The measurement results are performed to study the channel characteristic of the radio wave propagation in the durian orchard. The communication channel is connected from sensor node to communication node and between communication node. The transmitter is setup at the bole of a durian tree for one communication node, and the received power by spectrum analyzer is used for the other communication node. Moreover, the transmitter is setup on the branch of durian tree for the sensor node placed on a durian. The signal strength is measured by spectrum analyzer. The sampling time of two seconds is employed to collect the signal strength for histogram plot. The statistical models, such as the Rican distribution and normal distribution are employed to fit the measurement results. The licensed frequency band of interest is resolved into a series of contiguous frequency bins via the FFT engine of the detector. By employing forward consecutive mean excision (FCME) algorithm and exploiting primary user (PU) signal's contiguity in frequency domain, computationally simple pre-processing of raw spectrum observation data and post-detection processing of decisions are proposed to perform frequency bin cluster based spectrum sensing. The controller composes of a PD controller and a sliding mode controller. The PD controller is implemented to control the position of the cart to swing up the pendulum from the natural pendent position to around the upright position, while the sliding mode controller is implemented to stabilize the inverted pendulum in the upright position. Root-locus method is applied to design the PD controller and LQR method is employed to design the sliding mode controller. With the help of multiple secondary users (SU) in the cognitive radio network, various cooperative sensing schemes are investigated to enhance the energy detection performance. However, the impacts of noise power fluctuating effects on the detection performance in multipath fading and user cooperative sensing scenarios are seldom evaluated in relevant literature. In this paper, a modified version of the classic energy detection model is presented, where the noise power uncertainty (U) is introduced into threshold setting. With a reasonable approximate derivation, we provide accurate predictions of SNRwall constraints imposed by U in Rayleigh fading environments. In addition, by employing a simple hard decision fusion rule, the collaborative gain in spectrum sensing performance is also quantified with respect to U. The proposed logic circuit operates at high frequency region owing to the deep non-saturation operation by using the bootstrapped technology. To confirm some characteristics of the proposed circuit, an inverter and a NAND gate circuits are simulated. Especially, it is true for mobile computing due to its diversity. Since IPS has been developed in the form of software, it has problems of CPU resources, processing speed, and failure risk due to interference with applications. Thus, they cannot be installed in mobile platforms. In order to overcome the shortcoming of software IPS, we have so far exploited a hardware-and host-based IPS or H-HIPS. We focus in this paper the implementation of Winny packets detection unit in H-HIPS considering its importance. Although Winny is a useful file exchanging software, it is also a cause of information leakage. This is serious in view of especially corporation, government, and academic. Firstly, we exploit a detection algorithm. Then, it is implemented in FPGA. This is compared with regular software IPS. The similarity measure is based on the multidimensional generalization of the Wald-Wolfowitz (MWW) runs test and the k-means clustering algorithm. Consequently, if the received waveform is sampled with sufficiently fast rate, the resulting discrete-time signal is band-limited and exhibits a smooth waveform. The proposed method exploits this smooth property for estimating the channel impulse response, via an interpolation formula. One block of transmission is sufficient to estimate the channel, making the method suitable for mobile communication environment, in which the channel characteristic changes in a relatively short time span.
