Communication is very necessary in the continuity of the learning process, especially during this Covid-19 period. The Covid-19 pandemic has brought significant changes to various sectors, including the education sector, where all rely on the use of technology that can connect teachers and students, thus making it easy for students to get good network coverage to take part in online learning. This is a major problem for students who live in areas with minimal signal, where each student has to struggle to find a signal and even climb a hill which of course will be dangerous for his safety, as happened in Pationgi village, where the location is very far from the city, resulting in network coverage in the village is very minimal. The implementation of PKM will be a solution for the community in providing an alternative by converting used frying pans into simple signal amplifiers. This used skillet will be combined with a repeater equipped with unshielded twisted pair (UTP) cable so that the signal produced is much better and facilitates internet access through the empowerment of the youth of the Pationgi village mosque. The impact of implementing PKM supports the learning process during the Covid-19 pandemic, increases partner creativity and supports digital literacy programs.","PeriodicalId":219902,"journal":{"name":"Unri Conference Series: Community Engagement","volume":"21 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-11-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115134409","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

As one of the largest islands in Indonesia, Kalimantan stores various types of wood-producing plants, especially wood from tropical forests. In addition, most of the products sold at the Inpres Market are woven fabrics with typical Kalimantan motifs. With these resources, of course, it is highly expected to be developed as a typical regional product. The purpose of this activity is to ignite diversity and improve the quality of souvenir products produced by the people of the Inpres Market area, through a social entrepreneurship approach based on the capabilities and resources of the region. Assistance activities for creative product development with a combination of wood pieces and woven fabrics are needed to initiate independent communities in the pandemic era through knowledge and skills in producing superior products from waste materials. The current condition, the ability of teachers in developing assessment instruments is still low. They prefer shortcuts using a collection of questions sold in the market. Therefore, this community service activity is focused on providing guidance for junior high school teachers in preparing tests to face the AKM. The method used to achieve the objectives of this activity is a lecture with an in-on-in pattern. Documents that need to be prepared so that the service runs effectively are preparing powerpoint materials and supporting materials (observation sheets and questionnaires). All participants' responses to the AKM surgical workshop showed a positive response (with a percentage above 50%), except for one variable that received a low score, namely the login problem. The results of the documentation analysis showed that all participants collected the complete set of questions completely. The accuracy of writing the grid is in the range of 69% - 75% and the accuracy of writing the questions lies in the range of 84% - 100%. Based on the results of the questionnaire and the results of document analysis, it can be concluded that community service in AKM workshop activities is quite effective.","PeriodicalId":219902,"journal":{"name":"Unri Conference Series: Community Engagement","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-11-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122519922","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The government has made various rules and policies in dealing with pandemics and the impacts they cause but are more top-down and common which often do not touch on substantive things in accordance with real conditions in the local community. On the contrary, local communities that better understand their environmental situation and conditions are often not involved in determining the rules and policies in addressing this pandemic. Kampung Tangguh as an effort by the community to survive during a pandemic is a form of local wisdom-based community involvement in the community itself in helping the government overcome the Covid-19 pandemic and the impact it causes. Using a qualitative approach through field reviews, interviews, and documentation studies, this paper illustrates the form of community participation in addressing the Covid-19 pandemic. From the results of this study, it is seen that people at the village level or the neighborhood where they live can actively participate together in overcoming the spread and impact of Covid-19.","PeriodicalId":219902,"journal":{"name":"Unri Conference Series: Community Engagement","volume":"20 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-11-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124746567","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
