Learning as a system with refl ection directs to the implementation of refl ection analysis as an integral component of the development of the educational concept «Logic and critical thinking». The subject of\u0000the study is the phenomenon of a system with refl ection, directed to the description of the present behavior and the use of the received description to guide its activities. The specifi c nature of refl ecting systems is revealed based on the model of studying systems of this kind in the theory of social relays by M. A. Rozov. The refl exive nature of\u0000the description of activity is justifi ed from an empirical and theoretical position. The possibilities of a refl exive and over-refl exive approach to explication of the mechanisms of behavior of a system with refl ection are considered. The specifi cs of ecophilosophy and social and humanitarian directions of ecology are indicated. The human world is defi ned as a “home”, “place of being”, “existential territory” and is presented as an organic unity of interrelated and mutually infl uencing parties (natural, cultural, social, anthropological), characterized by interdependence, interpenetration and conjugation. The relationship “human — the world” is understood as an integral ecosystem, a complex of interacting and mutually reinforcing elements that are in a natural connection, synergy, harmony and cooperation. Trying to solve this task, the author focuses his attention on the B. Latour and G. Harman’s discussion on the essence of material objects. Analyzing their positions, the author\u0000states that despite initially diff erent philosophical attitudes, both thinkers consider the subject of their research in a historicist way, that is, as dynamic and changeable in the course of the time. This way of thinking, in turn, forces them to solve their program tasks, using the instruments which were developed in the frame of classical historicist\u0000thought. So B. Latour chooses to use the historicist methodology and G. Harman, in turn, reproduces its specific ontology. The following basic qualities of the elements are revealed: water is the source of all being and vitality, earth is stability and corporality, air is space, as well as the “breathing” of the spirit, fi re is\u0000the guiding and purifying principle. Fire, especially in its most refi ned manifestation of light, and also air act as a pair of «upper» celestial, active elements. Earth and water follow the «upper» elements and complement them. «Axis of the world» connects the earth and sky, uniting all the elements. As its manifestations, which set the vertical and center the cosmos, are the world mountain and tree, as well as fi re, such as the «center of the universe», Hestia of the Pythagoreans. Natural numbers such as 2, 3, 4 set the structure and dynamics of the development of nature and man. In mythopoetic perception, the realistic setting of everyday consciousness is inextricably woven into the holistic panpsychist symbolic picture of the world. An analysis of various historical eras is carried out in the context of identifying the most signifi cant views on evil. When referring to pedagogical research, the scientific discussion initiated in 2002 on the pages of the journal “Education and Science. Izvestia of\u0000the Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Education. The completion of the theoretical review was an appeal to the philosophical and pedagogical discourse of the development of the concept of pedagogical evil. The study revealed that philosophers are developing the problem of evil, while in pedagogy there is a certain stagnation in the acceptance of this phenomenon and its study.
