Priests play a role in guiding the congregation to gain salvation, know God and have a soul that is increasingly purified from day a day. In carrying out this role there are conditions that must be possessed so that in his ministry, he becomes a priest who succeeds in shepherding the souls entrusted by God. For this reason, this study aims to provide an overview of the qualifications of a priest in the book The Priesthood and in 1 Timothy 3: 1-7. Through a literary analysis of The Priesthood and 1 Timothy 3: 1-7 the writer will explore the requirements for becoming a priest. The data collected will help the priests to be more serious in their ministry. According to Chrysostom the priest should not be a chaplain of the priestly office, have a clear mind, not be seduced by worldly desires, not be angry, not a person who loves praise. Meanwhile, according to the apostle Paul, the priest must be able to accept the responsibility of shepherding the church, have self-control, capable of teaching, be recognized as dignified in the family, well known in the community. The two opinions of this figure mutually support the success of a priest in pure service to the congregation. The result is that the priest fulfills the requirements to become a priest, so the priest can successfully serve the souls of the congregation that God has entrusted to him. AbstrakMenjadi imam atau pendeta secara tiba – tiba, yang hanya belajar Alkitab 3 bulan, merupakan isu yang dianggap sebagai persoalan dalam lingkungan gereja. Imam berperan dalam membimbing jemaat untuk memperoleh keselamatan, mengenal Allah dan memiliki jiwa yang semakin dimurnikan dari hari lepas hari. Dalam menjalankan peran ini ada syarat yang harus dimiliki sehingga dalam pelayanannya, ia menjadi seorang imam yang berhasil menggembalakan jiwa- jiwa yang dipercayakan Tuhan. Untuk itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran kualifikasi seorang imam dalam buku The Priesthood dan dalam surat 1 Timotius 3: 1-7. Melalui analisis pustaka Buku The Priesthood dan surat 1 Timotius 3: 1- 7 penulis akan mengexplorasi syarat-syarat menjadi imam. Data- data yang dikumpulkan akan menolong para imam untuk semakin serius dalam pelayanannya. Menurut Chrysostom imam harus bukan seorang pengejar jabatan keimaman, memiliki pikiran yang jernih, tidak tergoda dengan keinginan duniawi, bukan pemarah, bukan orang yang cinta akan pujian. Sedangkan menurut rasul Paulus imam itu harus Jiwanya sanggup menerima tanggung jawab penggembalaan jemaat, mengontrol diri, cakap mengajar, dikenal berwibawa dalam keluarga, dikenal baik di tengah masyarakat. Kedua pendapat tokoh ini saling mendukung keberhasilan seorang imam dalam pelayanan yang murni kepada jemaat. Through this paper, the author can describe the importance of the cell community in bringing about the value of close fellowship and kinship so that it can lead to church growth. Using the descriptive qualitative method, it can be concluded that the cell community is a system that must be implemented. Where this group will be able to run well if the community applies the characteristics of strengthening, caring, sharing, and belonging to each other in the concept of shared interests, as well as being a role in serving others. The community in the Acts of the Apostles or the early church became a community that lived in respect for others. The cell community in the Acts model becomes a role model for the church that will develop in church growth. AbstrakGereja  sebagai tempat bersekutu orang-orang percaya memiliki tanggung jawab untuk menciptakan, memelihara dan mengembangkan hubungan koinonia yang dapat membawa pada pertumbuhan gereja. Melalui tulisan ini penulis dapat mendeskripsikan bahwa pentingnya komunitas sel  dalam membawa dampak bagi nilai pesekutuan dan kekekuargaan yang erat sehingga dapat membawa pada pertumbuhan gereja. Menggunkan metode kualitatif deskriftif dapat disimpulkan bahwa komunitas sel mempakan suatu sistem yang harus dilaksanakan.  Dimana kelompok ini akan dapat berjalan dengan baik, jika dalam komunitas tersebut menerapkan karakteristik  menguatkan, memperhatikan, berbagi serta saling memiliki dalam konsep kepentingan bersama, juga menjadi role dalam melayani sesama. Komuntas dalamKisah Parah Rasul atau gereja mula-mula menjadi  komunitas yang hidup dalam menghargai sesama. But lately the existence of recruitment and selection has begun to enter into the church. Anyways church doing this thing with aim that the church gets quality servants. This can be ascertained because in the recruitment and selection process there must be pre-requirements or qualifications that must be met by the servants, and in this case the quality of service will definitely be tested. However, after the researcher saw one of the local churches in the Lippo Cikarang area, GBI Graha Bethany Lippo Cikarang, especially in the youth and youth category services, the researchers found that even though every servant in this place had to go through the recruitment and selection stages before serving, many of them could not committed to service. This is of course a problem. So that a question arises, can it be ascertained that someone who follows the recruitment and selection process has good service quality? The purpose of the researchers conducting this research was to determine the strategy for the recruitment and selection implementation and to compare empirically the service quality of volunteers at Teens and Youth GBI Graha Bethany Lippo Cikarang. The methodology used is a qualitative method with a descriptive and comparative research design. The interview informants in this study were ten people consisting of six servants who attended recruitment-selection, and four servants who did not participate in recruitment selection. Meanwhile, through the analysis of existing primary and secondary data, the researcher found four recruitment-selection implementation strategies, namely: (1) Making recruitment