Yuliati, Yetti Elfina S","doi":"10.31258/unricsce.3.133-140","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.31258/unricsce.3.133-140","url":null,"abstract":"The purpose of this community service activity is to transfer knowledge and technology about artificial spawning of pearl catfish (Clariasgariepinus Burchell, 1822) to the Unggul Farm fish hatchery unit in PangkalanBaru Village, Kec. Siak Hulu District. Kampar. This activity was carried out on July 12 - August 12, 2021. The results of the evaluation carried out by giving a pretest and post test showed that of the 10 (ten) participants who took part there was a comparison that before carrying out the service activities applying artificial fish spawning was still low. However, after participating in the activity, participants were able to understand about artificial catfish hatchery. The method is direct demonstration and active participation in applying artificial spawning technology, namely the process of removing eggs and sperm by stripping and surgery, so that eggs and sperm are obtained in maximum numbers. Artificial spawning results produce 20,000 larvae or a number of 3 tanks with a size of 5.5 X1 X 0.5 m. Natural spawning is carried out by the Unggul Farm fish hatchery unit each spawning period producing 5000 larvae in a 5.5 X1 X 0.5 m container. Badoghak comes from the Kampar District language which means savory taste. The purpose of implementing this activity for the community is to train the Mina Sejahtera MSE group in creating new innovations in processing fishery products in the form of Badoghak Noodles and Spicy Sauce Fishball noodles as regional superior products that are economically viable. The benefits of this activity in addition to the formation of MSE groups that can make both badoghak noodles and spicy sauce fishball noodles products so that in the end they can increase the income of the MSEs group, they can also develop the potential of the area. From the results of this activity, it was found that training in new product development innovation in the Mina Sejahtera MSE group has been successfully implemented and has been introduced/promoted both at the local and national scale. This enormous potential has led to the growth of SMEs for community groups to take advantage of these opportunities in the Gaplek production business. Furthermore, this potential is an opportunity for the growth of Business Groups in the area. The Gaplek Maju Bersama Business Group consists of 20 farmers. This Gaplek business can increase the income of farmers, because cassava if sold in the market costs only Rp. 350 per kg, whereas if it is in the form of Gaplek it can reach a price of Rp. 2000/Kg. The current condition of Gaplek production is very little because there is no technology for making Gaplek, so that production only reaches 300 kg to 400 kg per day, this too depends on the weather. The purpose of this activity is to create a mini factory for making Gaplek with a production capacity of 1 ton/day by applying long-distance system technology based on biomass energy, which is very well applied in the new normal conditions of Covid 19. The method used in this activity is to design industrial control system technology. The long distance applied in the manufacture of the Gaplek mini factory will reduce contact time between workers, this is in accordance with new normal conditions. Based on information from residents of RT 02 RW 10 Km 5 Jalan Rangau, Pematang Pudu Village often floods. Floods in this area can be caused by overflowing river water, reduced rainwater catchment areas due to construction and land clearing. This biopore infiltration hole is a simple technology that does not require expensive and effective rainwater absorption. In addition, through this technology, it can reduce organic waste and make biocompost to be used as organic fertilizer that can fertilize plants. The purpose of this service activity is to provide knowledge and skills to the community about the benefits of vertical biopore technology and increase public awareness to prevent flooding. The method used in this service activity is the delivery of material using powerpoint media and field practice and involving community members in RT 02 RW 10 Pematang Pudu Village. The results of this service activity show that 38% of socialization participants have a score range between 75-80, 13.66% of socialization participants have a range of values between 85-90, and 28% of socialization participants have a range of values between 95-100. Until now, the remaining sap for making shell sugar and ballo drinks has not been solved. Utilization of the remaining juice into vinegar is a form of counseling by the community service team at the University of Muhammadiyah Bone. The existence of this innovation can be a solution for partners' problems regarding the utilization of the remaining palm sap and has a high selling value. This counseling was attended by 7 people consisting of Women community of PKK Bulu Ulaweng Village. The activities carried out were in the form of an introduction to the purpose of holding training dissemination through community service activities, exposure to tools and materials and the stages of making natural vinegar from ballo. Bedda Lotong used to be only used by the daughters of nobles, especially the descendants of Arung Paria and Bugis brides who were about to get married. However, the production of Bedda Lotong has begun to disappear and is only produced on a family scale which is carried out in a subsystem during spare time and is managed traditionally. The partnership program for the community