The research method uses an associative quantitative approach and data collection in May 2024. The research was conducted by speaking English and distributing questionnaires using Google Forms. The research sample was selected using a saturated sample technique of 70 students consisting of classes XI Hospitality 1 and XI Hospitality 2. This study shows that students' self-confidence is in the medium category and students' English speaking ability is in the good category. The results of the regression test in this study showed that there was an influence of self-confidence on students' English speaking ability with a p-value of 0,002<0.05. This study shows that the higher the student's self-confidence, the better their English speaking ability and vice versa, if the student's self-confidence is low, the worse their English speaking ability will be.","PeriodicalId":210039,"journal":{"name":"International Education Trend Issues","volume":"22 3","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141817368","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The development of information technology today is proven by the emergence of artificial intelligence (AI). Research related to AI in the field of education to this day still continues to be studied and researched. Therefore, there is a need for a literary study to find out the trends of research on artificial intelligence in the field of education in order to facilitate further researchers in determining the themes of their research. This research aims to collect, identify, evaluate, analyze, interpret, and conclude similar research that deals with artificial intelligence in education. The research method uses library study with bibliometric analysis and SLR techniques. The results of this research are divided into four sections according to the research questions studied in 98 articles relevant to research topics. The four components are the benefits of AI, the application of artificial intelligence, the positive and negative impacts of AI, and the challenges to be faced with AI.","PeriodicalId":210039,"journal":{"name":"International Education Trend Issues","volume":"2 12","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-05-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140974548","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This behavior is identical to the tendency in spending too much money with the inability to control purchase of goods and services that are not in priority. Impulsive shopping, lack of financial planning and the tendency to prioritize prestige within their social setting. These behaviors are frequently observable among teenagers or, in this case, university students. They would be avoidable, if students have self-control to follow a rational consumption pattern. Consumptive behavior among university students should be watched carefully because it would have an impact on students’ personal wellbeing, mental health and academic advancements. Overbuying on goods should be controlled through improvement of personal financial awareness, development of prudent financial management habit and learning to differentiate between needs and wants. The family setting, as an informal education to support formal education, has a role in forming students’ mindset. Habit formation, exemplar and explanation from parents are major elements in forming a child’s mindset to behave in an economically rational way. Habits are taught by parents. Financially responsible habits are formed by the parents in their children. Through exemplars, parents provide examples on how to consume through the practices of financial management. Explanations are provided by the parents on the importance of living prudently","PeriodicalId":210039,"journal":{"name":"International Education Trend Issues","volume":"33 5","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-04-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140652264","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

If ignored, there will be chaos in all aspects of life because of ignorance. In this article, we discuss the educational responsibilities of children, these responsibilities are \"photographed\" from an Islamic perspective. This responsibility, if fulfilled, must have a clear foundation and must be strongly supported by pillars. Obtaining Islamic education is the right and obligation of all Muslims. The foundation is Islamic Aqidah and the first organizer is the family, namely parents, the main organizer is the government which is operationally implemented by the school. There must be teachers who are competent and have an Islamic personality. The community becomes a supporting organizer, so that the government's burden is lighter and education services are more evenly distributed. Family, school, community and government work synergistically. Help each other, strengthen and compete in advancing education. So that the goal of Islamic education can be realized, namely to produce people who are faithful, devout and have mastery of science and technology. In other words, it produces people with character, namely good people, people who have good hearts, good thoughts, and do good deeds.","PeriodicalId":210039,"journal":{"name":"International Education Trend Issues","volume":" 719","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-03-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140092185","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
