The article includes a review of the main expected results of higher education quality assurance, the main features of the communicative approach to learning a foreign language and the analysis of its application. The research material is taken from the coursebook Speakout 2nd Edition (Upper Intermediate) published by Pearson Education. The coursebook corresponds to CEFR, an internationally recognized standard. It comes with access to Pearson’s MyEnglishLab, an online platform with additional practice activities. A high-quality textbook is one of the key factors of higher education quality assurance, which provides the creation of appropriate conditions for personal and professional development of seekers of a higher education degree, the successful implementation of their educational goals and achievement of planned learning outcomes. The communicative approach involves the effective use of the English language in the educational process for the purpose of communication, exchange of knowledge in oral and written forms, sharing thoughts and information. This article discusses the structural and semantic peculiarities of German economic terms and terminological phrases; it also characterizes word formation tools and their role in defining the meanings of economic vocabulary and facilitating its translation into the Ukrainian language. The structural and semantic peculiarities of German economic terms and terminological phrases are quite complex and require careful study. German economic terminology is provided with various terms used in the fields of banking, accounting, finance, insurance, taxation, and other areas of the economy. The peculiarity of German economic terminology lies in its structural and semantic characteristics, which include both lexical and morphological peculiarities. Terminological phrases have a stable character in terms of their semantic specification. One of the ways to determine the meaning of an economic term is to use knowledge of methods and means of word formation. The peculiarity of the German language lies in its large number of word formation tools, such as suffixes, prefixes, infixes, suffixal abbreviations, and others. The use of these tools allows for the creation of new terms and terminological phrases that reflect new realities in the economy. This article is useful for those interested in linguistics, especially in the field of economic vocabulary. Based on the analysis of scientific publications, the methodical principles of correct and academically integer application of the artificial intelligence tools in pedagogical and translation practice have been outlined. Founded on the example of ChatGTP, the concept of the principal compatibility of its use with the norms of academic integrity has been suggested – for the improvement of learning outcomes of students and for the forming of critical rational thinking and optimization of time and resources use as well. Based on the personal pedagogic experience of the authors in teaching non-related – informational technological and philological disciplines and on the empirical material of completed classes with the use of ChatGTP, the weak points of artificial intelligence systems in the training of philologists and translators, the risks of their uncritical use, restricted efficiency in forming of professional competencies and especially of common background knowledge has been analyzed. The conclusion has been made about the necessity of combination the use of artificial intelligence in the real time mood with the forming methods of elaborated creative teaching tasks that do not provoke the plagiarism and about the increase of the share of vivid communication in foreign languages in practice of teaching linguistic and translation disciplines to prevent the domination of the hybrid quasi-communication with the chat-bot. Examining artistic dramatic texts as «other space» it was found that modern Ukrainian playwrights at the liminal stage resorted to creating the image of a parental house, a village, a provincial town, which realize in the texts the heterotopia function of a prison that breaks time; the heterotopia of the Maidan, Donbass as a museum and archive that accumulates time, and interpreted the current state of the country through the function of the heterotopia of the library in intertextual images, motifs and plots. At the postliminal stage, the heterotopia of the parental house, the town, changed its function to that of a museum. By resorting to heterotopia as an artistic image in dramas, playwrights have the opportunity to highlight the collision of a private and public character, which strengthens the dramaturgical conflict, to demonstrate how the personal spaces of the characters are presented in «other spaces», which helps to realize the specificity of the character of the heroes, they have the opportunity to embody «rituals of transition» between topos and images of “ritual sacrifices” that the characters are ready for in order to go beyond heterotopia. Heterotopias of the subject of broadcasting in modern Ukrainian drama are manifested primarily by the time-spaces of captivity, prison, hospital, educational institution, train, ship. Ukrainian dramaturgy of the post-liminal period, in addition to changing the function of the heterotopia of the parental home, village, town, train, represents the heterotopia of the shelter (bomb shelter). Playwrights actively involve heterotopic images that realize the author's idea of an artistic return of a character to his own past in order to find and reflect on mistakes, to get answers to questions or strength to fight from the past. Eggers’ novel “The Circle” into Ukrainian. The approaches to defining the concepts of compounding and compounds were described. One hundred English noun compounds and their Ukrainian equivalents were analyzed, the translation methods of these lexical units were determined. It was established that to convey English noun compounds in the Ukrainian version of D. Eggers’ novel “The Circle” the following translation methods were used: selection of dictionary equivalents (40%), loan translation (39%), explication (11%) and various types of transcoding, in particular: transcription (4%), practical transliteration (2%), mixed transcoding (2%) and adaptive transcoding (2%). Most often, the selection of dictionary equivalents and loan translation were applied, which made it possible to preserve the semantic integrity of the compounds and made them accessible for understanding by Ukrainian readers. Loan translation was also used in cases of conveying the meaning of proper names – occasional author’s formations that contained the word Circle and other components associated with the company. Less common methods were explication and types of transcoding, which contributed to the compactness of the translation, and also helped to preserve the authenticity of the noun compounds used by the author of the novel. To translate the most used N+N structural type of noun compounds from English into Ukrainian, T. Boiko used 5 methods, which are dominated by word combinations in which N1 was translated into adjective. Actual methods of developmental training are highlighted. The article also focuses on the special importance and