Abstract
In this paper a versatile first order current mode CDBA based universal filter is proposed. The filter is capable of realizing all the filter responses such as low-pass, high-pass and all-pass responses. It also works as a unity gain non-inverting amplifier. It uses a single current mode input to realize all the filter responses. The components required in this proposed circuit is one active and three passive components i.e. one CDBA, one grounded resistor and two grounded capacitors in which one is a virtually grounded capacitor. It is found that the passive sensitivities are very low. The theoretical results are verified by simulating the circuit in PSPICE software. The simulation results confirms the validity of the circuit.
