It also effected to the learning process transition from offline to online learning system. The purpose of this research was to ascertain Applied Foreign Language students' perceptions of online learning. This study collects data through descriptive quantitative methods as main data, study literature as secondary data, and survey as data collecting method. The results indicated that some students of Applied Foreign Languages believed that online learning was still ineffective in its application, owing to a number of impediments, including unstable networks, a lack of comprehension of the provided material, a lack of space and time, and an unsupportive learning environment. The subjects in this study were students of class XI Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Kader Bangsa Palembang, totaling 22 people who were all female students. From the results of research and data analysis, it can be concluded that the hypothesis Ha can be accepted or tcount > ttable (30.53 > 1.721). Data collection was done by interview, observation, and documentation. Data analysis techniques were carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results show that the success of educational management applied to mentally retarded children cannot be separated from the existence of a good management process, namely from the planning process, organizing process, implementation process, and control process. The supporting factors for implementing such management include local government support, an adequate organizational structure, and the ability of teachers and parental support. To analyze the data consists of three activity lines simultaneously, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions.The results of observing can be concluded in class X-1 and X-2 are able to adapt using online applications in online learning. Meanwhile, grades XII-1, XII-2, and XII-3 have gotten used to online applications provided by schools in online learning. The problem examined in this study is how many levels of HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skill) questions are contained in the school exam questions. This type of research is quantitative. The source of the data in this study came from the document of the school exam questions for Indonesian subjects for nineth grade students of SMP Negeri 4 Dumai for the 2019/2020 academic year, which consisted of 40 multiple choice questions. Research method used is qualitative through phenomenological research with purposive sampling techniques, instruments used, namely observation, interview and data analysis refer to Miles and Huberman's theory. The results of observation obtained implementation of prakerin during covid-19 pandemic was not carried out for a full 6 months, but implementation of prakerin was carried out for 2 (two) months in DU/DI. The results of interview were obtained after carrying out prakerin, students gained new experience in the field of food and beverage processing, and knew the stages of food and beverage processing both about cookie dough, texture of cake dough and so on, new knowledge and experience in the industrial world and in the business world. Indeed, many students struggle with reading comprehension. This is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) research comprising two cycles of 4 stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. was used to analyze the test data. The result shows the average pre-cycle score was 63.83, the first cycle score was 73.77, and the second cycle score was 84.33. According to the percentage of students who qualify, there has traditionally been an increase. The percentage of completion in pre-cycle tests ranged from 10% to 46.6 percent in the first cycle and up to 90% in the second cycle. Data collection techniques include observation,interview and questionnaires,documentation, and the results of fields notes. The data analysis techniques used were interview and questionnaries. The results showed that: (1) parents of subject 1 applied permissive parenting and children’s learning motivation was in the low category, parents of subject 2 applied democratic parenting and children’s learning motivation was in high category, while parents of subject 3 applied permissive parenting and children’s learning motivations falls into the low category.