role of developmental education, which involves the continuous development of the student's personal abilities. At the same time, the relationship between the student's ability to learn a foreign language and the result of mastering it has been established. The article substantiates the effectiveness and correctness of the use of modern multimedia technologies to increase the level of foreign language proficiency of students of Ukrainian higher education institutions. The need to change the approach to the application of new forms of teaching the subject, which is determined by the need for future specialists to have a high level of foreign language vocabulary, as well as to have the skills of fluency in a foreign language, in general, within the limits of their professional activity, is proved. Petrov (Domontovych). It was noted that both the studied authors became the founders of the Artistic Ukrainian Movement (MUR). This is an organization of Ukrainian émigré writers, founded in Germany in 1945. Small prose, which prevailed in the mentioned period, was distinguished by a variety of themes and writer techniques. Common and distinctive modern trends are defined using the comparative aspect. For example, fragmentation, the splitting the world into visual sensations, including color, graphic and olfactory, fixation by the characters of individual details of the interior, clothing, and appearance of other characters, film coating method. Among the linguistic features, we find direct speech and improper direct speech in Kosach novel, and indirect speech in Domontovych novel. Attention is paid to determining the sources of musicality of the works of the specified authors. Ways of displaying music in works are highlighted. The considered novels of Kosach and Domontovych have an organic combination of musical and theoretical positions with the views of the writers on literature. The tendency towards musicalization is reflected in the title, borrowed elements of “musicality” are used in fragments interpreting listening or performing music (in Domontovych) and a certain subtext. For Kosach, music shapes reality, replaces words and actions, expresses emotions. It was concluded that the constant discussion of music is the same in both authors. The usage of rycerz, żołnierze, kniaź, as well as substantive word combinations rycerski honor i sumienie, wielka sława rycerska, honoru i wszystkich cnót rycerskich are determined, which expand the fiction-image paradigm of the simulated linguistic portrait. It was found that the productive means of creating a linguistic portrait of the characters include the names twarz, oblicze, oczy, wzrok. The actualization of such words testifies to the method of modeling an internal portrait of a person through the signs of external behavior and specific actions, which is indicative of the writer's linguistic thinking. The tone of figurative and metaphorical artistic portrayal of a person's inner world is typical of prose writer's individual style which leads to the activation of text structures with functionally loaded lexemes of soul and heart. The Pole’s linguistic portrait is modeled by the sayings, which are filled with the characteristics of decency and good manners, introduced among the people under the influence of Polish culture of that time. The focus of the linguistic description of emotions, focused primarily on elucidating the mechanism of realization of the emotional potential of language units and on the formation of emotional additions to their linguistic semantics in the context of a certain linguistic culture, enables the study of emotional meanings that a linguistic personality transmits through language, and the creation of an effective method of formation her emotional competence. Modern linguistic concept is focused in the problematic field of emotiology (linguistics of emotions), which studies the typology of emotional signs-fixators of various emotions and their national and cultural specificity presentations The pragmatics of description and expression of emotions, their concealment and imitation determined the place of the linguistics of emotions in the pragmalinguistic and communicative-activity paradigms. In this regard, the author substantiates the expediency of forming the professional communicative competence of a philologist on emotional and value bases and shares the reasoning of scientists regarding the definition of such basic criteria for the formation of emotional competence of a linguistic personality as the ability to generate emotionally correct texts and adequately perceive the personal emotional dominants of other people's texts as a reflection other conceptual spheres and cultures. In the context of the raised problem, the method of forming the professional communicative competence of a philologist on emotional and value bases, which orients him to emotionally healthy communicative interaction and harmonization of life activities, becomes relevant. Having analyzed the content of textbooks, training manuals and collections of exercises and tasks from traditional linguistic disciplines for students of higher education in philological specialties of higher education institutions, the author came to the conclusion that language is represented in them primarily as a semiotic system. Therefore, the article presents considerations regarding the place of emotiology in the professional formation of a philologist. The relevance of the issue is that now more and more people are using social networks as a means to promote their business, and thus many experts and brands need translators, and especially simultaneous ones, who could help adequately represent products and services on the international market. The purpose of the article is to analyze the main challenges that translators face when working with text messages, comments and posts in social networks, namely the speed of reaction, the importance of context and non-standard formats. In addition, the peculiarities of translation in various social networks, such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and their influence on the process of simultaneous translation are considered. In the course of the research, such methods as observation, synthesis and analysis of information were carried out. The article presents an analysis of the main features of simultaneous translation, namely speed, brevity, informality, a large amount of visual content, emotional aspect, tone of voice and their structural-grammatical and lexical functions. The article contains recommendations for translators on effective and accurate simultaneous translation in social networks. Informational and explanatory functions, to which the whole article is devoted, are only its secondary purpose. The following main methods of simultaneous translation were also highlighted: functional substitution, transcription, transliteration, descriptive translation (explication), reduction, expansion and borrowing. In addition to this, we identified the main approaches used in simultaneous interpreting, namely targeting real-time, blogger, audience, social network and content. In addition, key aspects have found their way into translator training profiles and quality standards for translation services.
