Meanwhile labor market is differentiated. On the one hand, in the conditions of development of technologies, digitalization of economy are required highly skilled workers with the higher education, on the other hand digitalization leads to simplification of many labor functions owing to what also workers of low-skilled work are rather demanded. Research objective is identification of contradictions in trajectories of professional self-determination of school students and opportunities of professional development in higher educational institutions, colleges, in work. The hypothesis of a research consists in the assumption that trends of the choice of a trajectory of professional development of school students do not coincide with structure of a system of professional education of the region. In the region it is important to develop the development program of colleges and technical schools taking into account requirements of digital economy, including attraction of resources of large employers of the region.","PeriodicalId":235267,"journal":{"name":"International Days of Statistics and Economics 2019","volume":"23 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114209184","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

As a result some contemporary branding approaches are defined, efficiency metrics are outlined and a conceptual model for the study of key service(s) characteristics is proposed. The paper is part of a larger exploratory study that aims to gauge the competitive positioning performance of household services providers in Australia. The topicality of this work stems from the fact that despite the sheer importance of digital integrated marketing communications in shaping brand positioning, the author has found deficiency in assessing the role of the former and respective repercussions in the process of sustaining competitive advantage in the field of household services.","PeriodicalId":235267,"journal":{"name":"International Days of Statistics and Economics 2019","volume":"1955 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129564190","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Quality, or separation power of a credit scoring model is usually assessed with the Gini coefficient. Generally, the higher Gini coefficient the better, as in this way a bank can increase number of good customers and/or reject more bad applicants. In the paper a simple simulation framework for analysis of microeconomics of credit scoring management is presented. The model takes into account competition among banks (there are 10 competing banks in the model), risk-based pricing (the banks differentiate prices based on their credit scoring models), “loan-shopping” practices by credit applicants (each applicant checks the price offered by three randomly selected banks). Such a setup enables us to perform a simulation where one of the banks improves the credit scoring model used and benefits from it. As the simulation shows, even small changes in Gini coefficient may lead to substantial improvement of bank’s standing measured by its profitability and market share.","PeriodicalId":235267,"journal":{"name":"International Days of Statistics and Economics 2019","volume":"96 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131605251","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The monthly indicators are forecast to the time horizon of interest through an autoregressive process (AR). The data is aggregated to quarterly frequency and each independent variable is paired with the dependent variable (GDP growth). For each pair a distributed lag model is applied, and the forecast is obtained as the average of the forecasts produced by all pairwise models. The idea of using indicators with a higher frequency to forecast quarterly GDP data has been applied to the Euro Area and countries from Western Europe. Despite this, its application to Eastern Europe remains limited. We test our simple model on current quarter (nowcast) and quarterahead forecasts under two scenarios. In the first scenario only car-registration data are available for the first month of the current quarter, whereas in the second all data are available for the current quarter. We find that our model produces more accurate forecasts compared to a firstorder AR model using only GDP data. As expected, the accuracy of the forecast improves under the second scenario.","PeriodicalId":235267,"journal":{"name":"International Days of Statistics and Economics 2019","volume":"49 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127052730","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The retail sector of the Czech Republic was chosen as the object of analysis. The financial and economic indicators of these organizations were obtained from the database Albertina Gold Edition of Bisnode Česká republika, a.s. for 2014. The computer program IBM SPSS Statistics was used for regression analysis in order to conduct the research. The analysis of the obtained results showed that the increase in the efficiency of retail organizations in the process of their development can be described by a linear model with acceptable accuracy. The main factors determining the increase in the efficiency of retail organizations were identified and the authors confirmed the model of the evolution of the organizational structure of commercial organizations. The analysis of the constructed model revealed the factors having the greatest impact on the growth of the efficiency of retail trade organizations.","PeriodicalId":235267,"journal":{"name":"International Days of Statistics and Economics 2019","volume":"18 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126637970","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Consumer confidence in financial organisations has declined and the balance of power in these industries has generally changed. It was then that the most popular crowdfunding platforms were created. In this situation one can observe two phenomena. On the one hand, there emerged alternative ways of investing money without the participation of the financial markets through investing in crowdfunding projects. On the other hand, companies, inventors and creators gained the opportunity to obtain financing from alternative sources and not rely heavily on banking and investment industries. Also in Poland, the possibility of using such services appeared immediately after the crisis, which might have a positive influence on the development of the economy. The aim of the paper is to present the phenomenon of crowdfunding in Poland (connected with global processes) and to place it in the theoretical framework of economic sciences. The paper serves as an introduction to more indepth studies on crowdfunding and a summary of current research agendas.","PeriodicalId":235267,"journal":{"name":"International Days of Statistics and Economics 2019","volume":"20 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115894995","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In spite of its importance, issues related to inaccurate item registration, misplacement of goods, and inefficient movement of staff after warehouse remain. Each made error leads to an increase in logistics costs. More and more companies are constantly trying to implement automatic identification system in warehouse management that lead to the solution of these problems at the present time. The most applied automatic identification systems are the use of barcodes and radio frequency identification. The aim of this paper is the implementation of innovative automatic identification system in the warehouse that will lead to the reduction in human error rates when identifying items and increasing work efficiency. The paper is based on the case study, which is one of the qualitative research methods and very useful method in the scientific field. The case study will in detail present two of warehousing cases, which are processing of order for goods warehouse and processing orders for goods removal.","PeriodicalId":235267,"journal":{"name":"International Days of Statistics and Economics 2019","volume":"16 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115382687","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Russia’s economy is notoriously resourceoriented with the dominant influence of the fuel and energy complex, so this fact impedes a lowcarbon transformation. Currently, Russia is in a transitional stage, which allows to create favorable conditions for the future high-tech and environmentally safe development of the country's economy. Despite a number of challenges that have had a definite impact on the sustainability of the Russian economy, low-carbon development remains one of the focus areas of state policy, included in most of the targeted federal-level documents. The authors of the study are analyzing a set of state support and policy measures for the development of a green economy, in particular microgeneration and energy saving. The study contributes to the literature by proposing a new approach of complex evaluation of efficiency of different stimuli and supporting policies, which are introduced both independently and jointly.","PeriodicalId":235267,"journal":{"name":"International Days of Statistics and Economics 2019","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129802227","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
