Abstract

This paper discusses the results of monitoring the operation of the steam-turbine unit of the 300 MW thermal power plant over a period of 2 months. During the monitoring, coal samples were taken in front of the mill-fan (3 samples/day) and data were collected on the fuel load of the boiler, temperatures in the boiler, temperatures of flue gases, content of pollutants in flue gases and realized gross power on the generator.
