Firstly, a series of simulations was conducted with the frequency domain based alpha measurement method to assess the influence of normalization on the accuracy of alpha estimation. Then, by investigating the correspondence between normalization error and the dispersion of estimation results, we proposed a novel method that rectifies the normalization error by employing the estimation results of alpha.