focuses on promoting Bedda Lotong as a Bugis-Makassar ethno-spa. The activities carried out were in the form of counseling in the form of awareness of the benefits of Bedda Lotong, training and demonstrations on the processing of Bedda Lotong for partner groups, and mentoring. The results obtained from this partnership program are that the community is able to process rice groats and other ingredients into Bedda Lotong scrubs and a differentiation product, namely Bedda Lotong powder. So far, fishery products have not been used for processing into snack products. Processing fishery products into snack products can increase the economic value of fishery products. The purpose of this community service activity is to provide science and technology to members of the Sinar Mentari Business Group, Sungai Geringging Village, Kampar Kiri subdistrict, Kampar Regency in processing fishery products into snack food products in the form of fish skin chips, fish surimi, fish sausage, and fish dimsum as well as technology for using good packaging and packing. The method used is the lecture method, discussion, and direct practice in the field about the material that has been discussed. The results of the evaluation of changes in knowledge of 10 members of the Sinar Mentari Business Group showed that 8 people (80.00%) had been able to absorb the material given with a very good predicate (A value), 2 people (20.00%) could absorb the material given. with a good predicate (B value), while those with sufficient predicate (C value) and less predicate (D value) were not found. The results of the skills evaluation carried out showed that members of the Sinar Mentari Business group had tried to process fishery products into snack food products in the form of fish skin chips, fish surimi, fish sausage, and fish dimsum as well as good packaging and packing technology. Computational thinking is considered as one of the basic competencies to complete these skills. After entering a higher level students will be introduced to learning that involves technology and it requires sufficient understanding to easily understand the basics of computer technology logic. Some elementary schools still do not use technology to encourage students' computational thinking skills. During the Covid-19 pandemic, students had difficulty understanding learning materials and decreased student interest in learning. The elementary school curriculum in Umeanyar Village has not implemented computational thinking, this makes it difficult for students to understand the logic of computer technology at higher school levels and material concepts that require critical thinking logic. Therefore, the purpose of this activity is (1) to educate students on how to use the scratch application as a method to introduce mathematical and computational thinking in elementary schools and (2) to provide hands-on experience for students to introduce simple programming concepts by creating animation projects and games and fostering cooperation between each other so that the learning atmosphere is more interesting. These objectives can be achieved by means of preliminary studies, implementation of training and mentoring, and evaluation. After providing material and training, students are invited to make a games and animation project for 3 meetings which are held every Saturday. The results obtained by students after participating in this training are increased understanding and experience of how to use computers and students can create animations and simple games with the scratch application. Previously, students were still unfamiliar with using computers and computer applications and had difficulty understanding how to operate the software. Students still need assistance and support from the surrounding environment in implementing this training. For this reason, village heads and schools need to work together to support their students through various training activities that provide knowledge and insight for the next level of education. This village has a lot of potential, but still has problems to be an independent village. In this case, this service activity aims to provide the ability to manage agarwood plants to improve the community's economy as the village's superior product. This service activity is targeted at BUMDes managers, farmer groups and PKK women. This service method uses a Community Based Tourism (CBT) approach. The implementation of service activities is carried out by starting with community socio-economic mapping, holding FGDs, and providing training. Service activities found that there was a lot of potential on the one hand, but on the other hand there were still problems with the community's economy. The FGD was held to discuss the problems that exist in Koto Sentajo Village. This FGD activity contributes to increasing community understanding of the importance of developing gaharu plants, because this village has a large forest area and land as a provider of raw materials. The training focused on the manufacture, packaging and marketing of gaharu tea as the village's flagship product. However, these cadres have never received education regarding the implementation of service procedures for the community. So that sometimes, miscommunication occurs in the implementation of activities, and there are several complaints from the public regarding the quality of services provided. The D-IV Applied Business Administration (ABT) Study Program offers a solution by providing service management training to sub-district staff, Posyandu cadres, PKK, and Karang Taruna in improving village services to rural communities.
