Reading skill which is the main skill in English requires students to master it in order to obtain information as expected. This study used a Classroom Action Research (PTK) design. Data collection methods used are tests, observations, field notes and documentation. Data analysis techniques through descriptive with a quantitative approach by: (1) data reduction, (2) data presentation, (3) drawing conclusions. The data obtained are: 1) Class XI IBB students at MAN 4 Kediri experience an increase in learning achievement in reading Hortatory texts after the action is taken. The results of this achievement can be seen from the increased post-test scores as well as the results of observations of student and teacher activities. 2) the observation results describe an increase in the quality of student activities in the first cycle of 67.85%, while in the second cycle of 94.64%. Likewise the results of observations of teacher activity in cycle I amounted to 66.66%, increased in cycle II to 96.52%. Thus, it means that in cycle II student learning outcomes have increased compared to cycle I. These results are also indicated by the acquisition of student learning outcomes in pre-action tests, cycle I and cycle II. The success rate also increased from 73.35 in the pre-action, increased to 77.20 in cycle I and increased again to 84.35 in cycle II.\u0000ABSTRAK Tujuan peneltian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan membaca siswa pada teks Hortatory Exposition dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Sight Word. Ketrampilan membaca yang merupakan ketrampilan utama dalam bahasa Inggris, menuntut siswa menguasainya agar memperoleh informasi sesuai dengan yang diharapkan. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes, observasi, catatan lapangan dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data melalui deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan cara: (1) reduksi data, (2) penyajian data, (3) penarikan kesimpulan. Data yang diperoleh adalah: 1) siswa Kelas XI IBB di MAN 4 Kediri mengalami peningkatan prestasi belajar dalam membaca teks Hortatory setelah dilakukan tindakan. Hasil prestasi ini tampak dari skor hasil post tes yang meningkat serta hasil observasi aktivitas siswa dan guru. 2) hasil observasi menggambarkan peningkatan kualitas aktivitas siswa pada siklus I sebesar 67,85%, sedangkan pada siklus II sebesar 94,64%. Begitu juga hasil observasi aktivitas guru pada siklus I sebesar 66,66%, meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 96,52%. Dengan demikian, berarti pada siklus II hasil belajar siswa sudah meningkat dibanding dengan siklus I. Demonstration methods and personal evaluation in the development of teaching and learning activities for Citizenship Education (Civics) Subjects focus on learning activities on systematic demonstration activities which facilitate students' understanding of the learning material. This research is procedurally using systematics or class action research design order (CAR). This research model is very much in line with the role and function of the teacher who always takes corrective action at each post-teaching activity (KBM). Penelitian ini secara prosedural menggunakan sistematika atau tata urutan rancangan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Model penelitian ini sangat sejalan dengan peran dan fungsi guru yang senantiasa untuk melakukan tindakan korektif pada setiap pasca Kegiatan Belajar Mengajar (KBM). The learning process is fully directed towards the development of the cognitive, affective and psychomotor domains holistically. Thus the learning process as a whole produces quality that reflects the integrity of the mastery of attitudes, knowledge, and skills so that the achievement of these learning objectives can be determined by the motivation of students in achieving better learning outcomes. Based on the test results of class XI MIA5 students at SMA Negeri 2 Buru, it showed an increase in students' Biology results from the initial cycle to the final cycle. The increased activity and student learning outcomes in the use of the picture and picture learning model is marked by the increased frequency of students who are active in teaching and learning activities in each cycle and the increase in student learning outcomes from the initial cycle to the final cycle. Completeness of students' Biology learning outcomes in using the Picture and Picture Model in the initial cycle, that is, 12 students out of 34 students were declared complete with an average score of 65.44 with a percentage of 35.29%, in Cycle I of the number of students 34, 18 students Completed with an average score of 70.2, with a completeness percentage of .53.94% and in cycle II the number of students who completed 32 students with an average score of 79.55 and a completeness percentage of 94.11 which exceeded the target of 90%, then with Thus the researcher's target has been achieved. Interaction is centered on the teacher so that students tend to be passive. Increasing interest in reading plays an important role as one of the fundamental forms of forming children's character. One class that has a passive interest in reading is Class 1A SD Muhamadiyah Pakel. Prior to the research, only 10 (ten) students had completed the KKM (Minimum Completeness Criteria). This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of Grade 1 students at SD Muhamadiyah Pakel in the matter of nouns and verbs. This type of research is a class action research with research subjects in class 1.A, totaling 30 people. Retrieval of data in this study using documentation, observation, and tests. This research was conducted in three cycles, each consisting of planning, implementation, data collection and reflection activities. The data analysis technique used in this study was descriptive statistical analysis. The results showed an increase in learning outcomes from the first cycle to the next cycle. