiers depicted through these signs. This study aims to uncover the forms of signs and their relationship to objects contained in these signs. The method used is a qualitative method with an objective approach. The theory used is the semiotic theory of Charles Sanders Peirce. In this study, the researcher found ten scenes describing Israeli soldiers' attitudes and actions between the two countries. The social representation depicted in the film is the poverty faced by the Palestinian people. All of their possessions had been lost along with the pieces of their house. The study of meaning in this article uses a qualitative research methodology by analyzing images as data which is analyzed using Charles Sanders Peirce’s semiotics in finding meaning through signs, objects, and interpretants. The results of this study indicate that sign is mostly motivated by social context and does not require excessive interpretation of meaning. The object takes the side of social life that occurs in Palestinian society. Interpretants also sometimes directly criticize social life, culture, and the environment around them. The video clip of Atouna El Toufoule contains a moral message and an invitation to create peace for children living in conflict areas. This research used a qualitative descriptive and subjects were Arabic language teachers and grade IX students at SMPIT Insan Rabbani, Bekasi Barat. The data collection technique used observation, interview, and documentation techniques, while the data validation technique used triangulation techniques, namely triangulation of data sources and methods. data analysis. The results showed that: (1) the planning of the evaluation of Arabic learning at SMPIT Insan Rabbani is quite good; (2) the implementation of the evaluation of Arabic learning is carried out using the google form media; (3) the problem is that it is difficult to know the students’ Arabic skills and the character or behavior of the students are difficult to monitor. The location of the house is not covered by the internet network, including minimalist student internet quotas, or an unstable internet network. As for the eastern region, whose population is mostly Igbo, it was reached by displaced merchants from the two regions: the northern and western. This word cannot be understood directly without any knowledge or explanation. This study includes an analysis of the word culture with the material object of the historical novel ‘Amāliqat al-Shimāl by Najīb al-Kīlānī. The word culture contained in the novel was collected, then included in each category based on the division of the cultural elements of Peter Newmark. The method used is descriptive qualitative by presenting the data in the analysis. The cultural words analyzed are given a general and concise explanation accompanied by pictures. This study aims to understand the novel’s content and strengthen the word culture, which is found as the Nigerian identity, which is the background of the events in the novel. The study results found 21 cultural words that have an identical effect on Nigeria.
