In order to overcome the problem of imprecise parameters under uncertain environment, we introduce the fuzzy underlying asset price, fuzzy interest rate, fuzzy dividend rate and fuzzy volatility to establish a fuzzy pricing model for Asian options. The fuzzy price formula for the European continuous geometric vanilla Asian option and fuzzy approximate price formula for its corresponding arithmetic Asian option are then obtained. These formulas are more flexible and subsume the results of the crisp models as their special cases. Numerical results show that the proposed fuzzy pricing model can be used to help the investor choose a suitable Asian option price with an acceptable belief degree for the later use.","PeriodicalId":216006,"journal":{"name":"2010 International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Education (ICAIE)","volume":"74 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-11-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130928441","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In the paper introduce a hybrid approach that simultaneously applies Genetic Algorithm (GA), and tabu search (TS) to create a generally well-performing search heuristics, and combat the problem of premature convergence. This algorithm uses GA to search the area where the best solution may exist in the whole space, and then. When the algorithm approaches to the best solution and the search speed is too slow, we can change to the effective local search strategy—TS in order to enhance the ability of the GA on fine searching. It makes the algorithm get rid off the prematurity convergence situation. We apply this algorithm into the geometric constraint solving. The experiment shows that the hybrid algorithm has the effective convergence property and it can find the global best solution.","PeriodicalId":216006,"journal":{"name":"2010 International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Education (ICAIE)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-11-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128903429","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Based on organizational socialization theory, this empirical study analyzes the factors affecting college students' internship satisfaction. The major finding is that: the organizational socialization tactics adopted by the organizations and information seeking behaviors taken by college students has significant effects on internship satisfaction. In particular, the socialization proximal outcomes, namely, task mastery and social integration, serve as the mediator between the affecting factors and internship satisfaction.","PeriodicalId":216006,"journal":{"name":"2010 International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Education (ICAIE)","volume":"6 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-11-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116982476","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The m-p ESA can obtain the optimized value of parameters by minimizing the cost function to achieve the desired performance and avoid the interaction of parameters by the multiple channels design. Therefore the utilization of the m-p ESA can simplify the process of parameter adjustment. In addition, the stability is analyzed by Lyapunov theory The simulation results demonstrate the backstepping controller optimized by the m-p ESA is effective.","PeriodicalId":216006,"journal":{"name":"2010 International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Education (ICAIE)","volume":"6 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-11-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128180562","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Current recommender systems often generate recommendation on users' opinions on items, and have several fatal weaknesses. With the growth of web social networks, a new kind of information is available: trust rating expressed by an user on another user. The web-based nature of this information makes it ideal for use in a variety of intelligent systems that can take advantage of the users' social and personal data. In this paper, we analysis the problem of trust in social network, then propose a recommender system model based on social network trust and discuss the recommender methods‥","PeriodicalId":216006,"journal":{"name":"2010 International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Education (ICAIE)","volume":"31 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-11-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121561290","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
