This model aims at generating one of the three information when the other two information are given. We, however, encountered a problem in which the motion capture to contain maker occlusion. To solve for the relationship between the three data, we need obtain the non-missing data. This paper mainly focuses on interpolating the missing three dimensional position when the human body parts are out of the range of the motion capture camera. The result of the interpolation method to recover the best correct data is introduced and compared.","PeriodicalId":22200,"journal":{"name":"TENCON 2015 - 2015 IEEE Region 10 Conference","volume":"17 1","pages":"1-6"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"84316380","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To apply D-AMP in structured signals, we focus on a forward-backward splitting mode [5] and have to deal with signal bias in the backward shrinkage step. For deviation calibrating and better adaptation to structure clustering, we modify the BM3D (Block-matching and 3D filtering) based D-AMP method (named as BM3D-AMP) in two folds: 1) Iteratively optimize a data-fidelity term with total variation (TV) and wavelet sparse constraints, aiming to diminish the bias resulted from the splitting operation. 2) Suggest a more accurate initial-state estimation by using a sparse tree and finally accelerate the CS reconstruction. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm averagely achieves higher PSNR values than the BM3D-AMP algorithm.","PeriodicalId":22200,"journal":{"name":"TENCON 2015 - 2015 IEEE Region 10 Conference","volume":"141 1","pages":"1-4"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"85520945","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Little16, a RISC 16-bit micro-controller, is proposed and implemented in this work. Competitive size and ease of coupling make Little16 an alternative choice in light weight FPGA data flow controlling. Pipelined Little16 yields a clock speed of 311MHz on Xilinx Zynq7000 FPGA platform at the cost of 366 LUT-6 blocks and 310 Flip-Flops. The commutation failure is modeled and its influence on reliability of HVDC transmission systems is studied in this paper. First, the commutation failure mechanism of LCC-HVDC transmission systems is analyzed. Then, the commutation failure criterion is presented based on the concept of commutation area. Moreover, a concise equivalent reliability model of the commutation failure is built. The corresponding evaluation method is proposed based on Monte Carlo simulation. Furthermore, the impacts of commutation failures on reliability are studied by introducing the reliability model into the F&D approach in HVDC reliability evaluation. Extensive studies are conducted on a CIGRE benchmark system, which validate the presented methods. The evaluation results show that the commutation failures influence the reliability of HVDC system obviously. After the consideration of commutation failures, the energy unavailability of the HVDC transmission system increases more than 9%.","PeriodicalId":22200,"journal":{"name":"TENCON 2015 - 2015 IEEE Region 10 Conference","volume":"23 1","pages":"1-4"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"82281736","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this model, the effect of channel inversion charge was taken into account and potential distribution was approximated by dividing the source, drain and channel regions into several parts so as to facilitate the analytical solution to the Poisson's equation near the tunneling junction. Then generation rate and total tunneling current are obtained using the Kane's model. This model is verified by comparing the results with TCAD simulation and good agreement is obtained.","PeriodicalId":22200,"journal":{"name":"TENCON 2015 - 2015 IEEE Region 10 Conference","volume":"77 1","pages":"1-2"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"84054440","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We sort these designs into three types: (1) L-shaped strip array antenna, (2) patch comb-line antenna, and (3) planar aperture antenna. The designs share the following characteristics: feasibility of differential feeding for direct integration with differential mm-wave circuits, operation based on traveling-wave excitation for wide bandwidth performance, and compatibility with standard printed-circuit-board (PCB) fabrication technology for low cost. Addressing current demands and antenna limitations, we present some of our recent results on CP antennas operating at 60 GHz band in terms of fundamental operation, achieved antenna performance, and implementation.","PeriodicalId":22200,"journal":{"name":"TENCON 2015 - 2015 IEEE Region 10 Conference","volume":"103 1","pages":"1-6"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"80787484","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This paper illustrates effect of parallel resonance phenomenon to harmonic voltage and harmonic current amplification in power system by illustrated a case study for power factor improvement in power system with harmonic distortion and a case study for correction of harmonic voltage and harmonic current amplification when corrected power factor of power system with harmonic distortion. A power system model is established with MATLAB/Simulink. A non-liner load, which is a harmonic current source, is a direct current variable speed drive (DC drive). This paper mentions a direct current variable speed drive (DC drive) because it is the most type of motor speed control and it has a low power factor, resulting in a need for power factor correction. The mitigation of harmonic voltage and harmonic current amplification on capacitors when parallel resonance generated in power system is connection of series reactors (the detuned filter) to capacitors in a power factor correction device because this solution is cheaper and easier than other solutions.","PeriodicalId":22200,"journal":{"name":"TENCON 2015 - 2015 IEEE Region 10 Conference","volume":"1 1","pages":"1-5"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"83053973","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Our numerical results show that the probability of eavesdropping attacks heavily depends on the shadow fading effect, the path loss effect, Rayleigh fading effect and the antenna models. In particular, we find that the shadow fading effect is beneficial to the eavesdropping probability while both the path loss effect and Rayleigh fading effect are detrimental. Besides, using directional antennas at eavesdroppers can also increase the eavesdropping probability.
