The motivation for the establishment of the mentioned systems are machine failures within the warranty period for which the machine suppliers refuse to recognize the warranty, due to poor voltage conditions and frequent power sags within the industrial plant. Power quality problems are caused by external influences coming from the power supply network. For these reasons, a system of power etwork analysers was designed and implemented by the company Conseko d.o.o., Belgrade. This system monitors and records all relevant parameters of power quality (voltages, currents, active and reactive power, power factor, harmonic content, THD, etc.) in key parts of the hall 4 (molding, air conditioning, tool room, dining room, laboratory, etc.). In addition to this, the monitoring system provides complete insight into consumption and distribution of consumption at a given time interval, which represents an exceptional convenience for optimal distribution of internal consumption and financial calculation of power consumption of each subsystem, which directly affects to the economic profit. The Cloud subsystem is also installed in the system, so that all relevant parameters can be monitored in real time via a remote computer or through an application on a mobile phone.","PeriodicalId":236996,"journal":{"name":"Energija, ekonomija, ekologija","volume":"346 ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"138991724","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This issue is more complex by the connection of an increasing number of new users to the electricity distribution system, such as prosumers or electric vehicle charging stations. Among the many challenges that the electricity distribution system operator faces in his work are finding ways to reduce electricity losses in the distribution system and the costs associated with them, as well as difficulties in system management due to the connection of new system users. Some of the challenges are the: need for the modernization of measuring infrastructure, the necessity for automation of the power grid and the need for necessary investments in the power system in order to enable the connection of new users. In this paper, proposals will be given for improving the process of collecting data from electricity meters and calculating access to the electricity distribution system. Existing legislation will also be analysed in order to enable the improvement of the regulatory framework for the purpose of implementing the proposed solutions. Examples from the reference international practice in this area shall be also presented. Additionally, data on the consumption of system users at the level of one distribution substation at the hourly and monthly level for the reference year will be considered. Based on the conducted analysis, a model will be developed for changing the process of collecting data from electricity meters and the method of calculating access to the electricity distribution system. The paper will also present the results of model testing on several relevant examples, and the impact of the model on the work of electricity distribution system operators as well as on system users and participants in the electricity market.","PeriodicalId":236996,"journal":{"name":"Energija, ekonomija, ekologija","volume":"231 ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139013865","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The analysis was done using the finite element method using the FEMM 4.2 software package. For the modelling of the EMS magnetic circuit, a two-dimensional axis-symmetric model was defined and one characteristic section was simulated. Since a time-invariant magnetic field originating from a constant direct current is considered, a magnetostatic type of simulation is adopted. The paper presents the simulation results related to the value of the magnetic field induction and the attractive force of the electromagnet for several characteristic distances of interest. Hydrogen storage systems would also be part of the existing thermal power plant complex. The production of electricity would be carried out in a thermal power plant with a gas turbine powered by a mixture of hydrogen and natural gas, which would be built and connected to the power system at the site of the existing 110 kV substation. It would also be foreseen to use thermal energy that would serve for heating the households near the thermal power plant. Advantage of this type of analysis is its global character because it provides all system state matrix eigenvalues, i.e. system poles, within single system calculation. Existence of single system pole with positive real part indicates unstable system. Measure of relative participation of a particular state variable, which is correlated to particular generator, and particular system pole is provided by calculating participation factors. Sorting of participation factors for all system poles in descending order and establishing a correlation to certain state variable of particular generator provides feedback to generators that are dominant causes of existence of system poles with positive real part. The paper presents calculation of system eigenvalues and establishment of user feedback to generator causing appearance of unstable pole. The establishment of this feedback and elimination of unstable system pole by changing generator parameters is demonstrated on the example of the real distribution system of Leskovac branch with over 2500 nodes and more than 40 synchronous generators connected.","PeriodicalId":236996,"journal":{"name":"Energija, ekonomija, ekologija","volume":"229 8","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139019947","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This makes emerging power systems, and especially distribution grids, heavily dependent on real-time data from the field, as well as on the IT infrastructure for observation and control of field devices. As a consequence, emerging electrical systems are becoming fully digitized, cyber-physical systems with all the accompanying advantages and challenges. Such a power system is called a “Smart Grid”. As all cyber-physical systems, Smart Grids are heavily dependent on Information and Communication Technology (ICT) infrastructure. Therefore, they are highly vulnerable to attacks that can compromise uninterrupted data flow, such as denial of service attacks and interruptions due to natural disasters, cataclysmic events, or wars, as well as due to malicious cyber-attacks. In this paper, we summarize the state-of-the-art in the cyberphysical security of distributed energy resources (DERs). We explore pain points to which monitoring and control of DERs in emerging electrical systems are exposed due to malicious cyberattacks. We continue with analyzing the accompanying consequences to the safety and reliability of emerging Smart Grids. Finally, we present our idea of Digital Twin technology as a tool for assisting distribution system operators and grid engineers, to detect, attenuate, and prevent malicious cyberattacks in DERs.","PeriodicalId":236996,"journal":{"name":"Energija, ekonomija, ekologija","volume":"20 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139021489","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
