With the passage of time, the furniture industry has continuously adapted itself to suit the needs of the mass. However, in the time being, the design of furniture has become competitive in order to fulfil the increasing demands in the lives of human beings. More and more people are migrating to metro cities like Delhi National Capital Region, Mumbai, Bangalore etc., for better job opportunities. Due to lack of space in the compact houses in these metro cities, unlike the earlier times, people prefer easily transportable furniture and don’t take much space in the house. All these qualities have been seen the RTA (Ready-To-Assemble) furniture that are easy to transport, easy to assemble with the basic tools, does not take up much space in the house and can be used for different purposes like sofa cum bed. The preference of RTA furniture by the majority of masses in the metro cities can be observed on the demand and supply chain on e-commerce platforms like flipkart, amazon, urban ladder, pepperfry and both physical stores and online websites like IKEA and home centre etc. Fast-fashion is another reason for the rising demand of RTA furniture, in order to keep in pace with it, people have changed their preferences from long durable furniture to the modern and minimalistic furniture. This study presents an analysis of the furniture industry, taking RTA (ready to assemble) furniture as the focal point, since there have been a lot of advancements in every field; the furniture industry has also evolved a lot.","PeriodicalId":232897,"journal":{"name":"Architecture Engineering and Science","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-08-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130112408","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Based on the water jet impact model, Fluent is used to analyze different jet pressures, spray distances and nozzles diameter. The effect of the outlet diameter on the jet impact velocity and the impact area is studied. Through the study of three factors, it is found that the jet pressure has the greatest and most direct influence on the jet velocity. Therefore, adjusting the jet pressure is an important means to successfully complete the water jet cutting. The above research has a good guiding for cutting leather.","PeriodicalId":232897,"journal":{"name":"Architecture Engineering and Science","volume":"15 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-07-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114530004","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This paper proposes a position precision based on high precision position measuring tool automation testing methods, which can not only solve the low conventional manual test precision, and when the positioning accuracy is required to reach a higher standard, the error caused by manual measurement makes the measurement result fails to be used as the evaluation benchmark.In addition, it can automatically collect pose points in the process of repeated autonomous movement of mobile robots, and then automatically analyze the pose error when reaching a specific position point every time. It is suitable for repeated testing in industrial scenes for a long time, and achieves the purpose of improving test efficiency and productivity.","PeriodicalId":232897,"journal":{"name":"Architecture Engineering and Science","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-07-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130308262","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

For ordinary grouting materials, it cannot be injected into ultra-fine pores, and the tensile strength of its consolidated body is not high. Therefore, in this paper, ultra-fine cement and carbon fiber are used as the raw materials of the grouting fluid to increase the injectability of its fine pores and the tensile strength of the consolidated body. By designing experiments with different carbon fiber content, the grouting material with the best mix ratio was formulated. The test results show that: after the grouting material is mixed with graded sand to prepare a test block, the mechanical properties of the grouting material are optimal when the carbon fiber content is 1%, and the compressive strength is 17MPa and the tensile strength is 1.34MPa.","PeriodicalId":232897,"journal":{"name":"Architecture Engineering and Science","volume":"18 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-07-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124753268","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The hospital building consumes much more energy and generates more waste, as compared to the other types of buildings. The climate change, contamination of chemicals, and use of unsustainable resources are all making health worse day by day over the world. The health sectors are themselves causing these problems on a broad scale. So, hospitals, health sectors must be green, there must be proper management of resources, waste etc., which means that it must have a minimum negative impact on the environment. The term Green Hospital has evolved as a way of addressing environmental issues, overcoming them and meeting society’s need. In India, Green Rating for Integrated Habitat Assessment (GRIHA) is one of the tools that provides green building certification to hospital buildings also. This paper aims at analyzing and investigating a hospital building (Trauma centre), Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Aligarh, based on major criteria of the GRIHA variant for existing buildings. This hospital building had been provisionally-rated by GRIHA in the year 2016 as 3 stars. This paper includes the analysis of building based on various calculations and in depth study of how this 3 star rating was provisionally achieved. This paper involves two main calculations, one regarding peak heat gain and the other is EPI.","PeriodicalId":232897,"journal":{"name":"Architecture Engineering and Science","volume":"2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117123062","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