and selection an annual program; (2) Holding Ministry Expo; (3) Applying 3K program (Commitment, Character, and Skills) as the basis for Qualification to Serve; and (4) Implementing the Afferentive stage for selection participants who passed the recruitment and selection of servants. In an effort to compare the quality of service, researchers found that recruitment and selection did not have too much impact on the quality of service of a servant of God.AbstrakRekrutmen dan seleksi merupakan salah satu tahapan yang lazim dalam dunia pekerjaan sekuler. Namun belakangan ini keberadaan rekrutmen dan seleksi mulai masuk ke dalam dunia pelayanan gerejawi. Latar belakang dilaksanakannya tahapan rekrutmen dan seleksi dalam pelayanan adalah agar gereja mendapatkan para pelayan yang berkualitas. Hal ini dapat dipastikan karena dalam proses rekrutmen dan seleksi pasti trdapat pra-syarat atau kualifikasi yang harus dipenuhi oleh para pelayan, dan dalam hal ini pasti kualitas pelayanan akan teruji. In the Gospels Jesus often uses the Metaphor of God's Kingdom in conveying His teachings. Jesus often reinterpreted the concept of the kingdom of God formed in the wrong Jewish tradition with hope for its geographical nature. On the contrary in the Church itself, especially the Pentecostal/charismatic school. Interpretations of this topic are often taught partially in certain parts and not as a whole. Not a few seminars are held that discuss the condition of the age to come which is only centered on the second coming of Christ but the discussion of the present is ignored. The emphasis tends to be more eschatological in the future but less responsible for daily life. Jesus' emphasis on the concept of the kingdom of God never replaced the present with a state of being far away in the future. In essence, the picture of the Kingdom of God taught by the Lord Jesus recorded by the Gospel is full of spiritual values and not talking about the visible. Urgensi terbukanya ruang dialog publik pemerintah dan tokoh lintas agama adalah keniscayaan untuk merawat kerukunan hidup antar umat beragama. Konflik yang terjadi antar-umat beragama tidak murni disebabkan oleh faktor agama, tetapi oleh faktor politik, ekonomi atau lainnya yang kemudian dikaitkan dengan agama. Ended by the prophet Malachi and the book of Chronicles the Bible does not give any record. This certainly raises so many questions as to what happened in that dark age, whether God really did not do anything among God's people, especially the Israelites, while at that time the Israelites had repeatedly experienced good colonization from Persian, Greek or Roman. By using descriptive methods and historical analysis, this discussion will provide an insight into God's faithfulness to His covenant to the people, and how the concept of salvation has not changed even though in the 400 years that God did not speak to His people. Understanding the consistency of the concept of salvation is a gift in intertestamental times will open a new understanding of the power of God in keeping the covenants and His Word.AbstractMasa antara Perjanjian Lama dengan Perjanjian Baru seringkali disebut dengan masa intertesta-men yang berjarak lebih kurang 400 tahun, di mana sepanjang masa tersebut tidak ada nabi yang muncul menjadi penerus suara dari Tuhan. Diakhiri oleh Nabi Maleakhi dan kitab Tawarikh maka Alkitab tidak memberikan catatan apa pun. Hal tersebut tentu memunculkan begitu banyak pertanyaan dengan apa yang terjadi dalam masa kegelapan tersebut, apakah memang Allah betul-betul tidak berbuat sesuatu apapun di tengah-tengah umat Tuhan, khususnya bangsa Israel, sementara pada masa tersebut bangsa Israel berkali-kali mengalami penjajahan baik dari Persia, Yunani ataupun Romawi. Even though the general position has put the stream of pentecostal movement into heretical teaching, but their presence among mainstream denominations are common. Meaning, the oneness of people is mixed into the other denominations, and among local churches, they have treated just like the other denomination traditions. This article argues that Oneness is indeed a heretical sect. To support this thesis, the historical background for both the origin of the movement and the review of the current case of Joshua B. Tewuh and Bethel Church of Indonesia will be provided. This article's findings in the possible misinterpretation of  W.H. Offiler position in Oneness will be described as important evidence between GBI and Bethel Temple traditions.  The theological position of the Oneness, in addition, will be surveyed in detail to provide a framework of thought of its core doctrines. The survey will be focused on Christology position includes the similarity with other heretic teachings of modalism and Sebelius. In conclusion, this article will present the influence of historical and theological understanding of Oneness in pentecostal-affiliated Indonesian Churches.AbstrakPosisi teologis Oneness Pentecostalism dalam iman ortodoks menjadi perdebatan. Meskipun posisi umum ada yang menyatakan bahwa salah satu aliran pergerakan Pentakosta ini termasuk heretik (bidat), tapi kehadiran mereka di antara denominasi-denominasi arus utama tidak asing. Artinya, pengikut Oneness bercampur dengan denominasi lain, dan di antara gereja-gereja lokal mereka diperlakukan sebagai tradisi denominasi yang lain, seperti tidak ada bedanya. Artikel ini berargumen bahwa Oneness adalah sekte heretik. Untuk mendukung tesis ini, latar belakang sejarah dari asal pergerakan, dan kajian dari kasus terkini Joshua B. Tewuh dan Sinode Gereja Bethel Indonesia (GBI) mengenai isu ini akan dibicarakan. Penemuan-penemuan tentang ke-mungkinan misinterpretasi dari posisi W. H. Offiler akan ditunjukkan sebagai bukti-bukti yang menghubung-kan tradisi-tradisi antara GBI dan Bethel Temple. Posisi teologis dari Oneness akan diselidiki secara menyeluruh untuk memperlihatkan kerangka pemikiran dari doktrin-doktrin inti yang dipercaya.
