The fluorescent magnetic particle chemiluminescence method was used to verify the analytical performance of sIgE for house dust mite (D1), dust mite (D2) extracts, and their components (Der p 1, Der p 2, Der p 10, and Der p 23), including precision, limit of blank (LoB), limit of detection (LoD), linear range, and interfering factors. This is a retrospective cohort study. A total of 50 patients with allergic rhinitis and 50 patients with allergic asthma diagnosed at Zhongshan Hospital Affiliated to Fudan University from January 2022 to August 2023 were selected, along with 70 apparently healthy individuals who underwent physical examinations in the hospital as the healthy control group. The positive rates of each sIgE component in the three groups were compared, and the receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve for diagnosing dust mite allergy was plotted. The results showed that the fluorescent magnetic particle chemiluminescence method for detecting sIgE demonstrated good repeatability and intermediate precision within the range of 0.1-100 kU/L. The LoB, LoD, and linear range all met the specified requirements. Except for Der p 10, which was interfered by the presence of conjugated bilirubin and free bilirubin (exceeding 40 mg/dl), the detection of other allergens was not significantly affected by common endogenous substances. In healthy individuals, 10% had positive sIgE for dustmite extract; in asthmatic and allergic rhinitis patients, the positive rates were 70% and 82%, respectively. The double positive rate of D1 and D2 in the healthy group was 8.6%, while in asthmatic and allergic rhinitis patients, it was 66% and 70%, respectively. When 0.35 kU/L was used as the threshold, the sensitivity of sIgE for dust mite extract to predict component positivity was 100%, specificity was 61.5%, positive predictive value (PPV) was 80.2%, and negative predictive value (NPV) was 100%. When the threshold was optimized to 0.78 kU/L, the sensitivity was 96.8%, specificity was 92.1%, PPV was 95.2%, and NPV was 94.6%. In conclusion, the repeatability, intermediate precision, LoB, LoD, linear range, and anti-interference ability of the fluorescent magnetic particle chemiluminescence method for detecting sIgE meet the requirements of laboratory quality management. This ensures detection quality, meets clinical needs, and can be used for the auxiliary diagnosis of allergic diseases.
","PeriodicalId":24033,"journal":{"name":"中华预防医学杂志","volume":"59 9","pages":"1427-1433"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2025-09-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"145070630","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The descriptive epidemiological method was used to collect the incidence data of HFRS cases in Baoji City from 2008 to 2003 in the Infectious Disease Reporting Information Management System. The epidemic characteristics of HFRS cases were summarized and analyzed. The data on HFRS vaccination from 2008 to 2023 were consulted through the Baoji Hemorrhagic Fever Vaccination Report, and the relationship between vaccination status and reported incidence was analyzed. The results showed that a total of 2 690 cases of HFRS were reported in Baoji City, with an annual average reported incidence rate of 6.94/100 000, 15 cases died and a case fatality rate of 0.41%. The number of reported HFRS cases showed a fluctuating trend, with a peak in 2011-2013. Since 2016, it entered a low-level stable fluctuation period, and the annual mortality rate dropped to below 1% after 2011. From 2008 to 2023, Fufeng County, Meixian County and Chencang District reported a large number of cases, but Linyou County and other counties in the north showed an upward trend in incidence, with obvious seasonal characteristics. Cases were mainly concentrated from October to January of the following year, accounting for 75.91% of the total number of cases. Farmers were the main reported occupations, accounting for 80.19% of the total number of cases. The ratio of male to female reported cases was 3.30∶1. The age group of 35-59 years old accounted for 51.08% of the cases, and the proportion of the age group of 60 years and above showed an upward trend (χ2=331.44, P<0.001). From 2008 to 2023, a total of 1 559 619 people were vaccinated, and the vaccination rate of the target population aged 16-60 years reached 72.23%. With the increase in the vaccination rate, the incidence of HFRS continued to decrease. In summary, with the development of HFRS vaccination work, the epidemic characteristics of HFRS in Baoji City have changed, and the peak incidence has been controlled. The proportion of cases in the age group of 60 years and above continues to increase. HFRS vaccination is still an effective way of prevention and control, and vaccination strategies should be continuously optimized according to the characteristics of HFRS.
","PeriodicalId":24033,"journal":{"name":"中华预防医学杂志","volume":"59 9","pages":"1528-1532"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2025-09-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"145070835","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study is a retrospective study, selecting 3 524 children who underwent allergen screening at DiAn Medical Laboratory Center (Hangzhou) Co., Ltd. from January 2022 to January 2024 as the research subjects, including 2 012 males and 1 512 females. Among them, there were 1 098 infants (0-1 year olds), 1 673 toddlers (1-3 year olds), and 753 children (3-14 year olds). Immunoblotting was used to detect 21 allergen-specific immunoglobulin E (sIgE) antibodies. The positive rates of various allergens were calculated according to gender, age, and other factors, and the epidemiological characteristics and trends were analyzed. The results showed that the overall positive rate of sIgE was 60.33% (2 126/3 524). The main inhaled allergens were Dermatophagoides pteronyssinus/Dermatophagoides farinae (992, 28.15%), dog dander (295, 8.37%) and cat dander (181, 5.13%). The main food allergens were milk (696, 19.75%), egg white (541, 15.36%) and shrimp (205, 5.83%).
