Abstract

Today there is certain disagreement over which method is the most appropriate one to solve generating equipment maintenance problem. Simultaneously, increasing attention in the field is being paid to heuristic methods, one of which, in particular a very fast simulated annealing method, seems to be perspective tool for this task. The research demonstrates opportunity to apply very fast simulated annealing method to generating equipment maintenance planning problem basing on comparison between the method and directed search ones as well as analysis results of dependence of planning results on the annealing method parameters.
