This is why it is necessary to develop such OPL relay protection algorithms that would automatically adjust the setpoints for the changing environmental conditions. Relay protection performance analysis presented herein proves such automatic adjustment to significantly reduce the range of setpoint uncertainty.","PeriodicalId":230353,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Ural Conference on Electrical Power Engineering (UralCon)","volume":"135 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117349475","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The SRD is structurally made in the form of two units (engine and control unit), control unit is attached to the rear of the engine. According to the technical requirements (TR), the energy efficiency class of the engine must be at least IE3 and the electric drive must provide 150 % overload during an hour at the rated speed. In order to guarantee the TR requirements, the drive was designed with a power reserve. Tests of the SRD-15-1500 prototype showed that the engine efficiency is 94.3% and it is higher than the upper limit of the IE3 energy efficiency range, overheating at rated load was less than 30 °C, and at hourly 150% overload less than 50 °C. The results obtained during the tests show that mass and dimensions of the engine can be reduced with complying the requirements of the TR.","PeriodicalId":230353,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Ural Conference on Electrical Power Engineering (UralCon)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124425730","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The article provides the description of high- and low-voltage ASG developed computer-based models with automatic system of excitation control based on IGBT transistors ensuring the possibility of voltage amplitude and frequency adjustment. The studies were conducted in the MATLAB system using the Simulink and SimPowerSystems simulation packages. Modeling results indicate that the use of frequency deviation signal in the excitation system on rotor winding to control it, allows to reduce the frequency and voltage deviations occurring in independently operating ASG, in load connection and shedding modes, as well as during ASG energizing by self-synchronizing method. The comparison of synchronous generator with ASG when additional powerful load is connected in the system, indicates a wider stability range in the asynchronized turbogenerator.","PeriodicalId":230353,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Ural Conference on Electrical Power Engineering (UralCon)","volume":"7 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117165950","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The specified network isolation parameters relative to the earth were determined by calculations based on the methods developed at the Department of “Life safety”, South Ural State University (SUSU). Calculations of insulation relative to the ground in quarry distribution electric networks of mining companies in the Republic of Tajikistan have shown that the value of capacitance currents of single-phase earth fault lies within 0.1 A to 0.37 A and depends on development levels of the companies. The active insulation resistances of the network phases relative to the ground are in the range from 18 k k Ω to 112 k Ω, considering the change in the network quiescence coefficient. The network capacity relative to the ground is in the range from 0.09 µF to 0.34 µF. The data obtained is necessary for selecting a security tool and evaluating the level of security.","PeriodicalId":230353,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Ural Conference on Electrical Power Engineering (UralCon)","volume":"331 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115966126","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