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the Program Based Learning (PBL) application method of Flash Card media can help students more easily arrange letters into verbs and nouns given by the teacher.\u0000ABSTRAKDalam proses belajar mengajar dengan metode ceramah (Ekspositori) tidak mengaktifkan siswa. Interaksi terpusat pada guru sehingga siswa cenderung pasif. Peningkatan minat baca berperan penting sebagai salah satu bentuk fundamental pembentukan karakter anak. Salah satu kelas yang memiliki minat baca yang pasif yaitu Kelas 1A SD Muhamadiyah Pakel. Sebelum diadakan penelitian, baru 10 (sepuluh) siswa yang tuntas KKM (Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan Hasil belajar peserta didik kelas 1A SD Muhamadiyah Pakel pada materi kata benda dan kata kerja. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas dengan subjek penelitian adalah kelas 1.A yang berjumlah 30 orang. Pengambilan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan dokumentasi, observasi, dan tes. Penelitian ini dilakukan sebanyak tiga siklus, yang masing-masing terdiri dari kegiatan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengumpulan data dan refleksi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah analisis statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan suatu peningkatan hasil belajar dari siklus pertama ke siklus selanjutnya. (2) Student and teacher activities when applying Number Head Together (NHT) cooperative learning in mathematics lessons with set material. (3) Student learning outcomes after applying the Number Head Together (NHT) cooperative learning model in Mathematics with Set Material. This type of research is action research conducted at MTsN Bakalan Rayung Jombang in Class VII-F. This study used two cycles, namely Cycle 1 and Cycle 2 with 2 meetings in each cycle. All data obtained from observations, tests and interviews. From the findings of this study, it was shown that in cycle I, an average score of 75.2 was obtained and as many as 17 students (56.67%) had achieved mastery learning while 13 students (43.33%) had not achieved learning completeness. The average score of student activity reaches 2.55 which indicates an adequate category while the average score of teacher activity reaches 2.6 which is sufficient. Whereas in cycle II the student learning outcomes were obtained with an average score of 83.5 with learning completeness reaching 86.67% or as many as 26 students while 4 students (13.33%) did not achieve learning mastery scores. The average score of student activity reached 3.55 which was in the good category while the average score of teacher activity reached 3.5 which was in the good category. This study explains that there is an increase in student learning outcomes by using the Number Head Together (NHT) cooperative learning model.\u0000ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) Hasil belajar siswa sebelum diterapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Number Head Together (NHT) pada pelajaran matematika dengan Materi Himpunan. Pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris dengan Penerapan Strategi RAFT (Role-Audience-format-Topic) dilakukan agar pembelajaran lebih variatif sehingga menarik minat belajar siswa, maka perlu dipersiapkan strategi pembelajaran yang dapat disesuaikan dengan irama belajar mereka, strategi pembelajaran yang digunakan harus menarik minatnya untuk belajar. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah: teknik pengukuran (teknik tes) dan teknik Observasi Langsung. Sedangkan Alat pengumpul data dalam Penelitian ini meliputi tes, observasi, dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Penerapan Strategi RAFT (Role-Audience-format-Topic) dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menulis Procedur Teks pada siswa kelas IX MTs Negeri Singkawang Tahun 2023. This research was divided into 2 cycles, namely cycle I and cycle II with 2 learning meetings in the classroom. And the results of this class action research were obtained in 3 ways, namely by observing, testing, and interviewing. In cycle I it can be obtained with the result that a student has completed learning if he has received a value of 75; then a class is declared to have completed learning if the class has reached 75% absorption. However, based on these indicators of achievement, students at MTsN 5 Jombang have not yet thoroughly studied norms and justice, because the results show that the number of students who have completed their studies is only 25 students or 67.57%. While the test results and analysis of test results obtained students who have not completed there are still 12 students if the percentage of students who have not completed is still 32.43%. This shows that improvement in learning in cycle I has not been achieved. When viewed from the analysis of the test results, it was found that the students' absorption was only 67.57%, which had not yet achieved optimal learning outcomes. For this reason, learning improvement will be continued with cycle II. While in cycle II, the identified problems have been resolved. Student activities in group discussions to find concepts and present teamwork results have shown good results. Besides that, students at MTsN 5 Jombang class VII are considered to have thoroughly studied the material on norms and justice, because the results of the analysis show that the total absorption power that has been achieved exceeds 75%, 78.38 to be exact. The research subjects were class VIIID students of SMP Negeri 1 Piyungan semester 2 of the 2021/2022 academic year. This research took place in two cycles. The first cycle was conducted in two meetings and the second cycle was carried out in two meetings. The stages in each meeting include four stages, namely planning, implementation of action, observation, and reflection. Data collection was carried out by observation, filling out questionnaires, and written tests. The results of the