It is designed to provide convenience and information for users' medical decision-making. However, through our pre survey, we found that many users asserted that the effects of OHI were limited and they often consulted more than one doctors for a specific problem due to their low trust in the skills of doctors. In this work, according to the social recognized theory, we explored the impacts of antecedent variables of trust, different levels of doctors' medical skills description (Level of CTE medical skills description: hospital classification, title of doctors and healing efficacy) on users' trust The results supported our hypotheses that the more detailed information the OHI providers represented, the more trust OHI users will have. The findings not only presented interesting implications for OHI design but also offered an opportunity to increase the OHI's influence on users' medical decision-making.","PeriodicalId":239892,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Service Systems and Service Management","volume":"88 6 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126307620","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In common queuing systems, the initial demand is divided into equal demands to each server. But, when customers are wait too long in a queue, they may turn to join another queue which have an impact on effective arriving rate of each queue. We study this kind of phenomenon from a queueing game theoretic point of view. We start with studying the equilibrium performances in a general M/M/2 service system where customers join a single queue. Then we extent the results to the target service system and obtain the optimal service rate and service price of the system. Some sensitivity analysis are also included in this paper.","PeriodicalId":239892,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Service Systems and Service Management","volume":"23 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133661638","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Recently many studies advocate big data research which one common object to bring in intelligence from the huge amount of data. Nevertheless, owing to the characteristics of unstructured data, extracting the value in the big data still requires further research. This paper demonstrates a case study on container throughput forecasting model based on previous socio-economic data. The objective is to create an intelligent logistics centre for port operations. First, descriptive statistics has been conducted to describe the potential influencing factors. And then a variable selection process was applied to confirm the variables which will be included in the forecasting model. Then a forecasting model can be built by support vector machine algorithm. To evaluate the performance of the proposed method, other forecasting models were used, and the results showed that the proposed method outperform other common models, and also has the ability to help the stakeholders to make decisions.","PeriodicalId":239892,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Service Systems and Service Management","volume":"60 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132165980","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The inter-connectedness that has resulted from globalization has facilitated methodization of higher education systems the world over. However, there are some important deficiencies of university ranking indexes such as taking into account the whole university as a single unit without differentiating according to different fields of study or research, being limited to some well-known universities, and not considering institutional characteristics such as size or age. This study aims to explore the leading global university rankings to determine the differences in terms of their ranking criteria, main indicators, modeling choices, and the effects of these on the rankings. By using the general method of statistics, we try to analysis the weight difference of the main indicators of the university rankings from a cultural perspective. We considered that the cultural differences fundamentally lead to the deviation of the weight difference of the indicators; constituting the direction deviation from the method and impacting the stability of the rankings from the result.","PeriodicalId":239892,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Service Systems and Service Management","volume":"427 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132405322","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Based on the existing research, we sets information hardware and software investment as explanatory variables, the number of highly educated employees as the moderator variables, the enterprise performance as the explanatory variables. This paper makes an empirical study of listed companies in manufacturing industry, the result shows that informationization hardware investment has a positive impact on enterprise performance, informationization software investment has a negative effect on enterprise performance. Besides, high degree employees will play a positive role in moderating the relationship between informatization hardware capital and enterprise performance, promote the positive effect on performance. On the contrary, the high degree employees plays a negative moderating role in the relationship between capital and enterprise information software performance, reduce the negative impact on the company's performance, so the highly educated staff affects the enterprise performance from the two path, and eventually promote to improve the performance of the company.","PeriodicalId":239892,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Service Systems and Service Management","volume":"515 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116213622","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

First, our findings indicate that China's GEM market also has “IPO Effect”, which is consistent with foreign capital markets that there is a general decline trend of corporate performance after IPO. Furthermore, before IPO, VC-backed enterprises have better corporate performance than those Non-VC-backed enterprises, but this is mainly due to the high earnings management level manipulated by VC. Finally, after IPO, corporate performance of VC backed enterprises is lower than that of Non-VC-backed enterprises. The results show that VC's participation will increase the decline level of performance from pre-IPO to post-IPO. These research results are of great importance to the guidance of Chinese venture capital towards a healthy direction.","PeriodicalId":239892,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Service Systems and Service Management","volume":"21 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128681630","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
