Our numerical results show that the probability of eavesdropping attacks heavily depends on the shadow fading effect, the path loss effect, Rayleigh fading effect and the antenna models. In particular, we find that the shadow fading effect is beneficial to the eavesdropping probability while both the path loss effect and Rayleigh fading effect are detrimental. Besides, using directional antennas at eavesdroppers can also increase the eavesdropping probability. The filter is capable of realizing all the filter responses such as low-pass, high-pass and all-pass responses. It also works as a unity gain non-inverting amplifier. It uses a single current mode input to realize all the filter responses. The components required in this proposed circuit is one active and three passive components i.e. one CDBA, one grounded resistor and two grounded capacitors in which one is a virtually grounded capacitor. It is found that the passive sensitivities are very low. The theoretical results are verified by simulating the circuit in PSPICE software. Control laws for thrust and angular velocity are presented that guarantee the convergence of the trajectory tracking error to zero for a simplified helicopter model. The voltage signals are simulated from a ferroresonance model that represents a voltage transformer energized through a grading capacitance of opened circuit breakers. Different modes of ferroresonance voltage signals were obtained by simulating various value of grading capacitance, system voltage and interrupting time. The mode's identification is automatically determined by correlating the sustained period of different ferroresonance mode signal and the sustained period of tested voltage signal. Detecting the types of ferroresonant modes plays an important role as a pre-testing tool or diagnostic tool to identify the range of parameters that would lead to the fundamental frequency ferroresonance phenomenon. Firstly, a series of simulations was conducted with the frequency domain based alpha measurement method to assess the influence of normalization on the accuracy of alpha estimation. Then, by investigating the correspondence between normalization error and the dispersion of estimation results, we proposed a novel method that rectifies the normalization error by employing the estimation results of alpha. In general, power transformer contains liquid insulation and solid insulations to withstand stresses during operation. Transformer oils and kraft paper are commonly used. The lifetime of a power transformer is very dependent on the thermal aging of the insulations. Therefore, the investigation of thermal aging of the insulation is very important. This paper reports the investigation results on the thermal aging of composite insulation between mineral oil-ester mixture and kraft paper at 120°C and 150°C for 20days, 40days and 60days. The liquid insulation were mixtures between mineral oil and palm oil ester with composition of 100% mineral, 75%mineral(25%ester), 50%mineral(50%ester), 25%mineral(75%ester), and 100%Ester. Copper wire that has been layered with kraft paper is put into the liquid insulation samples. Parameters measured are breakdown voltage, resistivity, permittivity, loss factor, color scale, viscosity, and water content. The effects of the aging temperatures as well as the duration of aging on the dielectric properties are discussed. Tuning of PSS parameters has been done by Firefly algorithm (FA) by minimizing performance indices as an objective function. Tuning of PSS parameters by FA have been done in offline mode at different operating conditions such as dynamic load change. The objective function for tuning the parameters of PSS is integral time multiplied by squared error (ITSE). These sets of tuned parameters at different operating conditions are termed as knowledge domain. The states response violates from desired limits as the dynamic change in the system operating conditions occurs. Retuning of controller parameters have been done straight away from the respective knowledge domain to provide precise damping of signals of interest as quick as possible. The process is viewed as knowledge domain mapping. The system study has been performed on six area sample power system developed with UPFC connected between area two and three and PSS to rest of all the areas. The presence of harmonics has a greater impact on the terminal apparatus. Accurate analysis of Power system harmonics plays an important role to have a better mitigation. Windowed Interpolated FFT (WIFFT) based algorithms are gaining importance due to their accurate analysis. The major advantage of WIFFT based algorithms includes reduction in error due to spectral leakage and picket-fence effect. This paper represents the application of improved Hanning window based Interpolated FFT (IFFT) algorithm for harmonic analysis. The proposed algorithm is used to analyze a static simulated signal in MATLAB. The simulation results shows the effectiveness of Hanning window based IFFT compared to Hamming window based IFFT.