study show that by applying the discussion method assisted by audiovisual media in the process of learning to write persuasive texts, students' skills and activeness when participating in learning can be improved. The average result of observations of student activity has increased, in the first cycle of the 1st meeting it has an average of 75, increasing to 82 in the first cycle of the second meeting. In cycle II the first meeting the average was 85 and increased again to 95 in cycle II the second meeting. Then, in terms of learning outcomes to write persuasive texts there is also an increase. In cycle I, the average obtained was 74 and increased again to 85 in cycle II. Based on these things, it can be concluded that the discussion method assisted by audiovisual media can increase student activity in the learning process and persuasive text writing skills in class VIII D students of SMP Negeri 1 Piyungan in the 2021/2022 academic year.\u0000ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis teks persuasif siswa kelas VIIID SMP Negeri 1 Piyungan Tahun Pelajaran 2021/2022 melalui penerapan strategi metode diskusi berbantuan media audio visual. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIIID SMP Negeri 1 Piyungan semester 2 tahun pelajaran 2021/2022. Penelitian ini berlangsung dalam dua siklus. Siklus pertama dilakukan dalam dua kali pertemuan dan siklus kedua dilakukan dalam dua kali pertemuan. Tahap-tahap dalam setiap pertemuan meliputi empat tahap, yakni perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, pengisian angket, dan tes tertulis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dengan menerapkan metode diskusi berbantuan media audiovisual dalam proses pembelajaran menulis teks persuasif, keterampilan dan keaktifan siswa saat mengikuti pembelajaran dapat ditingkatkan. This article is reviewed using library research, examining the Project Based Learning model and the philosophy of mathematics education in terms of ontology and epistemology. The results of the study found that the Project Based Learning model begins with providing problems which are then sought for solutions through the given project. This is in accordance with the ontology of the philosophy of science, namely empiricism and logicalism. The Project Based Learning model also guides students to develop collaborative skills, critical thinking skills and problem solving abilities. Epistemologically according to the flow of constructivism that the process of constructing meaning from one experience is then discussed through a combination of experience that has been owned with new experience to produce new knowledge.\u0000ABSTRAKTujuan dari kajian ini untuk mendeskripsikan model Project Based Learning dalam perspektif filsafat pendidikan matematika secara ontology dan epistemlogi. Artikel ini dikaji menggunaka library research, mengkaji model Project Based Learning dan fisafat pendidikan matematika secara ontology dan epistemology. Hasil kajian menemukan bahwa model Project Based Learning diawali dengan memberikan permasalahan yang kemudian dicari penyelesaiaanya melauli proyek yang diberikan. Hal ini sesuai dengan ontology filsafat ilmu yaitu aliran empirisme dan logikalisme. Model Project Based Learning juga membimbing peserta didik untuk mengembangkan keterampilan kolaboratif, kemampuan berfikir kritis dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah. This research was conducted at Piyungan 1 Public Middle School in the Even semester of the 2021/2022 Academic Year. The subjects of this study were students of class VIIIG, totaling 30 students consisting of 14 girls and 16 boys. This research is a classroom action research (PTK) which consists of 2 cycles, Cycle I, and Cycle II, each cycle consisting of two meetings. The stages of this research include the stages of planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. Data collection techniques include observation and learning achievement tests. Data analysis used quantitative descriptive data analysis. The results showed an increase in knowledge test results, the average value in the first cycle of 76.67 increased to 84.00 in the second cycle. The number of students who achieved completeness was 22 (73.33%) students in cycle I increased to 27 (90%) students in cycle II, there were still 3 students in cycle II who had not completed. The results of the learning test achievement of class VIIIG students in maritime economics and agriculture material, the minimum class average score is ?77, the classical completeness has exceeded 85%. The results of the knowledge assessment reach the Minimum Completeness Criteria of 90%. The conclusion in this study is that the application of the Problem Based Learning learning model can improve social studies learning outcomes.\u0000ABSTRAKTujuan dari penelitian adalah meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi Ekonomi Maritim dan Agrikultur melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 1 Piyungan pada semester Genap Tahun Pelajaran 2021/2022. Adapun subjek dari penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIIIG yang berjumlah 30 siswa terdiri 14 perempuan dan 16 laki-laki. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari 2 Siklus, Siklus I, dan Siklus II setiap siklus terdiri dari dua pertemuan. Adapun tahapan penelitian ini meliputi tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi dan tes hasil belajar. Analisis data menggunakan analisis data deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan hasil tes pengetahuan, nilai rata- rata pada siklus I sebesar 76,67 meningkat menjadi 84,00 pada siklus II. Jumlah siswa yang mencapai ketuntasan 22(73,33%) siswa pada siklus I naik menjadi 27(90%) siswa pada siklus II, masih ada 3 siswa pada siklus II yang belum tuntas. Hasil pencapaian tes belajar siswa kelas VIIIG pada materi ekonomi maritim dan agrikultur nilai rata-rata kelas minimal ?77, ketuntasan klasikal telah melampaui 85%.
