The specifi cs of ecophilosophy and social and humanitarian directions of ecology are indicated. The human world is defi ned as a “home”, “place of being”, “existential territory” and is presented as an organic unity of interrelated and mutually infl uencing parties (natural, cultural, social, anthropological), characterized by interdependence, interpenetration and conjugation. The relationship “human — the world” is understood as an integral ecosystem, a complex of interacting and mutually reinforcing elements that are in a natural connection, synergy, harmony and cooperation. Eco-philosophical priorities and eco-humanistic principles for the development of
this relationship are outlined: the principle of the priority of the whole in relation to parts, optimality, coordination and ecosystem.
