TRADITIONAL VALUES AS THE BASIS OF EDUCATION IN A MODERN RAPIDLY CHANGING SOCIETY

The article discusses ways to implement Decree No. 809 “On the approval of the Fundamentals of State Policy for the Preservation and Strengthening of Traditional Russian Spiritual and Moral Values”, determined by the essence of values as such. The article substantiates that the preservation and strengthening of traditional values is possible only through the organization of targeted education. At the same time, the problem of identifying the essence of traditional values and selecting those that could become the basis for determining the goals and content of education in modern Russian society is raised and in a certain way solved.
