Capitalizing on this model and novel equation for estimating a student's knowledge level has been also derived. Parameters in derived equation are then optimized by minimizing the root mean square error between classical test results of students and result of estimation model calculated by equation. Knowledge level gain, acquired by using the application is estimated and presented in the function of equation parameters as another performance measure. Sensitivity of obtained performance measures has also been observed. Furthermore, making public the locations of public transportation units can also be useful. It not only helps the transportation providers, but the clients, as well. A general live tracking framework is proposed. It is applicable for any kind of logistics system. In this study the Romanian railway system is used as a test environment. Train movements are simulated based on timetables. Using the framework a web application is developed. The sensor system consists of an End Device (ED) and an Access Point (AP). The ED acquires and transmits the accelerometer data operating in the license free 2.4 GHz ISM band. The AP receives and forwards the data packets to the PC through USB virtual serial connection. Conventional image compression algorithms are solely tuned for optimal human perception. This paper studies the effect on features used in discriminative cascade classifiers for nighttime pedestrian desection, namely Haar wavelet features, Edge Orientation Histogram features and Standard deviation features. The induced error is modeled and evaluated for these feature classes. By approximating the noise on specific image feature instances, a re-adaption of the decision boundaries is possible. In the case of tourism packages, the customer can choose from predefined ones both online or offline, or they can use numerous specialized web pages that can be of lesser or greater complexity. Most of them configure a package from a series of lists which the customer should pick an option from. This can often be rather time-consuming and annoying, especially if the customer has no real knowledge about the options available. The ERP applications like SAP and MS Dynamics are applied to several functional areas such as finance, logistics, human resources, etc. As long as diversity and complexity of such ERP applications are increasing in an organization there is a need of successful performance measurement. Different methods and tools are available for analyzing the effectiveness of ERP processes, technologies or even the users, employees. Usage of OLAP Information Cubes in MS AX for information collection and aggregation to define basis for business metrics called Key Performance Indicator (KPI). Similarly, SAP provides BI (Business Intelligent) based solutions for collecting performance relevant information for the business processes, employees, activities or even technical system level measurements. There has been extensive research on the topic, resulting in solutions based on broadcasting/multicasting, rendezvous servers and domain name based service discoveries among others. Still, currently deployed solutions generally are centralized or have some failure-sensitive points. In this type of networked environment the data model can change dynamically over time (concept drift). Identifying when concept drift occurred is a key for several drift handling techniques and important in numerous scenarios. However drift handling approaches exist, no efficient solution for detecting the drift is known in very large scale networks. Here, we propose an approach that can detect the concept drift in large scale and fully distributed networks. In our approach, the learning is performed by applying online learners that take random walks in the network while updating themselves using the samples available at the nodes. The drift detection is based on an adaptive mechanism which uses the historical performances of the models.
